Ultraman: I am really just a human.

Chapter 379 The Mysterious Forest, Gaim

"Who?"

Xia Chuan turned around instantly, but only had time to see the woman's melancholy face before the surrounding space suddenly changed.

The light was distorted and blurred, instantly transforming the battlefield into a fantastical, unknown forest.

The colors are vibrant yet very blurry, as if the image saturation has been increased while a water glass filter has been added.

A light mist hung in the air among the trees, and strangely shaped and oddly colored plants were everywhere. Purple-red fruits, very similar to dragon fruit, hung from the vines that entwined the trees.

"Those without destiny..."

A woman's voice rang out softly, but after a white figure flashed by, there was no further movement.

Looking through the trees, Xia Chuan suddenly realized that his senses were being severely suppressed. He was met with great rejection after only a short while, and his data clone could hardly be maintained.

The world connected by magic gems...

"Is this the Helheim Forest?"

Xia Chuan looked around, his gaze shifting to a microscopic level.

These mists are all plant spores, and one can vaguely sense a vast amount of life energy flowing within them.

The most crucial thing is these strange fruits on the tree.

What I see here is very much like the Helheim Forest from Kamen Rider Gaim.

A mysterious place where the destruction of the world has yielded fruit.

Xia Chuan closed his eyes slightly, his brows furrowing as he was unable to obtain any data or information from the current world.

Every Knight dungeon has something similar to Earth's library, where you can access some information, but this place is completely different.

This space is either independent of the Knight World, or it already has a controller, or it possesses its own independent consciousness.

If dungeons also have levels, the level here is likely to exceed level seven.

The protagonist of "Gaim," Kouta Kazuraba, ate the Golden Fruit and became the god "Origin Man." That fruit was actually formed when the Heim Forest eroded the spacetime of "Gaim," giving him the power to change the world at will.

The world chosen by Heim Forest seems to be able to produce only one golden fruit, but the heroine in "Armor" did gain divine power and become the "Daughter of Origin".

If I'm not mistaken, the woman in silver just now should be the "Daughter of Origin," but she's restricted by the Forest of Helheim.

He didn't know much about the specific plot, such as why a golden fruit could be used twice, but judging from this, the level of this forest was obviously much higher than that of the Knight's Dungeon.

"sand."

Xia Chuan stepped forward and casually plucked a fruit.

It looks like a dragon fruit on the outside, but the flesh inside is similar to lychee. It has a faint sweet smell, and combined with the illusory scenery around it, it's as if some kind of magical voice is telling him to eat it.

This attraction stems from the genetic level, but it doesn't have a significant impact on him.

Anyone with a slightly stronger will can resist it, not to mention that his genes are not weak either.

Although he is not at the god level, his physique has reached level 7.5. From a genetic point of view, he is no longer human, as evidenced by the fact that his life level is classified as level C on the panel.

Most of the monsters that appeared on Earth before were only Class C.

According to the panel data, if we disregard the Star of Light technology and judge solely by physical data, Lipia (Ultraman) after fusing with Shinji Kaminaga would still only be classified as a B-rank.

"It looks delicious."

Xia Chuan completely peeled off the fruit's outer shell, revealing the tender, juicy, and translucent flesh inside.

Putting aside the allure of its magic, the fruit itself is indeed beneficial to the evolution of life and poses no threat to him.

Since it's a data clone, eating it probably won't have much of an effect.

After looking around again, Xia Chuan tentatively took a bite.

The taste was indeed good, but immediately afterwards, a fierce life energy eroded Xia Chuan's entire body, and a massive amount of data followed.

This thing can cause drastic changes in the genetic structure of organisms that eat the fruit, allowing them to acquire new evolutionary power and thus mutate into a vassal race of this forest.

"An outsider?"

Xia Chuan sensed the strange man wandering in the Helheim Forest.

Most of them were the same Legion monsters we'd seen before.

Under normal circumstances, he would become one of these oddballs, or become a powerful enough overlord or even a boss-level alien being, surpassing the lowly soldiers.

"Sizzle!"

A subtle electric current surged through Xia Chuan's body, and vines and leaves continuously sprouted from his skin. However, the next moment, bursts of intense light erupted, turning all the alien life energy into nothingness.

"Whoosh!"

After the light subsided, Xia Chuan's body returned to normal, and his senses and control over the aliens completely disappeared.

His life level was too high, completely exceeding the limits of the fruit's transformation.

pity.

Xia Chuan regretfully threw away the fruit pit.

If this clone could be transformed into an alien, he should be able to stay for a long time, just like those strange people who inhabit the forest.

The forest is highly dangerous; he needs more information.

But there's not much time left...

"Where is this place?"

A soft shout suddenly came from behind.

It turned out that a spatial rift, zipped open, had appeared in the woods at some point. A young man carrying a knight's belt groped his way in, his half-length yellow-streaked hair framing a curious look around.

Despite being in a foreign land, the young man remained calm. Before long, his eyes were drawn to the fruit on the tree, and he couldn't help but reach out and pick one.

Kuzuha Kōta?

Looking at the young man with the face of a protagonist, Xia Chuan's expression changed slightly. However, the other party seemed unable to resist the temptation of the fruit and fell into a daze, about to put the fruit to his mouth.

What happened?

The protagonist is about to mutate into a monster right from the start?

If he's not mistaken, Gaim transforms into the "Lock Seed" after turning the Devil Fruit into a weapon to fight.

But the person in front of me doesn't seem like someone who can become a knight at all.

The script is off; he's just a supporting character?

Xia Chuan's thoughts were racing.

Speaking of which, the belt used by Gaim is indeed a man-made, mass-produced type called "Sengoku Driver," and it's not unique to the protagonist, Kouta Kazunari.

Even the original belt doesn't seem to belong to the protagonist. It was picked up by the protagonist, who also stumbled into the Heim Forest after his friend, who was carrying the Sengoku Driver, had an accident there.

This person...

Xia Chuan's gaze shifted to the badge printed on the young man's jacket, where the word "Gaim" could be clearly seen in the center.

Is this guy the extra who gives the main character equipment?

"If I were you, I wouldn't eat that stuff."

Xia Chuan shook his head and spoke, startling the young man awake.

Whether it's a minor role or something else, he can't just stand by and do nothing.

"Who are you?" The young man snapped out of his daze, glanced at the fruit emitting a captivating fragrance near his lips, and, with a bead of cold sweat, found Xia Chuan's figure. "These fruits are...?"

"The fruit is a good thing, but if you eat it, you'll most likely turn into a mindless monster."

Xia Chuan waved his hand and used his telekinetic power to throw the young man back into the spatial rift.

The other side should be the world of "Gaim," but he has no interest in checking it out for the time being.

It's more important to seize the time and explore the Helheim Forest.

This is the core of the Gaim/Armor world.

"Swish!"

Perhaps disturbing the aliens in the forest, a large number of wandering monsters rushed towards Xia Chuan from all directions, including many evolved beings with wings.

Its transparent, dragonfly-like wings flapped rapidly, creating a loud, strange sound as it darted among the treetops, as if an army was sweeping in from all directions, the buzzing incessant.

Not only that, the plants in the forest also began to undergo strange changes, and faint, mournful echoes could be heard.

"They have absolutely no sense of hospitality."

Xia Chuan turned to face the foreigners who were surrounding him.

It wasn't just spacetime repulsion; even the forest's vassal races came out.

This display of force is truly intimidating.

"Bang bang bang!"

Xia Chuan's gaze swept across the area, first sending all the aliens who rushed close flying backward, followed by a burst of raging flames around them.

Supernatural fire.

As the Kuuga card rotated and automatically inserted into the camera driver, Natsukawa, bathed in the twisted flames, took the initiative to face the alien legion, and pushed his hand to close the belt.

"Transform!"

"call!"

Even under intense suppression, Xia Chuan's psychic power could still cover a range of several meters around him. Especially after transforming, with a nearly 10-fold increase, any aliens who entered the range, whether they were grunts or evolved forms, were all tragically engulfed and burned.

The mournful echoes in the forest were completely replaced by pitiful screams.

However, this commotion did not last long. After one round of attacks, the remaining aliens suddenly disappeared without a trace, as if they had never existed, and the forest returned to its deathly silence.

Knight Xia Chuan walked across the flaming debris and continued to sense his surroundings with his amplified psychic powers.

No higher-level outsiders appeared, but the feeling of being secretly watched still lingered.

"Um?"

"S-Kora me?!"

As the smoke cleared, a fully equipped hazmat suit squad unexpectedly appeared in Xia Chuan's field of vision. As if they had seen something terrifying, they trembled and retreated under Xia Chuan's gaze until RX walked out from the other side and they resumed their formation.

This World Alliance exploration team?
