Ultraman: I am really just a human.

Chapter 622 God and "God"

Chapter 622 God and "God"

"Da da!"

In the bridges and tunnels vacated due to the fascination with the Maya, Xincheng walked heavily, his mind filled with ever-growing warnings of danger.

The other person was avoiding the crowd, but he didn't want to implicate ordinary people either.

"Weren't the Kirieloids wiped out by Tiga? How come there are still so many?" Shinjo asked nervously. "The Knights don't seem to have noticed this area? Should we contact them?"

He's dealt with aliens quite a few times with the GUTS team, but he's never faced one alone.

Being too perceptive at a time like this doesn't seem like a good thing; he knew very well that he was no match for his opponent.

and……

"What the hell are these guys?" Shinjo was on the verge of tears.

Besides the gray-robed man, countless transparent humanoid creatures were floating in mid-air, so many that he dared not even look at them.

A ghost?

He's terrified of ghosts.

He had fought against the Kirieloids before, but that was while piloting a fighter jet. The monsterized Kirieloids weren't nearly as terrifying.

"I'm surrounded," Shin-chan said, his steps slowing. "Why? I don't think I did anything."

[When you become Ultraman, you're destined to offend these guys, but don't worry, they're just a bunch of trash, and this is a good training opportunity for you.]

Xia Chuan didn't have a good impression of these Kirieloids.

Having existed on Earth for an unknown amount of time as a spiritual life form, it claims to be a god capable of controlling the fate of humanity. However, after the appearance of the monsters, it did nothing but try to suppress Tiga and is extremely dissatisfied with Tiga becoming a human's faith.

He has been hacking into the TPC computer system these past few days and has studied a lot of Victory Team archives.

The discovery of the Kyrierods suggests that their primary purpose may be human faith; they seem to want to use human faith to complete some kind of ritual, but at the same time have no intention of helping humanity.

Faith is forged in suffering.

These guys were already furious about Tiga's interference, and clearly couldn't tolerate the appearance of a second Ultraman.

"Garbage? Training?" Shinjo's mind went blank. "Using this as training?"

He'd never heard of training to the point of risking his life.

And should we start with hell difficulty?

He doesn't think the Kirieloids are trash.

"Can I transform? Not that big, like a miniature Ultraman Tiga..."

"Okay, that's enough for now."

Several gray-robed figures blocked Xincheng's path. The leader was a woman, whose long legs were visible through the gaps in her robes, and it seemed that she was not wearing anything underneath.

"Snapped!"

Xincheng slapped himself, stopping his wild thoughts: "What do you want to do?"

"We meant no harm."

The witch Keiko Onuma chuckled and stepped forward, her leather boots pounding the ground as if stepping into the heart of the new city, and the pressure increased once again.

These guys are a bunch of lunatics.

The last one who claimed to be a prophet inexplicably destroyed several city blocks, and he got angry just because he felt that Tiga shouldn't have appeared.

"You are qualified to be the savior, Niijo Zeff," the witch said, lifting Niijo's chin with a finger, "provided you can pass the test of us Kirieloids and then eliminate Ultraman Tiga..."

"Stop joking!"

After receiving no response from Xia Chuan, Xin Cheng abandoned any hope of success, shook off the witch's arm, and swiftly drew his gun to aim.

"Are you trying to pull that Kirieloid god trick again? What do you take humans for?"

"Shooting won't do you any good," the witch chuckled. "This body is already dead, and besides..."

"Bang!"

Xincheng had just pulled the trigger when he was blasted away by an invisible shockwave.

The mind can process what it wants, but the body can't keep up.

Fortunately, it was quite resilient and didn't suffer any serious injury, just intense pain.

"Whoosh!"

Several more mental waves lashed out like whips, the attack even more ferocious.

Xincheng's expression changed drastically, his mind went blank, and this time his body instinctively rolled to avoid it.

Surprisingly, the training did produce results.

In the blink of an eye, he was whipping people with ease.

"Don't move!"

The witch ignored the bitterness on Xincheng's face and, with a frown, summoned a dozen spiritual entities to float in the air and surround Xincheng.

"Behave yourself!"

"Snapped!"

Shin-jou felt goosebumps all over his body. Faced with a spirit that was humanoid but completely devoid of human features, his abilities seemed to be restrained.

"We are also doing this to help humanity," the witch said coldly. "Destroying a few monsters like Tiga can't change the fate of destruction. Only the god Kirieloid can save the world, and you are our chosen agent. We can make you the true savior!"

"Even if destruction is inevitable, it's humanity's own business. Who do you guys think you are? A bunch of idiots who want to enslave humanity, yet you keep talking about saving the world!"

Xin Cheng was not swayed. He scoffed and suddenly bent over, sprinting at high speed to break through the surrounding spiritual blockade.

Why was he chosen? Isn't it because he gained Ultraman's power?

They just wanted to turn him into a puppet.

"Bang--!"

Suddenly, with a loud bang, Xincheng was sent flying back at an even faster speed, and was stomped to the ground by the witch.

Near the exit, a spiritual entity merged together, sealing off the tunnel space like a barrier.

Or not.

Xincheng felt uncomfortable and closed his eyes.

However, after only a short battle, he felt like he was drowning and went out of sync again.

"What a pity," the witch said expressionlessly, looking down at him. "It seems you're just as stubborn as Tiga."

"Alright, Keiko," the gray-robed man urged, "Someone's coming, let's finish this quickly!"

"This guy could have been the vessel for the god Kirieloid, tsk..."

"Ultraman's power must have something to contain it. Find that thing and destroy it, so that he will never be able to transform again."

"Hmm!"

Xincheng felt the ravages of the leather boots, experiencing not only pain but also humiliation.

Synchronization began to improve, but extremely slowly.

This level of humiliation seems far from sufficient.

Or rather, if you're going in the wrong direction, anger alone won't help.

"Never mind, I'll do it."

Xia Chuan shook his head inwardly, sensing the Knights approaching rapidly from the outside world, and with a flash of his eyes, he controlled Xin Cheng's body.

Synchronization is only possible when positive emotions are high, just like when he first descended upon the instance, and this guy is quite short-lived.

"Whoosh!"

When "New City" opened her eyes again, her eyes briefly turned red. The gray-robed men who were about to search for the transformation device twitched violently between their brows. Before they could understand what was happening, they were thrown away by a tremendous force along with the witch.

"call--!"

Supernatural flames spread along the bodies of the group, and even the surrounding spiritual entities seemed unable to avoid being harmed, letting out painful screams.

"ah!!!"

"Damn it, you just wait and see! Offending us Kirieloids will not end well!"

"Crack!"

The flames came and went quickly, leaving only white, human-shaped marks on the tunnel walls and a few spots on the ground, vaguely showing signs of struggle.

"Is that all?"

Xincheng swallowed hard, feeling a strong sense of unreality.

The gray-robed witch who had just been ravaging him was now nothing but ashes.

It seems to have really turned into garbage.

So just how useless is he? Theoretically, he should be able to use this power.

"Mr. Shinjo!"

Asami Hiroko led the team into the tunnel and immediately spotted Shinjo standing there motionless.

"What's going on? What are these? Are there aliens?"

"It's nothing," Shinjo forced a smile and turned around, "I'm training."

"what?"

Hiroko Asami was slightly taken aback.

She seemed to sense the power of the Decade.

That's too extravagant. For the Cavaliers, 100 exchange points per session is just used for training like that?

"Mr. Shinjo, you should still be careful," Hiroko Asami warned, letting out a sigh of relief. "Another alien team from our world is here too, and those guys are probably eyeing you as well."
