Chapter 151 On-set Accident

Chapter 151 On-Set Accident (Part 1)

"Ian, are you alright?"

In his Beverly Hills mansion, Ian sat on the balcony, answering a phone call.

The call was from Kate, who was filming in New Zealand, but she still called to check on things after hearing the news.

Looking at the distant sunlight, Ian smiled slightly: "Don't worry, baby, I'm fine."

Kate said with concern, "But I heard that Carl Media is facing a funding shortage. If you need money, I can help you, although it won't be a lot."

This touched Ian as well.

He said gently, "Don't worry, baby, I haven't gone that far. If you really want to help me, then focus on filming and don't look for other men. I miss you, and I don't want to end our relationship."

Kate chuckled softly, "Of course, you know sometimes I even wish you'd go bankrupt. That way I could keep you as my sugar daddy, and no one would be competing with me for you."

Her words were sincere.

Interesting!

A woman who likes you hopes you go bankrupt, because that way she can support you.

You don't know whether to be grateful to her or hate her.

But Ian knew even better that if that day ever came, he would lose his halo and the charm that attracted her—Kate might not love money, but she couldn't help but love the added charm that money brought to Ian, which is the mindset of most women.

I don't like your money, I just like your charm and dashing style. It's just a pity that a man without money has no charm and dashing style!

Ian laughed and said, "Then I'll have to disappoint you."

Kate asked quietly, "Did Scarlett call you?"

"She's calling, but the line's busy," Ian said softly.

Kate was a little discouraged: "Okay, then I won't bother you anymore."

After hanging up the phone, Ian continued his conversation with Scarlett, offering her comfort for quite some time.

Having appeased the girls' concerns, Ian sat on the balcony, gazing at the setting sun in the distance.

Oh, it’s getting dark.

I like the night.

Looking up at the night sky, he murmured, "The night can conceal much ugliness, it brings people a great sense of security, and so they freely release the ugliness in their hearts."

Inside the room, Jessica Alba and Hailey Berry were eating pastries.

Hearing his leisurely voice, the two girls looked at Ian together: "So, which Hollywood star is going to be in trouble again?"

The naive girls didn't care about Ian's situation, but the main reason was probably the confidence Ian gave them.

They don't understand finance or crises, but they understand Ian Carr!

Nothing can stump Ian Carr, the world's most powerful and legendary journalist!

Ian chuckled: "Not just Hollywood, not just big stars."

As he spoke, he got up and walked towards the bedroom, taking off his pajamas.

Looking at the two beauties on the bed, he smiled slightly: "We still have some time. Once it's completely dark, we'll have to go do Batman."

Hailey Berry looked at him excitedly, pursing her lips slightly: "I hope that won't make your legs go weak!"

As she spoke, she slightly parted her legs, her long, slender legs shimmering under the lights, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Jessica swayed her body, gradually letting the light gauze on her body fall, thus revealing the most captivating scenery...

--------

The nights in Hollywood are quiet and deep, accompanied by countless bursts of laughter.

Walking through the streets of Hollywood, the shadows cast by the streetlights elongated Ian's figure, making him look like a knight in shining armor in the dark.

Ian rarely conducts random interviews at night.

Most of the time, he "picks up news" during the day and focuses on precise strikes at night.

This time, however, Ian was quite relaxed.

The main reason is that he already had enough dirt on him, and his current actions are just a further supplement.

Therefore, it's better to have it, but it doesn't matter if you don't.

We've now arrived at 10202 West Washington Avenue.

Directly opposite is the clearly visible and large logo of Columbia Pictures.

Upon seeing this, Ian pursed his lips.

He first went to a dark corner, wrapped himself in white cloth, and entered an invisible state, whereupon Ian easily blended in.

Because the invisibility drained his eye power too much, Ian deactivated it upon entering Columbia. Anyway, there were few people around, and nobody would pay him any attention.

Ian had intended to go inside Columbia Pictures to see if he could get any information, but he saw the lights of a film studio turn on not far away.

Is someone filming a night scene?

Ian's heart skipped a beat, and he walked over.

Columbia Pictures Studio 4.

The latest novel is first published here!

The crew is still busy filming night scenes.

The title of this film is "Love is Compromise".

It is a comedy film released by Columbia Pictures. Starring Jack Nicholson, Keanu Reeves, Diane Keaton, Amanda Peet, Jon Favreau, and others.

The story is quite interesting. Jack Nicholson plays an older man who has a young and beautiful girlfriend (played by Amanda Pitt). After his girlfriend leaves him, he suddenly falls ill and is taken care of by her mother. He ends up falling in love with her mother and then competes with a doctor played by Keanu Reeves for her affections.

What an amazing plot!

It actually fits the chaotic American view of love quite well!

Ian Carl's greatest strength is that he doesn't deceive himself.

Lewdness is lewdness, why pretend to be a big shot? Having affairs with both mothers and daughters is the pursuit of many men, and this film is just satisfying the psychological needs of these men.

As a romantic comedy, "Love Is Compromise" is not dangerous, but who is Ian Carl?

There are some methods I don't use, not because I don't know how to use them!

Gaskell put him in the cage of the law, hoping he would do business legitimately, but Madoff gave him a reason to break free of the shackles, allowing him to act even more recklessly!

That's why they say that to succeed, one needs the help of benefactors and the encouragement of villains.

At this moment, Jack Nicholson is acting opposite Amanda Pitt, delivering heartfelt lines and displaying the demeanor of a seasoned veteran of the entertainment industry.

Ian glanced coldly at the chandelier in the studio, as threads were released and became entangled around it.

Now that Ian's threads were stronger, he pulled hard, and with a crash, the chandelier fell from the sky, crashing down on Jack Nicholson, causing everyone to gasp.

The thread was pulled to the side, grazing Amanda Pitt's body as it fell, shattering the light bulb and scattering large shards of glass, causing Amanda Pitt to scream in fright.

The sudden turn of events startled everyone.

"Fuck!" Director Nancy Meyers yelled angrily.

Filming was temporarily suspended as everyone rushed over to see Jack Nicholson, realizing he was the real star, while Amanda Pitt was just a newcomer.

Fortunately, the old man was alright, but Amanda whispered, "I'm injured."

Although Ian managed to drop the chandelier to the side, a shard of glass still flew up and cut Amanda's face.

This made Ian feel somewhat apologetic—it wasn't something he had planned; it was an accident.

Fortunately, the injury wasn't serious; it was just a small bloodstain that would disappear in two days at most, without leaving a scar.

The problem is that this will cause big problems with the plot!

Is the second female lead injured on the face?

Director Nancy Meyers exclaimed, "Damn it! Couldn't you have been more careful?"

Few directors have a good temper. Even though it was an accident, Nancy was scolding Amanda, which made the girl feel very wronged.

Nancy looked at her arm and called out, "Makeup artist, see if you can fix this."

The makeup artist ran over to take a look, then shook her head and said, "It's not easy. Could we readjust the angle during the shoot?"

Nancy Meyers roared, "That's impossible! That's a face, a face!!!"
