Full-Time Magister: My Elements Evolve Infinitely

Chapter 21 alarmed Dean Xiao

"Kid, don't act rashly. What kind of spark is this?"

"I sensed an extremely powerful explosive force from it. If you join our Fire Academy and specialize in fire magic, you will definitely become the team's main damage dealer."

"You might even have the chance to join the National Team and represent our country in the 'World University Games'."

Upon hearing Lin Yu's words, Wei Rong quickly spoke up. Although there were many experts in the Fire Academy of the main campus, Lin Yu's level was far ahead.

It won't take a year or two to break through to the advanced level.

Many members of the National Team in the past only broke through to higher ranks during the "Training in Various Countries" period.

By the time the 'World National Games' arrives, this young man might already be a high-level, level three fire-type expert.

The summoning faction originally had the intention of poaching students.

However, upon seeing Lin Yu's extraordinary fire, which far surpassed that of the 'Spirit Seed,' they hesitated.

A moment later, the old mentor of the Summoning Department, wearing thick glasses, looked at Lin Yu and said in a kind tone, "Young man, you are very outstanding. In all my years at Qingyuan, you are the most talented and have the highest level of skill that I have ever seen."

"Although I really want you to join our Summoning Department, Wei Rong is right. Whether it's the Qingyuan Academy or the main academy, the Summoning Department or the Fire Department, they are all part of our 'Pearl Academy'."

"Your talents are better suited to that side."

"But don't worry, I won't stop you from coming to our Summoning Department to attend classes or learn. On the contrary, I'd be even more welcoming."

"Go, your future will be bright."

Lin Yu looked at the old mentor with a kind smile on his face, who was gesturing for him to go find Wei Rong, and sighed slightly in his heart.

Miscalculated.

Uniting against external forces is a fine tradition of our country, both before and after our time travel.

I underestimated the awareness of these mentors.

but.

If I were crazy enough, I think it wouldn't be too much for me to have the status and resources of a student in two departments.

Thinking about this...

Lin Yu took a deep breath, looked seriously at the old instructor of the Summoning Department, and said earnestly, "Instructor, didn't you ask me before if I knew dimensional summoning?"

Upon hearing Lin Yu's words, Wei Rong frowned, and the old mentor looked somewhat puzzled.

He countered with a question, "I did ask, but... your fire element is more important for your growth."

The old mentor hadn't finished speaking.

They stopped and looked at Lin Yu with shocked expressions. The other mentors or examiners also looked at him as if he were a monster.

Even Wei Rong and the fire-element female instructor from Qingyuan were no exception.

"This star map... it's actually a contract summoning???"

The old mentor was so shocked that he could hardly speak.

After regaining his senses, he stared wide-eyed at Lin Yu, his expression serious, and asked, "Your summoning ability is also mid-level?!?"

"What bloodline does your contracted beast have? What level has it reached now?"

Lin Yu put away his contract summoning, looked at his old mentor and smiled, opening his mouth but making no sound.

The old mentor was even more shocked when he saw it, as he could read Lin Yu's lips.

That's why he was even more shocked.

He then stepped forward, grabbed Lin Yu, and looked resolutely at Wei Rong, saying, "Wei Rong, you should go."

"We summoners absolutely must have this little guy!!"

Wei Rong looked solemn. Lin Yu had his back to him earlier, so he didn't know what Lin Yu had said to his old mentor.

but.

A mid-level summoning mage who is this young, the summoning profession will definitely not give up on him.

He pondered for a moment, "Although I don't know why you suddenly changed your attitude, I understand that he is equally important to your summoning system."

"A mid-level dual-element mage, and still an eighteen or nineteen-year-old student."

"Our Fire Academy will definitely not give up either."

"Instead of us fighting over this here, let Dean Xiao evaluate and decide on this matter."

What do you think?

Hearing Wei Rong's words, the old mentor showed a sarcastic smile on his face.

He looked at Wei Rong and nodded. "Okay, we'll do it your way."

"However, you don't think Dean Xiao would believe that his fire element is more beneficial to our 'Pearl Academy,' do you?"

"Let me tell you, his summoning skills are no worse than his fire skills. Let's go find Dean Xiao now; it's not certain who will win."

After saying that, the old mentor laughed and pulled Lin Yu out of the training ground.

Wei Rong followed with a gloomy face, feeling as if he had shot himself in the foot.

Although he didn't know where his mentor's confidence came from, he was certain that this mentor with a long teaching career wouldn't speak without reason.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

The final outcome is really uncertain.

Mingzhu Academy Main Campus.

The entrance to the principal's office.

Lin Yu was brought here in a daze. He hadn't expected it to escalate to such a big extent. He had originally planned to receive resources from two departments, but if Dean Xiao made the decision, he would probably only be able to receive resources from one department. Thinking of this, he sighed silently.

"Click—"

As the doorknob turned, Wei Rong, who had entered the principal's office a step ahead to report, walked out with a smile.

He looked at his smiling old mentor, his smile vanished, and he said somewhat awkwardly and respectfully, "Dean Xiao invites you in."

The old mentor nodded, smiled at Wei Rong, walked into the principal's office, and then slammed the office door shut.

"Kid, what exactly is your contracted summoned beast?"

"That person actually values him so much?"

Seeing his mentor enter the principal's office, Wei Rong curiously looked Lin Yu up and down and tentatively asked him a question.

Lin Yu's gaze met Wei Rong's. At this point, there was really no harm in telling him.

Just as Lin Yu was about to speak, the door to the principal's office was opened.

The old mentor did not appear; instead, an elderly man who looked quite old but was very robust appeared.

Lin Yu sensed something similar to Old Man Bao from him; this was Dean Xiao, the Water-based Forbidden Spell.

"Xiao Wei, why don't you go in and have some tea with that lady?"

"I've heard what you two have to say. I need to consider this kid myself."

"No matter what decision I make, his presence will not affect the number of 'special admissions' spots this time."

Dean Xiao smiled, but his tone conveyed an undeniable authority that left no room for refusal.

Upon hearing this, Wei Rong could only nod and obediently walked into the principal's office, closing the door behind him.

"Hello Dean Xiao, I'm sorry to bother you."

Lin Yu chuckled and greeted the dean in a very casual and informal manner.

"Alright, it's been a long time since I've seen such an outstanding student as you. But seeing is believing, so I still need to evaluate you myself."

"Come with me."

Dean Xiao's tone was much gentler this time, lacking the previous oppressive feeling.

After saying that, he lifted his foot and walked away into the distance.

Lin Yu quickly followed in his footsteps.
