Chapter 256 The Collector

"Damn it, it's you!!" Gamora suddenly realized that Drax had attracted the Kree.

Her eyes were filled with anger and helplessness; this reckless act had put them in an even more dangerous situation.

"That's right." Drax grinned foolishly, thinking his approach was brilliant.

In his naive mind, any price was worth paying as long as it could attract Thanos.

He didn't consider how much trouble the Kree's arrival would cause them, nor did he realize that his actions could lead to the deaths and destruction of countless people.

He was single-mindedly focused on revenge, relentlessly pursuing his goal.

"You idiot!" Rocket couldn't help but yell, "Is your head full of dog shit?"

"I am Groot".

Even the usually mild-mannered Groot couldn't help but complain.

Waving his tree branch-like arms, he expressed his dissatisfaction.

However, now is not the time for infighting.

They all knew that surviving the Kree was the most important thing.

"biu~biu~"

Star-Lord nimbly circled in the air and fired at Ronan.

His movements were agile and swift, and the two guns in his hands constantly spewed out beams of energy.

However, all the attacks were blocked by Ronan's energy barrier.

Star-Lord's face grew even darker; the ineffectiveness of his attacks was incredibly frustrating.

Gamora roamed the battlefield, moving like a ghost among the Kree ranks.

She was agile and nimble, and her weapon relentlessly reaped the lives of the Kree.

She knew that she wouldn't be a match for Ronan in a direct confrontation; the only way was to seize an opportunity and strike decisively.

This was exactly the fighting style she excelled at; she was waiting for the perfect opportunity.

Drax held Ronan back from the front.

His strong body was like an unshakeable mountain as he engaged in a fierce battle with Ronan.

For a moment, Ronan found himself unable to shake off Drax's entanglement.

Star-Lord and Rocket kept firing at Ronan, trying to deplete his energy.

Although their attacks failed to break through Ronan's energy barrier, they did put some pressure on him.

Groot then worked with Gamora to clear out the Kree minions.

He wove enormous vines with his body to bind the Crees tightly, or used his branch-like arms to knock them away.

While Groot's strength was not as great as Drax's, his agility and control gave the Kree a lot of trouble.

The Cree offensive was held back by five men.

Despite the overwhelming strength of the Kree, the five of them managed to hold out and caused the Kree considerable trouble.

This is simply unbelievable.

"Quickly!! Counterattack!!" The others saw an opportunity and quickly organized a counterattack.

They boarded the ship and engaged the Kree air force.

The two sides fought back and forth, and the fierce battle filled the sky with flames.

Seeing this, Ronan simply sneered.

His eyes were filled with disdain and arrogance, mocking these people's overestimation of their abilities.

"Launch," Ronan commanded, and the Kree mothership began to gather powerful energy.

A dazzling light flashed, and the mothership launched a salvo.

The powerful energy beam instantly destroyed all the raider and space pirate ships.

Only the Kree ships remained in the air, giving them an absolute advantage.

The cannon muzzle slowly rotated, like a ferocious beast opening its blood-red maw, pointing towards the ground.

The dark, gaping muzzle exuded a chilling aura, like a pack of ferocious beasts poised to unleash destructive power at any moment.

Without Ronan's orders, the Kree acted like a sophisticated war machine, efficient and ruthless.

"Whoosh~"

"Whoosh~"

A sharp whistling sound instantly ripped through the sky, and dazzling streaks of light flashed across the heavens like shooting stars, hurtling towards the ground.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

The artillery fire poured down like a torrential rain, leaving the void riddled with holes under the ferocious onslaught.

Each explosion sent up huge plumes of smoke and fire, further fragmenting this already mysterious and chaotic land.

Whether they were fierce raiders, cunning space pirates, or those who came to the Void for pleasure, they all became targets of the Kree.

No one was spared from this relentless barrage of gunfire.

The raiders fled in panic, but they could not escape the ever-present destructive force.

They attempted to resist with their own ships, but their resistance proved futile against the overwhelming firepower of the Kree.

Those who came to seek pleasure were now plunged into endless fear, crying out in despair, but unable to change their impending fate of destruction.

After a round of bombing, the Crees began to systematically collect their spoils.

They are like greedy ants, not letting go of anything of value.

The Kree plundered countless resources, from precious energy crystals to ancient and mysterious artifacts, from mountains of wealth to advanced technological equipment; everything of value was looted by the Kree.

However, strangely enough, the collector has not yet come forward.

Wes stood quietly to the side, his mind filled with doubt.

He couldn't believe that a collector who had lived for countless years would be helpless against the Cree.

The collector's collection includes many powerful weapons, so he cannot be easily suppressed by the Kree.

[They must have foreseen all of this, which is why they didn't take action.]

Weiss pondered to himself that the collector must have his own plans and considerations, which were just not yet known to others.

What's troubling Wes is whether or not to take action.

He was caught in a fierce internal struggle.

With the Power Stone right in front of them, now was undoubtedly the best time to make a move. The Kree were somewhat distracted after a round of bombing and looting, and they would not have expected that anyone would dare to rashly try to seize the Orb of Destiny in this chaotic situation.

Wes's eyes darted back and forth between the Kree ranks and the Orb of Destiny, his mind racing as he weighed the pros and cons of taking action.

After a moment's thought, Wes no longer hesitated and decided to take action.

Just then, "You've made up your mind."

The sound from behind startled Wes.

The voice was deep and magnetic, yet it exploded in his ears like a bolt from the blue.

He didn't sense anyone.

A strong sense of unease welled up in his heart. Who was secretly watching him?

What is this person's purpose?

Wes tensed up instantly, realizing that his actions had been noticed.
