Chapter 88 Prologue 1

"The Ministry of Magic officials are all full of shit," Moody continued to criticize the Ministry of Magic like an angry young man. "They should be searching for the Death Eaters right now."

The students were clearly dressed up, wearing exquisite silk robes, and stepped gracefully down from the carriage, exuding nobility and elegance.

Viktor Krum, the Seeker for the Bulgarian national Quidditch team, stood next to Karkarov, and his appearance immediately caused quite a stir.

"Merlin's beard is actually Krum!!" In the recently concluded Quidditch World Cup, Krum showcased his skills and became an idol in the hearts of countless fans.

Now, he has actually come to Hogwarts as a Durmstrang student, which has caused a sensation throughout the campus.

The auditorium was filled with various enticing aromas as students sat around long tables, savoring delicacies from different countries.

Halfway through the banquet, Dumbledore stood up, tapped his glass, and signaled for everyone to quiet down.

"Dear students," Dumbledore's voice echoed through the hall, "today, we not only welcome friends from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, but also an important ceremony is about to begin, where we will together unveil the Goblet of Fire."

In front of everyone, Dumbledore, Mrs. Maxim, and Karkaroff, the three headmasters, walked onto the stage together and unveiled the black cloth covering the Goblet of Fire.

The Goblet of Fire may look like just an old wooden cup with nothing special about it, but it is the highest honor that students in magic schools all over Europe can obtain.

Dumbledore explained, "This Goblet of Fire will select the champions for the Triwizard Tournament. Any student who is 17 years of age or older may put their name into the Goblet. Tomorrow night, the Goblet will select one champion from each school to participate in the next round of competition."

A murmur of discussion immediately filled the auditorium. The students had already begun planning how to register for the competition, excitedly discussing how to seize this great opportunity to make a name for themselves.

"To avoid younger students voting," Dumbledore drew a line on the ground, "this is the age limit. Students under the age of 17 cannot cross this line."

Some of the younger students have already started plotting how to bypass Dumbledore's magic.

Dumbledore was well aware of his students' thoughts, but he did not intend to interfere. If even his students could break his magic, then he would not deserve to be called the greatest white wizard.
