Chapter 3 Ninja Code

Chapter 3 Ninja Code

early morning.

Shi Xu scooped up a handful of cold water and poured it on her face.

This is a habit passed down from a previous life; the stimulation of cold water can quickly wake one up to prepare for a busy day.

After wiping the moisture off her face, Shi Xu suddenly noticed a black, rhomboid mark on her palm.

"What is this?"

Shi Xu reached out and wiped it, discovering that it seemed to be growing from inside her skin and couldn't be removed.

The prismatic shape reminded him of the Yin Seal he had seen yesterday.

The Yin Seal is used to seal chakra, and the only difference between myself today and yesterday is that I have refined chakra, so this thing is most likely related to chakra.

"Is this also some kind of seal?"

After washing up and changing his clothes, Tokiyo Uzumaki went to the living room to look for anyone else, but he only saw Kushina.

"Kushina-neechan, where did the teacher go?"

Kushina shook her head: "Tsunade-neechan went out with Mito-san early this morning. Is there something you need?"

Toki remembered what Tsunade had said: Kushina was an expert in sealing techniques, so he revealed his palm.

"I'd like you to take a look at this for me."

"This is?"

Kushina frowned slightly, grasped his palm, and brought her face much closer. Toki could almost feel her breath through his fingertips.

After a while, Kushina finally let go of his hand: "I don't know either. Let's go to school first, and ask Grandma Mito later tonight."

"it is good."

Shi Xu nodded and walked with her toward the ninja academy.

Kushina walked slowly so that Toki could remember the way. After all, he was a transfer student and hadn't even enrolled yet, so there was no question of him being late.

On the way, she also talked about some things related to the ninja school, such as the dismissal time, how to solve lunch, what courses were offered, etc. After she finished talking, the two arrived at their destination.

Class A, Grade 1. This is the class Shi Xu will be attending. The average age of the students in the class is five, while Shi Xu is already nine. However, due to years of wandering and malnutrition, he doesn't look much older than the other children.

Shi Xu was also quite helpless, after all, he was just a child, and his ability to obtain food in the chaotic world was really limited. Although things improved after meeting those three people, he still didn't grow taller.

Kushina gently knocked on the door, calling out the teacher who was in the middle of class.

After coming out, Yoshino Yuuki closed the classroom door behind her and asked, "Oh, it's Kushina. What brings you back?"

Before she could speak, Uzumaki Tokio handed over her school application and said, "Hello, teacher. Kushina-neechan brought me to school today."

"I see."

Ji Zhongyou nodded and took the application to examine it.

"Uzumaki Toki... So she's a child of the Uzumaki clan. No wonder Kushina brought her. Her application is fine; it even has the Hokage's stamp."

"Okay, I understand."

Yoshiyuki put away the application and said to Shixu, "Go into the classroom and find a seat. I'll go prepare your textbooks. See you later."

"Thank you, teacher."

Whirlpool Toki nodded, opened the classroom door, and walked to the back of the classroom amidst everyone's attention, choosing an empty seat by the window.

Seeing that the teacher hadn't followed them in, the classroom suddenly became lively, with most people's eyes fixed on Uzumaki Shio, who had just entered, eager to try their luck.

Fortunately, his deskmate was a quiet, unassuming boy wearing a mask who didn't initiate conversation with him.

A little while later, Yoshino Yuuki walked into the classroom carrying several books and waved to Toki: "Come and introduce yourself."

Upon hearing this, Shi Xu immediately walked to the front of the classroom, picked up the chalk, and wrote his name on the blackboard.

"My name is Uzumaki Tokio. I'll be your classmate from now on. Nice to meet you all."

Yoshinobu Yoshinobu added, "Do you have any dreams, hobbies, or things you dislike that would help people understand you better?"

Uzumaki Tokio thought about it seriously: "Hmm... I don't have any dreams yet. What I like is a warm bed, and I hate being hungry and damp, cold environments."

As soon as he finished speaking, Yoshiyuki Yoshino led the applause, and a round of applause rang out in the classroom.

At the back of the classroom, Kakashi Hatake couldn't help but remark, "Such a simple and unpretentious hobby."

In the seat in front of him, Nohara Rin turned around and said softly, "Who doesn't like to linger a little longer in a warm bed?"

Kakashi's gaze shifted slightly, landing on Rin's deskmate: "That's why Obito is late every day."

Upon hearing this, Obito Uchiha immediately turned around and retorted, "I already said, I just met an old lady who needed help on the street!"

"Alright, take your textbooks and go back to your seats. Let's continue the lesson." Yoshino Yuuki's words brought silence back to the classroom.

As soon as Shi Xu returned to his seat, the white-haired boy sitting next to him moved closer and lowered his voice: "My name is Hatake Kakashi, nice to meet you."

Upon hearing the name, Shi Xu tilted his head slightly: "What a coincidence, Kakashi. The Hokage mentioned you to me last night."

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

"Hokage-sama?" Kakashi Hatake was taken aback. He had originally planned to just say his name and end the conversation.

"Well, the Hokage said that since I'm new here, I could try to befriend Kakashi Hatake, Kurenai Yuhi, and Asuma. I suppose he was praising you for being approachable."

Kakashi Hatake silently repeated the three names, and immediately understood, saying, "It's nothing, it's just that the three of us happened to be the top three in the entrance exam."

"However... since the Hokage has said so, you can ask me if you have any questions." He then added.

Shi Xu chuckled softly, "Thank you."

After ending the chat, he flipped through his textbooks and picked one that interested him to start reading.

Shi Xu had never been exposed to ninja knowledge before, and he couldn't understand what Yoshinobu was saying. Rather than wasting time pretending to understand, he might as well read books and learn on his own.

The Ninja Code.

Article 1: No matter how dire the situation, the mission must not be abandoned; the mission must always be the top priority!

Is the mission... like a soldier's duty to obey orders?

In other words, the essence of a ninja is actually that of a soldier.

But what if the task you receive is wrong?

No, there should be a standard for whether a task is wrong. The key question is, who should set this standard? And who should judge it?

Shi Xu flipped through the pages, but couldn't find the answer in this "Ninja Code," so he could only continue reading.

Article 2: Ninjutsu must not be used on unarmed villagers in the village.

This is quite reasonable. If all ninjas followed this rule, then their extraordinary power would be put on hold.

As the saying goes, "a knight-errant uses his martial arts to break the law," so certain constraints are necessary.

Article 3: Keep village secrets completely.

Article 4: Absolutely respect your teammates and never kill them. Emphasize teamwork and avoid reckless actions.

Seeing this, Shi Xu had another question in his mind.

If the order received requires killing or betraying a comrade, that is, if the first and fourth rules conflict, what choice should a ninja make?

Such events were not uncommon in the history of the previous life, which is why Shi Xu had this question.

"That's really strange," Toki couldn't help but murmur.

"What did you say?" Kakashi, who sat next to him, had keen hearing and asked again.

Shi Xu hesitated for a moment before telling Kakashi what she had just thought, but he didn't think much of it and ended the conversation with a single sentence.

"The village would never issue an order to kill your comrades; you're overthinking it."
