Chapter 317 Agree

"Too naive," Wes shook his head, his expression calm and serious. "You only have 7% of your peak strength right now."

Whitebeard did not refute this, but remained silent for a moment, which was taken as an admission that what Wes said was true.

"The best outcome would be if you and Ace died in battle, and half of the Whitebeard Pirates managed to escape from Marine Headquarters; that would be a victory."

Wes continued to analyze the impending battle situation frankly, his words like a bucket of cold water, mercilessly extinguishing the last glimmer of hope in everyone's hearts.

Upon hearing this, Marco, Jozu, Vista, and Whitebeard of the Whitebeard Pirates were momentarily speechless, unsure how to respond.

What Wess said was cruel, but it was incredibly realistic. They all knew in their hearts that facing the terrifyingly powerful Marine Headquarters, the difficulty of this battle would far exceed their imagination.

"I'm confident I can heal your injuries and restore you to your full strength," Wes said, offering this tempting offer.

Upon hearing this, Whitebeard's heart stirred.

If one's own strength can be increased by even a fraction, then the chances of winning in the battle against the Marine Headquarters will naturally increase.

However, he also understood that there was no such thing as a free lunch, and Wes must have had his reasons for saying that.

"Your goal is..."

The white-bearded man stared intently at Wes and asked in a deep voice.

"Your body."

Weiss answered crisply and without any attempt to hide anything.

"Clang!" Vista instantly drew his twin swords, his eyes filled with anger and vigilance, and prepared to charge at Wes.

Jozu activated his ability without hesitation, his body shimmering with diamond-like light, ready to strike at any moment.

Marco's expression changed drastically. He never expected that Wes's purpose was this; it was simply a desecration of them.

Just as the three were about to make their move, Whitebeard stopped them with a gesture.

The white-bearded man stared sharply at Wes and asked in a deep voice, "Do you know what you're saying?"

His eyes seemed to say that if Wes said the wrong thing, he would not be polite and would take action immediately.

Seeing this, Luo broke out in a cold sweat. He gripped his weapon tightly, ready to join the battle as soon as the two sides clashed.

Wes, however, remained calmly seated, his expression indifferent, as if he were not worried about any danger whatsoever.

He looked at the white-bearded man and said slowly, "Even if the Rocks Pirates were to be resurrected, they wouldn't be a match for the Marine Headquarters, let alone you alone."

Whitebeard sighed inwardly upon hearing Wes's words, knowing that Wes was right.

The Navy Headquarters is now incredibly powerful; no pirate crew could possibly be a match for them.

Moreover, isn't the Navy going to all this trouble to carry out public executions just to save their own lives?

As long as I survive, the Marine Headquarters will absolutely not let this go.

"We need to discuss this," the white-bearded man said to Wes and Luo after a moment of silence.

Seeing this, Wes and Luo tactfully gave the four of them some space, then left the room and waited quietly outside.

Half an hour later, Marco walked out of the room dejectedly, his eyes visibly red and swollen, indicating that he had just been crying.

He said weakly to Wes and Rowe, "Come in, Dad agreed."

When Wes and Luo entered the room, they saw that Vista and Joz also had red eyes, clearly indicating that they had just gone through a fierce internal struggle and painful decision-making process.

"I agree. After I die, my body will remain yours to dispose of."

The white-bearded man spoke casually, as if he weren't talking about his own body, "These idiots won't stop you."

Joz and Vista glared at Wes, their eyes filled with resentment and anger. They simply couldn't accept this outcome, but they couldn't go against Whitebeard's decision.

Wes, however, paid no attention to their stares and simply said, "Then we can begin the treatment now."

The group then went to the Moby Dick's medical room.

Whitebeard slowly lay down on the huge operating table, his massive body almost taking up the entire table.

After entering the medical room, Luo glanced at the medical records that were taller than a person and couldn't help but exclaim, "How on earth did you survive?!"

The thick medical records showed that Whitebeard's body was riddled with holes, yet he was still able to breathe and exhale, which was a miracle in itself.

As the ship's doctor, Marco naturally knew Whitebeard's physical condition best, and he explained Whitebeard's various injuries and illnesses to Law in detail.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

While listening to Marco's explanation, Law activated the power of the Op-Op Fruit and began to conduct a more detailed examination of Whitebeard.

For him, the power of the Ope Ope no Mi was more convenient and trustworthy than any instrument, allowing him to gain a deeper understanding of the true state of Whitebeard's body.

Wes wasn't idle either; he used his magical detection techniques to examine the white-bearded man's body.

The two quickly came to the conclusion that the fact that Whitebeard had managed to hold on until now was the result of Marco's best efforts in taking care of him.

His current physical condition is too poor to undergo conventional surgical treatment. The slightest mistake could trigger a chain reaction, causing all his old injuries to flare up, and Whitebeard might die on the spot.

"That's why I haven't had my dad's surgery yet."

Marco's voice was filled with endless pain. He covered his eyes tightly with his hands, as if this could shield him from the cruel reality and prevent him from facing his father's terrible health.

"My healing abilities can only be used on myself."

Marco was filled with regret and helplessness. How he wished that Whitebeard had eaten the Phoenix Fruit, which granted him powerful self-healing abilities. If that were the case, his father might not have had to suffer from this torment.

Luo frowned, concentrating intently on the surgical plan.

After all, others might be unable to undergo surgery because of Whitebeard's poor physical condition, but he possesses the miraculous power of the Op-Op Fruit, so theoretically he has the opportunity to create a miracle.

However, the key issue is that Whitebeard is now nearing the end of his life and is extremely weak.

There will inevitably be bleeding during the surgery, and given his current physical condition, it could very well cost him his life.

According to conventional medical practice, Bai Xianzi should be allowed to recuperate for at least a year before he can withstand the risks of surgery, once his physical condition has improved and his various functions have recovered to some extent.

But now, there's simply no time to spare. The public execution by the Navy Headquarters is imminent, and every minute and second is incredibly precious. There's simply not enough time to slowly recuperate Whitebeard's body.

Thinking of this, the two of them simultaneously turned their gaze to Wes.
