Chapter 201 Unlucky Guy
Chapter 201 Unlucky Guy
"Pour water on our own people to wake them up. Move the other victims out and put them in those two pickup trucks. When they wake up tomorrow, they'll drive those two trucks back to the city. Then set this place on fire to destroy the evidence."
After Zhang Ailun finished speaking, he ordered the others to go inside and ransack the place, leaving no penny behind, otherwise they wouldn't have enough money for bullets and gun maintenance today.
The Beggars' Sect disciples immediately launched Operation All-Out Attack, digging three feet into the factory and quickly found a small safe. Since they didn't know the password, they couldn't unlock it and had to resort to brute force to pry it open.
Inside, there was an account book and several rolls of 50-yuan banknotes.
"Boss, that's all we have. The rest is some leftover liquor, six unnumbered ghost guns, and a Remington shotgun." The Beggar Clan disciple handed over the looted supplies to Zhang Ailun.
Zhang Ailun counted the banknotes; it was only $4000. He hesitated, wondering if these guys were a bit too poor.
He simply waved his hand and distributed all the money to the Beggars' Sect disciples, instructing them to divide it equally so that everyone would get a share. After all, this was their first mission, and they needed to earn a generous reward, seeing the leader's generosity.
I opened the transaction notebook and glanced at it. It was full of records of human trafficking activities, as well as some expenditures.
A healthy young man can be sold for $2000-$8000 at Heaven's Gate, that's way too cheap.
"Just put this on them too, and they'll take the evidence and call the police themselves. The rest is not our concern."
Zhang Ailun figured that the police officers probably wouldn't do anything big, so they couldn't be relied on at all.
The Beggars' Sect disciples moved the kidnapped people to the pickup truck outside, then poured cold water on two of their own men, who shuddered and instantly woke up.
"Don't kill me! Please!"
"Oh my god! Help! I don't have much money on me! I'm a beggar!!"
The two of them started crying and wailing as soon as they opened their eyes.
Zhang Ailun said irritably, "Save your breath. Even if you beg for mercy, they won't let you go. You'd be better off using this energy to figure out how to get back to the city from the suburbs."
The two were stunned for a moment, then recognized the person standing in front of them as the leader of the sect. After glancing at the corpse of Old Black next to them, they were instantly moved to tears of gratitude.
"Boss, you've come to our rescue! Thank God! These damn black bastards dared to kidnap us and said they were going to sell us out!"
"We were already poor, and they even prey on beggars. They're inhuman."
She was crying and sobbing, looking extremely aggrieved.
"Those who dare to touch my people, I will make them pay the price! Don't tell outsiders about this when you get back, or it will easily cause me trouble."
Zhang Ailun warned, "Otherwise, you can forget about following me anymore!"
"Don't worry, boss! You saved our lives. From now on, we'll do whatever you ask! We'll never cause you any trouble." The Beggar Clan disciple immediately raised his hand to vouch for him.
Loyalty +1!
Zhang Ailun couldn't help but complain that these two guys really had no cultural refinement at all. At least they could have said something like "going through fire and water," or "I'd rather go east than west," or "I'd rather chase a dog than a chicken." The way they said it made no sense at all.
With a wave of his hand, the leader said nonchalantly, "Alright, that's enough about this. Figure out your own way back to the city. Just follow that road outside and you'll reach the highway. Walk another kilometer and you'll find a service station in the suburbs. You can get a taxi for a little money. We still have things to take care of."
The two quickly left the troublesome place and prepared to hire a ride-hailing service online to return to the city. This suburb was just too damn scary.
After cleaning up the scene, they piled Lao Hei's body inside the house, preparing to scatter it at once. The other victims, along with their vehicles, were driven to a nearby grove of trees. Zhang Ailun and his men continued their stakeout, with the armed escort vehicle hidden in the darkness.
Sitting in the car, I took out Lao Hei's phone, checked the contacts, and saw a group chat notification.
Spurs: There are no suitable targets in the suburbs.
Aaron: We just finished one deal and are now working on the second one.
Spurs: Haha! We've got two young guys! We're on our way back now.
Not long after, Sieg spotted a silver-gray Highlander with its lights on through the scope of his sniper rifle.
Zhang Ailun was also sitting in the escort vehicle, and the Beggars' Sect disciples nearby had their guns set up.
"Hey! We're back! WTF, where is everyone? Where's the car? Did they just leave us behind and go have some fun?"
The Highlander stopped outside the factory. The two black men who got out of the car looked at the empty factory compound, somewhat puzzled and confused.
But he didn't think too much about it. He just cursed at these guys for eating all by themselves and not waiting for them. He quickly opened the car door with the others and pulled the two young men out.
Looking at the young man who looked like a dead pig, Zhang Ailun fell into deep thought.
I couldn't help but mutter, "Damn it. Are these two really that unlucky?"
They recognized the two as members of the Beggars' Sect.
So this idiot just ran off, found a ride-hailing service, and got scammed right after. His luck is unbelievable. In the middle of the night in the suburbs, you dare ride in a black car? No memory whatsoever.
That old black guy is so arrogant!
Unbearable, no need to endure.
Zhang Ailun directly instructed Sieg to take action.
A gunshot rang out, and Old Black, who was unloading the load, suddenly had his forehead split open and fell to the ground. Old Black, who was lazily picking leaves nearby, was stunned by what he saw, but soon another gunshot rang out.
Old Hei was so frightened that he lost his mind and started running around frantically, rolling around in the air. He even lost his shoes while running, but luckily he managed to dodge two sniper bullets!
Hidden in the darkness, panting heavily.
Before he could even catch his breath, he suddenly realized why the tree he was leaning against felt so hard and cold.
Immediately afterwards, I heard the clicking sound of bullets being chambered overhead.
Looking up, he saw a hand emerging from the dark bushes, a black gun barrel pressed against his forehead, and a car rearview mirror's ear next to it.
Old Black was horrified. Before he could do anything, the owner of the hand pulled the trigger.
With a thud, Old Hei fell to the ground.
Zhang Ailun couldn't help but complain as he watched Lao Hei cancel his account, "If this guy hadn't run this way, he probably would have lived a few more seconds."
They then ordered someone to quickly clean up the traces of the body, dumped it into the factory building, and woke up the two unlucky old men.
The two slowly awoke, leaning against the pitch-black sky, and glanced once more at the familiar scene. The Grand Master, one hand in his pocket, looked at them with a speechless expression. "Tell me," he said, "how did you two get kidnapped?"
The two were heartbroken and hugged his legs, sobbing uncontrollably, "Boss, we're so sorry!!"
"..."
"We drove onto the highway, hoping to hail a ride-hailing car, but it was too far from the city and too late to find one. We drove a kilometer before finally getting a ride, but when we got in, we discovered the driver was Black! Without saying a word, they kidnapped us!"
The two were on the verge of tears but had no tears left to shed.
"Now you can drive back."
Zhang Ailun was speechless with emotion.
I checked the Highlander's license plate number again. It's not a cloned car; it's a legitimate used car, a 06 model. It's a bit old, but it has no traffic violations. Now that the driver is gone, it's unclaimed. It wouldn't cost much to hire a scalper to register the vehicle's information.
He waved his hand and gave it to them as a means of transportation, saying, "You've actually turned misfortune into blessing."
"Thank you, boss!!"
The two were extremely grateful and quickly got into the Highlander, hastily driving back to the city.
Hopefully they won't be stopped by state police on the way.
Zhang Ailun watched them leave, offering his blessings. He then took out Lao Hei's phone and sent a message to the bread truck.
Secret Box: The kidnapping activity is over. We're going to find a dozen hot girls to have a silver party at the camp.
Aaron: Really? Boss?
Dark Box: When have I ever lied to you? Tell everyone outside to come to the camp for a silver party! We kidnapped a really pretty girl, and I'm in a great mood today! It's on me! We have the best cocoa and leaves here! After the silver party, we'll go to the sauna.
Aaron: It's just a few of us outside! We're going back right away!!
Wouldn't this turn the old black guy into a cuckold?
Zhang Ailun chuckled and ordered the Beggars' Sect disciples to continue their entrapment operation. To conserve ammunition, he also placed several pin-operated grenades along the inevitable route, guaranteeing them bruises and welts.
After waiting for about ten minutes, the van returned, speeding along with the accelerator floored. A loud, raucous rap sound came from inside the van, and it drifted off and crashed into the yard of the camp's factory.
"Bro! We're back!!"
The black men were yelling and scratching their ears and cheeks like baboons in heat.
"Go to hell and have a party, Satan has everything there."
Zhang Ailun watched helplessly as they hurriedly took a step forward.
Old Hei kicked away the steel wire fuse, and the next second... BOOM! The grenade exploded, sending flames shooting into the sky and dirt flying everywhere! Old Hei, who was huddled together, was instantly blown away. Smoke billowed around them.
Patches of blue, patches of purple. Patches of the east, patches of the west.
They cleared the area immediately.
Jimmy's efficient work style is truly impressive!
Zhang Ailun clicked his tongue, immediately got out of the car, and led his men to inspect the area. Old Hei, still catching his breath, was also dragged away and cleaned up. A fire was lit and thrown into the factory; with a roar, it burst into flames.
"Let's go, let's go. Get out of here quickly."
Seeing the fire ignite, Zhang Ailun immediately led his men away from the scene of trouble. He sat in the bulletproof armored vehicle, while the others drove off in the van, which was essentially a freebie.
After receiving the message, Sieg rubbed his sore shoulders, disassembled the sniper rifle and put it in the ammunition box, and sighed, "I'm really getting old. I couldn't take it after only lying down for half an hour. That black man wasn't taken down with one shot either. I wasted several subsonic bullets."
The Beggars' Sect disciple beside him comforted him, saying, "That's enough."
Back in the armored truck, Zhang Ailun praised Sig's sharp marksmanship and then gave him the money they had found in the factory, making Sig feel flattered.
He immediately boasted, "Back when I was serving in the military, I could take down non-professionals with a single shot! But I'm far from that now. I haven't practiced in a long time, and my skills have become rusty."
"Then you'd better pick up those lost skills again; you might need them sometime in the future." After saying that, Zhang Ailun stepped on the gas and drove away from the crime scene, with the van following behind.
En route, I received a message from Manager Reid: "I've cleared the site of personnel; you can come and pick up the goods now! The address is gravel site number 26 in the suburbs. You only have half a day; remember to bring the $7 in cash!"
Burger King: OK!
Zhang Ailun instructed Qibatu and his team to take a van to the city center to change to a sand truck, and to pick up all the prepared supplies there as well. He also sent them their location information.
He then turned the car around and took Sieg ahead to the No. 26 gravel pit.
It took twenty minutes to drive to the sand and gravel site. After parking in front of the gate and looking at the closed gate, Zhang Ailun sent a message to the other party.
Supervisor Reid: You come in through the back door; there's an open blue door there.
Zhang Ailun did as he was told, walked the armored truck around, and sure enough, he saw the open gate.
Instead of rushing in, and to avoid leaving any trace, Zhang Ailun had Sieg get out of the car and remove all the license plates, pack them up and leave them in the car before driving in.
The site was huge, covering an area the size of more than a dozen basketball courts. There were various excavation and mixing facilities, piles of clay powder, and flat buildings.
A pickup truck was parked nearby. Seeing them arrive, it immediately started the engine, flashed its lights a few times to attract attention.
Zhang Ailun responded by honking his horn.
Manager Reid hesitated before getting out of the car, a gun in his hand, and walked over, shouting, "Hey! Is this Burger King?"
Zhang Ailun simply got out of the car with Sieg and greeted him, "Hey buddy, that's me."
"Did you bring the money?" Supervisor Red looked at them suspiciously, then glanced at the armed escort vehicle behind them, and asked in surprise, "Are you in the arms business? Are you running an armed nation?"
"You don't need to ask so many questions. Who says only gun shops have armored trucks? There are plenty of arms dealers out there," Zhang Ailun replied.
"Count it yourself, the money's all in here." Zhang Ailun tossed him the briefcase containing the cash. "The goods I ordered are all here too, right? Why is there nobody here at night? Aren't you afraid someone will steal your things?"
Manager Reid hurriedly took the briefcase and began to count the contents. The amount was correct, and his expression softened considerably.
Then he complained, "Buddy, if I weren't really short of money, I would never have secretly sold these raw materials to you. This is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, and I only sold it for seventy thousand! I'm practically losing money!"
"I've already drugged and knocked him out. Don't worry!"
"Come on, buddy. There are countless people embezzling in your company, from top to bottom. One more or one less won't make a difference."
Zhang Ailun didn't care about his complaints at all. In the resource business, how many people who sell materials by the ton wouldn't embezzle money?
They take a little from this site today, and a little from that site tomorrow, and no one will notice. The workers take it, the supervisors take it, the auditors take it.
If they don't take it, how will they provide a good life for their families? Just for that meager fixed salary?
Anything that is taken from capitalists is not considered taking advantage of them.
It's just that those unlucky guys who were drugged this time are really pitiful.
"Believe me, with this money, you can get your life back on track quickly! The premise is that you don't go back to the casinos to throw money away, otherwise no matter how much money you have, it won't be enough to keep you from losing it all," Zhang Ailun advised, seeing his regret.
"Of course I won't go again." Manager Reid was nonchalant about what he said, but whether he listened or not was anyone's guess; a gambler's words were never reliable.
He added, "All the materials you need are here. The blue bucket contains aluminum powder, the red bucket contains ammonium nitrate, the black bucket contains softened water, the bags contain prepared clay powder, and the other pits contain excavated clay and rare mineral resources, which are useless to you..."
Zhang Ailun looked at the plastic buckets of various colors, which were labeled with black skulls and red exclamation marks!
Upon closer inspection, they were all dangerous items.
The raw materials alone from site number 26 could be made into clay explosives that could blow up every bank in Los Angeles, so it's no wonder it's under strict control.
But most people, even if they have the ingredients right in front of them, won't mix them according to the proportions. If they do it wrong, they might just kill themselves!
Zhang Ailun didn't dare to act rashly. After all, he didn't know what proportion to mix the clay explosives, and Sieg had only learned how to dismantle and use explosives. He wasn't a professional in making them, so he decided to wait patiently for the professionals from his demolition team to arrive.
While waiting, I chatted with Supervisor Reid for a few more minutes. He also seemed a bit puzzled, "How are you going to move the goods? There's not enough space in just one armored truck. Are there any other people coming?"
"If you're scared, you can leave first." Zhang Ailun smiled. "I promise I won't take everything out of here."
"I think I'll stay here." Manager Reid was relieved to see that he was trustworthy and that his goal was indeed the raw materials, not to invite trouble.
