Chapter 89 Prologue 2

When it was time to register, a long line formed in front of the Goblet of Fire, and even a few first-year students from Hogwarts were mixed in, but no one kicked them out of the line.

To date, no one has been able to surpass the age limit set by Dumbledore.

The auditorium was filled with a tense atmosphere as students discussed who would be the warrior and how to cross that seemingly insurmountable line.

Soon it was the twin brothers Fred and George's turn. They took out a bottle of the brewed aging potion from their pockets and drank it down in one gulp, like drinking a toast together.

The students watching held their breath, watching this scene intently.

The twin brothers wore smug smiles and strode toward the age line drawn by Dumbledore.

To everyone's astonishment, they successfully crossed the line!

"Wow!"

"Go Fred, George!"

"Well done! Become a warrior!!"

The cheers from all around made the twin brothers as proud as victorious generals. They swaggered to the Goblet of Fire, ready to cast their names into it.

"Bang!!"

With a loud bang, the twin brothers were thrown out of the age limit by a force and crashed heavily to the ground. The young wizards watching sighed, and some couldn't help but laugh.

Fred and George scrambled to their feet, brushing the dust off themselves, and the auditorium erupted in laughter once more.

The twin brothers, due to the backlash of the age line, had their hair and eyebrows turn silver-white, and long beards grow on their chins. They looked at each other, were stunned at first, and then pointed at each other and burst into laughter, laughing so hard that they fell to the ground and couldn't straighten up.

"I think Madam Pomfrey can help you get back to normal," Dumbledore said, standing on the stairs with a smile in his eyes.

"No need, Headmaster," Fred said breathlessly, "that long beard is too cool."

George chimed in, "Yeah, we like it this way."

The twin brothers stroked their long beards like Dumbledore, looking quite smug.

"Your beards are indeed very beautiful," Dumbledore said, a hint of jealousy in his voice.

In less than half a day, Hogwarts was filled with a large group of white-haired, youthful-looking little old men. These young wizards had all bought aging potions from the twins in an attempt to break through the age limit, but unsurprisingly, they all failed.

However, none of them went to the school clinic to see Mrs. Pomfrey, since the backlash was harmless and would only last for a few days.

Even more interestingly, they also held a contest to see who had the longest and most beautiful beard.

The twin brothers were not discouraged by this; instead, they took the opportunity to make a small profit.

A few days later, when the Triwizard Tournament champions were announced, Hogwarts' Great Hall was packed with people. Every student was filled with anticipation, hoping to be chosen.

Dumbledore, as the eldest, presided over the ceremony, with Barty Crouch representing the Ministry of Magic. He stood beside Dumbledore, his expression serious as he surveyed the students below.

Dumbledore raised his hands, signaling for silence. "Now, let us witness the choice of the Goblet of Fire."

Suddenly, the Goblet of Fire emitted a dazzling light, and a ball of flame rose from it, enveloping a piece of paper.

Dumbledore took the note and announced loudly, "The hero representing Durmstrang Academy of Wizardry is—Victor Krum!!"

Clap~ clap~ clap~ clap, applause and cheers immediately filled the entire auditorium. Krum representing Durmstrang School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was a popular choice.

He had anticipated this all along; no one in the school was qualified to compete with him. He calmly stood up, nodded slightly with a confident smile.

As the applause subsided, Dumbledore picked up the second slip of paper that the Goblet of Fire had spat out. "The hero representing Beauxbatons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is—Fleur Delacour!!"

Among the students at Beauxbatons, the most beautiful girl stood up. With that simple gesture, countless boys in the room were captivated by her.

Unlike Krum, many of her fellow students at Beauxbatons School of Magic curled their lip in disdain when Fleur was chosen as the hero; she wasn't very popular at the school.

Dumbledore continued to preside over the ceremony, and the Goblet of Fire shone brightly once more.

"The hero representing Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is—Cedric Diggory!!"

The auditorium erupted in the loudest cheers yet.

No matter how powerful or famous Krum was, or how beautiful Fleur was, they couldn't compare to Cedric being one of their own. The classmates all gathered around to congratulate him on becoming Hogwarts' representative.

The three warriors became the focus of the entire arena, with everyone surrounding them to express their congratulations and expectations.

"Bang!"

Another piece of paper shot out of the Goblet of Fire.

Everyone froze, even Dumbledore, who stood motionless, holding the note. Seeing everyone staring at him, Dumbledore slowly unfolded the note and read the name: "Harry Potter."

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

A deathly silence fell over the Great Hall, followed by an uproar. Harry Potter, a mere 14-year-old boy, had been chosen as the fourth champion of the Goblet of Fire.

Now, everyone's attention was focused on Harry Potter.

Harry stood there dumbfounded, not knowing what to do. Hermione nudged him, and he finally realized that he had been chosen.

The Triwizard Tournament has always featured only three warriors, but now there's an extra one – a situation no one anticipated.

The Great Hall suddenly became chaotic, with students from Beauxbatons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and Durmstrang School of Witchcraft and Wizardry questioning whether Hogwarts had cheated, and Madam Maxim and Karkaroff's expressions also became very serious.

Dumbledore stepped in and stabilized the situation, allowing Professor McGonagall to take Harry away first.

"Please be quiet. We will investigate the matter as soon as possible to ensure the fairness of the competition."

After calming the students down, Dumbledore quickly summoned the three headmasters, Barty Crouch, and the professors to a meeting to discuss the unexpected situation.

Mrs. Maxim was the most angry, questioning the fairness of the match.

"This is clearly unfair! The Goblet of Fire should not have chosen a fourth warrior."

To Wes's surprise, Karkaroff did not question Harry as he did in the original story; instead, he actively encouraged Harry to participate in the competition.

"The Goblet of Fire's choice has its reasons," Karkaroff said. "We cannot easily dismiss its decision. Moreover, now that four warriors have been chosen, we should respect the outcome."

This made Wes take a few more glances at him. Karkaroff's attitude was quite different from his behavior in the original work, and Wes began to suspect his true intentions.

Barty Crouch, however, believed that the Goblet of Fire was infallible.

"The Goblet of Fire is an ancient magical artifact; it doesn't make such a choice without reason. According to tradition, the chosen one must participate in the competition."

After some discussion, the three principals finally reached a consensus and decided to accept the Goblet of Fire's choice.

After many years, the Triwizard Tournament was held again, but it welcomed an unprecedented fourth warrior.

The Harry Potter storyline will conclude in the next few days. The protagonist will travel to a new world, and before that, the Harry Potter storyline needs to be completed.
