Chapter 255 The Accuser
Chapter 255 The Accuser
"It's the Kree army!!" someone shouted in terror, their voice filled with shock and unease.
All eyes turned to the massive spaceships in the sky. The spaceships had a dark metallic sheen and sharp, powerful lines.
The ship's hull was engraved with Kree symbols.
A strong sense of fear welled up in the hearts of the raiders, for they knew the nature of the Crees all too well.
The Kree are physically strong, and every Kree warrior possesses amazing physical attributes and combat abilities.
The Cree revere strength, and in their culture, battle is a supreme honor. They value honor and will pay any price to defend it.
The Cree frequently clashed and fought with other races.
Throughout their long history, they waged war against the Skrulls for thousands of years.
The two sides engaged in a fierce struggle for control of the universe.
This war was filled with bloodshed and cruelty, and countless lives were lost in it.
In the universe, the Kree don't have a very good reputation.
They are extremely aggressive, and wherever they go, they often bring destruction and disaster.
Especially after being recruited by Thanos, the Kree became a sharp weapon in Thanos's hands.
Under Thanos's command, they wage wars everywhere, serving Thanos's ambitions.
Their actions provoked strong resentment and resistance from other races.
Moreover, this time it was Ronan the Accuser, the supreme commander of the Crees.
His fame resounded throughout the universe, inspiring fear in all who heard of him.
"The Sphere of the Universe is down there?" Ronan's tall and imposing figure stood like an unshakeable mountain, his voice deep and majestic, as if it could penetrate one's soul.
Clad in magnificent black and silver armor, covered with intricate patterns and mysterious runes, these patterns occasionally shimmered with an eerie light under the illumination.
"Yes," the adjutant beside him replied respectfully.
He knew that the Void was the Collector's territory, but Ronan didn't take it seriously.
In his view, the collector was nothing more than a weakling obsessed with collecting rare treasures, utterly incapable of contending with the mighty Kree Empire.
"Send it down," Ronan commanded, his tone filled with unquestionable authority.
"Yes, sir!" The adjutant immediately relayed the order, and a portion of the Kree ships began to slowly descend.
As the spaceship landed, the hatch opened, and countless Kree poured out like a tide, stepping onto the void.
They were all well-equipped, and their eyes were filled with coldness and determination.
As soon as these Kree set foot on the Void, they began indiscriminate attacks.
They attack any living creature they see without hesitation.
Their weapons unleashed powerful beams of energy, engulfing everything around them in an aura of destruction.
The raiders, space pirates, and the guards of the Void were forced to join forces to fight back against the Kree attack.
They each used their own strengths to engage in a fierce battle with the Kree.
The entire void had become a battlefield, filled with smoke and the flames of war.
The Kree, with their superior strength and equipment, gained an absolute advantage.
Their attacks were as fierce as a storm, leaving the enemy unable to withstand them.
Ronan personally led the search for the cosmic orb.
"Why would Ronan know about this place?" Gamora was filled with doubt; she didn't understand why the Kree would receive the message.
Her eyes revealed vigilance and unease, and she gripped her weapon tightly in her hand.
Star-Lord and Rocket fired relentlessly, their weapons unleashing beams of energy that repelled wave after wave of Kree.
Star-Lord was filled with tension and anxiety. He knew the Kree were not to be trifled with, and if he were captured by them, the consequences would be unimaginable.
"Who knows? The important thing now is to get out of here," Star-Lord shouted as he fired.
His voice revealed a hint of helplessness and urgency; he knew that at this moment, the only way to save his life was to leave this place as soon as possible.
"Ronan is after the Spirit Orb."
"Will he pay?" Star-Lord's thinking was always so peculiar; even in such a tense moment, he was still thinking about money.
Gamora rolled her eyes at Star-Lord, feeling helpless at his money-grubbing nature.
"Damn it, we have to find a chance to break out." The Rockets were furious when they heard there was no money to be made.
His small eyes gleamed with anger as he yelled, "Go eat shit, Kree!!"
"Target located, coordinates are..."
Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!
After obtaining the coordinates, Ronan immediately led his men to the location.
Seeing Gamora attack her own subordinates, Ronan sneered. "You betrayed Thanos."
Gamora remained silent in the face of Ronan's accusations.
She knew she had made the right choice.
She will no longer serve Thanos; she will fight for her own freedom and justice.
Ronan's lips curled up. He was already dissatisfied with Gamora for coming to monitor him, and now that he had a legitimate reason, he was even less likely to let this opportunity pass.
He raised his warhammer and slammed it hard into the ground.
With a loud "Boom!!", the ground caved in, and the shockwave sent people flying.
People who were a little further away also lost their balance and fell to the ground.
Before they could react, Ronan had already rushed in front of them like lightning.
The warhammer crashed down on Gamora with a thunderous roar, its immense power chilling to the bone.
A deep, muffled bang, like a thunderclap, echoed across the entire battlefield.
The intense sound waves assaulted everyone's eardrums, giving them a sudden jolt.
Ronan looked on in astonishment, his cold eyes fixed on Drax, who had blocked his attack.
Ronan held nothing back with this attack; he thought that no one could stop it and that it would surely kill Gamora.
However, the big, bald man in front of him actually had strength that was comparable to his own.
A hint of surprise welled up in Ronan's heart. He narrowed his eyes slightly and looked Drax up and down.
"Who are you?" Ronan's voice was deep and authoritative, carrying a strong sense of oppression.
His eyes were filled with doubt and wariness; this sudden appearance forced him to take the guy seriously.
"Where is Thanos? Why isn't it him who came??" Drax's eyes were bloodshot, filled with anger and hatred.
His hometown was brutally destroyed by Thanos, and his wife and daughters also perished in that disaster.
From then on, he had only one wish in his heart: revenge.
The simple-minded Drax originally thought that sending out the coordinates of the Sphere would attract Thanos, and he longed to confront Thanos head-on and avenge his family.
However, to their surprise, it was the Crees who arrived.
