Chapter 122 The Death of Deliora

As the words fell, an invisible ripple spread through the air, and then Urudia's figure slowly appeared.

She maintained her disguise as Saludi, but the fear in her eyes was unmistakable.

"I didn't expect you to defeat the infamous 'Fairy Queen' so easily. You probably already have the strength of one of the 'Ten Wizard Saints'."

Faced with Ultear's assessment, Wes's four clones stared intently at her, while his main body took out a device resembling the Iron Maiden from his briefcase, imprisoned the unconscious Erza inside, and then put the device back into the briefcase.

"Don't underestimate Fairy Tail," Ultear warned. "Their guild leader, Makarov Dolea, is notoriously protective of his own. Moreover, he has close ties with the guild leaders of other guilds. Offending Fairy Tail is practically the same as offending most of the Light Guild."

Ultear's words were not entirely well-intentioned; in fact, she was plotting how to recruit Wes to her side.

This guy is incredibly strong and acts without any scruples. If we can bring him into the 'Heart of the Devil,' our chances of winning will undoubtedly increase significantly.

Wes turned to look at her, and the four clones immediately adjusted their positions, forming an encirclement.

"Hey!" Ultear realized something was wrong. "I was just trying to be helpful, what do you mean by this?"

"I am also very interested in your 'Arc of Time'."

Wes made no attempt to hide his intentions; he didn't mind getting into another fight.

His confrontation with Erza allowed him to absorb some of the Philosopher's Stone energy, increasing his physical strength and magical power.

He now craves battle, especially high-intensity battles that can help him digest the remaining energy in his body more quickly.

"asshole!"

Ultear roared in anger, never expecting Wes to be so crazy, daring to show such obvious hostility in front of her.

At the same time, a violent surge of magical energy emanated from the direction of the ruins, as if something was about to emerge from its cocoon.

"Deliora's seal has been broken!"

Urutia was overjoyed.

So she ignored Wes and vanished into thin air like a bubble, heading to a more important scene.

"It wasn't the real body that came; no wonder they're so fearless."

Wes looked up at the sky, where a powerful magical force, about to solidify, was rising from the depths of the ruins, a truly awe-inspiring sight.

"Let me witness Deliora's demise."

Weiss disappeared from the spot using "Apparition" and reappeared inside the ruins.

His sudden appearance went unnoticed; everyone's attention was drawn to Deliora, who had escaped his confinement.

Inside the ruins, Deliora's enormous body tumbled in the air, his cold, ruthless eyes scanning the surroundings.

It roared to the sky, its voice echoing like muffled thunder across the entire island. Countless animals sensed this terrifying power and scattered in all directions.

Its enormous size and terrifying magic brought a tremendous sense of oppression to everyone present.

"Ha~ha~ha~" Leon suddenly burst into maniacal laughter. "Finally, finally this moment has arrived!!"

He walked step by step toward Deliora, covered in wounds.

"Leon!"

Despite his own injuries, Gray tried to stop him, but Leon shoved him away without mercy, sending him crashing to the ground.

Witnessing this, Natsu and Lucy were furious, and it looked like they were about to start fighting again.

Wes suddenly broke the silence: "That guy is dead."

Leon reacted the most violently, almost screaming, "What did you say??"

Even though Wes had never read the original story, he could tell from the scene before him and Deliora's condition that the giant beast's life had actually come to an end.

"Don't you all sense that although its magic appears powerful, it's actually very fragile? Its life force is like a candle flickering in the wind, ready to be extinguished at any moment. Don't you all have this ability to perceive?"

After Wes's reminder, everyone present calmed down and carefully observed Deliora.

Indeed, as Wes said, they were all intimidated by Deliora's former fame, and the powerful magic it unleashed when the seal was broken made them mistakenly believe that it was still in its prime.

"What exactly is going on?"

At that moment, Gray shouted out the reason: "It's Ul! Ul sealed Deliora with 'Absolute Freeze,' and not only that, 'Absolute Freeze' has been draining Deliora's life force for so many years. In fact, Deliora has already been killed by Ul!"

"Great!!" The Fairy Tail members cheered.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

However, Leon still couldn't accept this fact: "Impossible! How could this be!"

Gray looked at his senior, his heart filled with complicated emotions, but he didn't know how to comfort him.

At that moment, Natsu, who was always straightforward, charged at Deliora without hesitation and threw a punch that struck its body hard.

As Natsu's fist landed, cracks began to appear on Deliora's body, and these cracks spread rapidly until they covered his entire body.

Immediately afterwards, with a crisp "crack!", Deliora's body shattered into countless ice shards, which gradually dissipated into the air under the wind, and he left this world forever.

This dramatic turn of events took everyone by surprise.

Only Wes and Natsu seemed to have anticipated this, while the others stood frozen in place.

Leon, in particular, had a face full of confusion and bewilderment, as if asking himself, "Where am I? What am I doing?"

Finally, Gray broke the silence: "It seems that Master Uru really did it... We should be proud of her."

While everyone was still reeling from Deliora's defeat, Wes suddenly turned to leave, but after taking a few steps, he seemed to remember something important.

He then turned to the Fairy Tail members and said, "Oh, by the way, Erza has been captured by me. Tell your guild master to prepare the ransom."

After saying that, he casually tossed a piece of paper aside and left without looking back.

"What did he say???"

Natsu could hardly believe his ears and turned to Gray to confirm, but Gray also had an incredulous expression on his face, completely unprepared for this sudden situation.

Before they could even react, Wes had vanished without a trace.

By the time everyone had finally recovered from their shock, Wes had already taken off in a flying car, heading towards the top of the island.
