Chapter 92 I've been waiting for you

Just as November began, the first Triwizard Tournament was about to begin. The long-awaited Triwizard Tournament attracted the attention of countless people. Not only were the students and professors of Hogwarts excited, but the Ministry of Magic also attached great importance to it.

Barty Crouch, as the main person in charge, led the various departments of the Ministry of Magic to work closely together to ensure the smooth running of the competition. The Ministry of Magic intended to use the success of the Triwizard Tournament to cover up the defeat in the Quidditch World Cup, so they placed high hopes on this competition.

The four warriors underwent wand testing and pre-match interviews. The audience was getting impatient while waiting, and finally, amidst enthusiastic applause, the match officially began.

The first match was against the Fire Dragon.

Cedric's performance was far superior to that in the original story, proving Wes's rigorous training had paid off. He successfully retrieved the golden egg from the dragon's lair using clever strategies and powerful magic, drawing cheers from the audience for his outstanding performance.

When it was Harry's turn, he also displayed amazing courage and wisdom. Although he was a little nervous at first, he had already developed enough strength under Moody's special training. Harry used his flying skills to skillfully dodge the dragon's attack and finally obtained the golden egg.

During the scoring process, Karkaroff surprisingly gave Harry a high score.

This aroused Wes's suspicions. He thought Karkaroff might have been replaced by Barty Crouch Jr. or was under some kind of threat, but these speculations were not important. The key was to ensure the safety of Harry and the other warriors.

Soon, the warriors will experience the final round of the competition, with the Quidditch stadium transformed into the venue for the final match, a massive maze standing in the center.

Before the match, Wes called Cedric aside and handed him two things: "This pocket watch can help you block a fatal attack, and as for this..." Wes disdainfully handed Cedric a worn-out glove.

"This was made by Dumbledore. If you are teleported out of Hogwarts, don't panic. You only need to input a little magic to activate it, and we will come over with the Portkey."

Cedric solemnly accepted the two items and carefully hid them away.

As he was about to leave, Wes called out to him, "Cedric, don't push yourself. Harry's there..."

"Professor, I am the chosen hero." Cedric left with a smile. "And didn't you say that my strength has surpassed that of an ordinary adult wizard? You should have faith in me." After saying this, Cedric left.

With the sound of a whistle, the competition officially began.

Harry, Cedric, Krum, and Fleur entered the maze in order of their scores from the first two rounds. The audience was silent, everyone holding their breath.

Wes sat down next to Dumbledore, while Moody closed his eyes to conserve his energy, seemingly unconcerned about the game. Only Dumbledore kept a close eye on the game's progress, his gaze fixed on the maze entrance.

Inside the maze, the four warriors each took their own actions. Krum and Fleur quickly fell far behind, and it was clear to anyone with eyes that they had lost their chance to compete for the championship.

Now Harry and Cedric are vying for the championship, and the Triwizard Tournament has almost turned into an internal war within Hogwarts.

As Harry and Cedric drew closer to the Goblet of Fire, Dumbledore already held the Elder Wand in his hand, and Moody opened his eyes.

The atmosphere in the stands became extremely tense, with everyone waiting for the final result.

Harry and Cedric finally saw the Goblet of Fire and rushed toward it at the same time. Just as they touched the Goblet of Fire, a vortex suddenly appeared and teleported them out of Hogwarts.

The Goblet of Fire was made into a Portkey, and Harry and Cedric disappeared in front of thousands of people.

The audience erupted in uproar.

"What happened?"

"Where did they go?"

Who is the champion?

The officials from the Ministry of Magic were also bewildered. They had no idea what had happened. According to the rules, the champion would be decided the moment the hero touched the Goblet of Fire, but the two contestants had vanished in full view of everyone.

Only Wes, Dumbledore, and Moody knew the truth.

"Too slow," Moody kept glancing at his pocket watch. "A minute has passed, why hasn't the door key been activated yet?"

"Don't worry," Dumbledore reassured Moody. "With the magical items Wes gave us, Harry and the others can stay alive."

Five minutes later, everyone realized that something was wrong.

Cedric's parents anxiously questioned the officials at the Ministry of Magic, and the audience also began to feel uneasy, with everyone starting to have bad thoughts.

Professor McGonagall found Dumbledore: "What happened, Dumbledore?"

Her intuition told her that Dumbledore must know what had happened.

Just as Dumbledore was about to explain, the thing in his arms suddenly started to get hot.

He quickly took out the worn-out glove. "No time to explain, Minerva, this is yours." Dumbledore said this and then disappeared with Wes and Moody.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

Meanwhile, Harry and Cedric find themselves in a dark and desolate place, Little Hangleton Cemetery.

Surrounded by ancient trees and barren fields, the cemetery was filled with old tombstones and weeds, shrouded in thick fog, and the air was thick with the smell of decay.

Voldemort has been resurrected and has summoned the Death Eaters.

They surrounded Cedric and Harry, who stood back to back, both already injured.

The pocket watch Wes gave Cedric was damaged after being struck by Voldemort and lay smoking on the ground. Cedric had a deep wound on his arm, from which blood was flowing continuously.

"Don't be afraid," Cedric reassured Harry. "Professor Erwin and the Headmaster are on their way."

Harry swallowed nervously, his arm wound still bleeding profusely.

Voldemort was clearly surprised that he hadn't dealt with Cedric. His blood-red eyes were fixed on Cedric, as if trying to see right through him.

Cedric felt as if he were being stared at by a venomous snake, and the hairs on his body stood on end.

"A very interesting magical artifact, I just wonder how many times it can withstand my attacks," Voldemort said with a sneer. As soon as he finished speaking, his wand shot out a pale green beam of light, heading straight for Cedric.

Just as the deadly spell was about to strike Cedric, Wes, Dumbledore, and Moody suddenly appeared in front of them. Wes swung his wand and knocked Voldemort's spell away.

"Professor!" Cedric exclaimed in surprise.

"Well done, Cedric," Wes praised, then raised his wand and aimed it at Voldemort. "Leave the rest to us."
