Chapter 397 Wakanda
Chapter 397 Wakanda
On the vast African savanna, it is the season for the great migration of animals, and the scene is truly spectacular.
Herds of zebras surged past like a vast black and white wave, raising clouds of dust.
The bison marched with steady, powerful strides, one herd after another. Their massive bodies, gathered together, resembled a mobile fortress, displaying strength and imposing presence.
For the hunters on the grasslands, this was undoubtedly a feast, a chance to gorge themselves during the great migration and fully enjoy the bountiful gifts of nature.
Weiss moved with lightning speed, looking down at everything from high above. His eyes held a deep and complex expression, as if he saw not only the vibrant scene of animal migration, but also the entire cycle of birth, growth, and death of life, constantly flowing and alternating here, never stopping.
The laws governing the workings of all things in this world are vividly displayed on this vast grassland, causing Wes to fall into a brief state of contemplation.
Then, Wes moved swiftly, descending from the sky like a ghost, and landed steadily among a pride of lions.
This sudden turn of events instantly put the lions on alert. Their previously languid eyes sharpened instantly as they stared intently at the bipedal creature that had suddenly appeared. They circled him warily, occasionally letting out low growls, as if warning Wes not to make any rash moves, as this was their territory and could not be violated.
Just then, a little lion seemed to have discovered something new and interesting. Its gaze was drawn to the mysterious and gorgeous patterns on Wes's robe. With a curious glint in its eyes, it hopped and skipped over, completely ignoring the tense atmosphere around it.
Seeing this, the lioness growled anxiously from behind, trying to call back her cubs. She sensed an indescribable threat from Wes, an instinctive alert that kept her on high alert at all times.
Hearing its mother's roar, the little lion turned to look at her, its steps faltering slightly. But the patterns on the robe were so beautiful, they held a great attraction for it. After hesitating for a moment, it continued running towards Wes.
"You are very talented."
Wes looked at the little lion running towards him, paused for a moment, then smiled faintly and said softly.
Ordinary animals wouldn't be interested in the runes on his robe, but the little lion's behavior surprised him and made him appreciate it more.
As he spoke, Wes bent down and picked up the little guy, extended his index finger and gently pressed it on its forehead. A gentle spiritual force slowly flowed into the little lion's body. The spiritual force seemed to carry some kind of mysterious power and merged into the little lion's consciousness.
After doing all this, Wes put the lion cub back on the ground, looked at it with gentle eyes, and said softly, "See you again if fate allows."
Then he turned and left, his figure quickly disappearing from the lion pride's sight.
The lion cub stood there, looking bewildered in the direction Wes had gone. Before it could react, the lioness swiftly grabbed it by the scruff of its neck and carried it back to the pride. As she walked, the lioness kept glancing back in the direction Wes had gone, her eyes still filled with vigilance.
Weiss continued on his way and soon arrived in Wakanda.
From the outside, the place still looks very backward, as if it were still in the tribal era. People wear traditional clothes, live in simple thatched huts, and lead a simple and unpretentious life. The place is filled with a primitive atmosphere.
However, all of this was just an illusion.
Without the slightest hesitation, Wes walked straight ahead, his body passing directly through the seemingly ordinary boundary. In an instant, the scene before him changed completely.
The familiar African savanna landscape remains, but it is now interspersed with various high-tech products. Advanced aircraft shuttle through the air, intelligent buildings with a metallic sheen are scattered in an orderly manner, and there are also uniquely shaped and functionally diverse technological devices everywhere.
The unique African charm blends with high-tech elements to create a peculiar and futuristic style, resembling an African version of cyberpunk, which is both eye-catching and makes people marvel at the magic and mystery hidden beneath the surface.
Weiss's appearance naturally aroused the vigilance of the locals. They looked at this unfamiliar outsider with wary eyes, after all, it was rare for outsiders to be able to break into this place on a normal day.
Wes, however, seemed completely oblivious to his unpopularity, and continued to stroll leisurely through the streets, looking around with great interest in the technologically advanced things around him, as if he were just an ordinary tourist admiring the novel scenery of a foreign land.
Soon, news of the intruders reaching the King of Wakanda reached him.
Wakanda has a unique tradition that every king inherits the name T'Challa.
The current King T'Challa is wise and has a strong sense of justice. He used to have a good relationship with Steve, and even helped Steve hide the Winter Soldier's whereabouts, which shows that the two had a deep relationship.
Why is he here?
When T'Challa saw Wes's appearance, he was taken aback, knowing full well that Wes was no ordinary person.
Wakanda's intelligence network spans the globe, and they have gathered comprehensive intelligence on Wes. In their assessment, Wes is an extremely dangerous individual, a monster with the power to destroy a nation.
Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!
The sudden appearance of such a person in Wakanda cast a shadow over T'Challa's heart; his brow furrowed, and his mind was filled with worry.
"Don't get into a conflict with him."
T'Challa acted decisively and immediately issued orders. He knew that confronting Wes head-on at this moment was unwise and could bring annihilation to Wakanda if he was not careful. Therefore, he could only stabilize the situation first and then make further plans.
"I'm coming right away."
As he spoke, T'Challa quickly assembled his guards and headed towards Wes's location.
Wes, on the other hand, had long sensed that he was being watched, and there were quite a few of them, but since he noticed that they showed no signs of making a move, he let them do as they pleased.
Soon after, T'Challa arrived at the scene with his bodyguard team. The members of the bodyguard team all looked serious, holding advanced weapons, and closely guarded T'Challa.
All eyes turned to Wes.
