Chapter 260 Evolution

Wes took a deep breath, trying to calm his trembling heart.

Although he was absolutely confident in his heart, after all, he had gone through countless challenges and trials and possessed great strength and unwavering belief.

However, at this moment, as he was about to truly face the power of the Power Stone, a power capable of destroying the world, he still couldn't help but feel nervous.

He slowly extended his right hand, his index finger trembling slightly. The moment he touched the Power Gem, he felt as if he had been struck by a powerful electric shock.

A powerful and violent force instantly spread throughout his body, causing his body to convulse involuntarily.

Then came the unbearable, intense pain.

Wes felt every muscle in his body being mercilessly torn apart; the pain was like thousands of sharp blades cutting into his body, almost making him faint.

Every nerve was emitting painful screams, as if it were being burned by raging fire.

Even every single cell is under tremendous pressure, as if it could burst at any moment.

The power of the Power Gem relentlessly washed over his body, like a raging flood, unstoppable.

Wes felt as if he were in the middle of a terrible storm, and could be destroyed by this powerful force at any moment.

Even so, Weiss remained rational.

He knew that at this critical moment, losing his composure would mean utter defeat.

He kept using healing magic, mobilizing the magical power within his body, and trying his best to repair his body damaged by the Power Gem.

The light of healing magic shimmered around his body, like warm sunlight, soothing his wounded body.

He continuously strengthened his body, infusing magical power into every cell, making his body more resilient and powerful.

Again and again, his body was being reshaped.

Every reshaping is an evolution.

Wes's body gradually changed under the influence of the Power Stone.

His muscles became stronger, his nerves became more sensitive, and his cells became more vibrant.

He is undergoing a transformative metamorphosis, and his life is gradually evolving.

Time passed by unnoticed as Wes devoted himself entirely to the struggle against the Power Stone.

He forgot about time, forgot about everything around him, and had only one belief in his heart: to defeat the power of the Power Stone and take it into his own hands.

Finally, after an unknown amount of time, Wes was able to control the power gem's energy within his body.

He felt that the violent power gradually become docile under his control, like a tamed beast.

Wes opened his eyes, his gaze filled with confidence and determination.

He knew that he had successfully taken an important step and made great strides toward his goal.

Wes gazed quietly at his right hand, which was as white as jade, like a flawless work of art.

It has no visible pores and is as smooth and delicate as the purest white jade.

Every inch of her skin radiated a subtle glow.

He moved his fingers slightly, feeling the new power surging within his body.

Then, he braced himself against the rock face with his right hand, trying to stand up.

However, he underestimated his own power at that moment.

With a "poof" sound, five neat finger marks instantly appeared on the hard rock wall.

The hard rock was like soft dough in his hands, easily broken.

Wes stared at his right hand in astonishment, his heart filled with shock.

He took out a piece of iron from his spatial storage.

However, now, with a gentle clench of his right hand, the piece of iron was kneaded and rubbed as if it were clay.

The iron block changed shape constantly in his hands, as if it had no resistance whatsoever.

His physical body had completely transcended the realm of humanity, becoming incredibly powerful.

Wes brought up the panel and stared intently at the wizard rankings displayed on it.

The level number jumped two levels at once, becoming level 9.

This number represents a new level of achievement for him, and a strong sense of accomplishment wells up in his heart.

"Ha~ha~ha," Wes couldn't help but burst into laughter.

The laughter echoed through the empty cave, filled with joy and excitement.

This was indeed a fruitful harvest; the power of the Power Gem greatly enhanced his strength.

However, he also knew that the most important thing now was to get to know his enhanced body and master this new power.

This planet is a great place; it's vast and undisturbed.

As Wes adapted to his surging magic and power, he collected creatures from the planet.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

He traversed this wild land, searching for interesting creatures.

Whenever he encounters a creature that interests him, he uses magic to transfer it to his own space, adding some vitality to that space.

However, these creatures did not survive for long in his space.

Because they lack a complete food chain, they cannot obtain enough resources for survival.

Soon, they became plant nutrients and returned to nature.

However, it's unknown how many years it would take for animals to evolve on their own within a given space.

"Hopefully Kingpin has everything ready." Wes suddenly remembered Kingpin on Earth.

He expected Kingpin to prepare what he needed, as they had agreed.

Wes returned to his own space.

This space is his secret base and his unique haven.

He began to expand and reinforce the space.

As his powerful magic surged, the space began to undergo wondrous changes.

The already vast space expanded several times over.

However, despite the increased size of the space, it still felt somewhat empty.

Apart from various lush plants, there are no other living things.

These plants grow quietly in the space, exuding the scent of life, but they cannot bring real vitality to the space.

In the entire space, only he and Jandi were able to move freely.

Looking at the silent space, Weiss couldn't help but feel a sense of loneliness.

He even missed Matou Kariya and Matou Sakura; when they were around, this space at least had some life.

Moreover, such a large space definitely needs someone to manage it.

Jandi has always managed the Mage Tower with utmost care, which has kept her extremely busy.

With the various affairs within the Mage Tower requiring his meticulous care and arrangement, he had no spare energy to manage this ever-expanding space.

"Perhaps we can recruit some people," Wes muttered to himself.

He began to think about suitable candidates, but for the time being, he couldn't think of any suitable candidates.
