Demigod Mage in America

Chapter 83 You're even better than Tyson

Outside an abandoned factory in East Harlem.

A black minivan was parked in the middle of the road. David was driving, and Ryan and Number One were in the back seat.

He asked Catherine yesterday where there was a quick way to make money.

So the policewoman pointed him in the right direction, for example, there was one in the factory right in front of them.

The van belonged to Murphy, and after his death, everything under his name naturally belonged to Ryan.

Cars and houses were all there, but unfortunately, this guy had no money in his account, only goods, which Renn didn't like, so he simply burned them all.

However, he kept the car and the bar, and gave them to David to drive.

Ryan was wearing a blue parka, black cargo pants, and black Doc Martens. With his face, no one would believe he was a gang member, but some might believe he was the boss's kid.

The number one person next to him was wearing a military green trench coat, his strong muscles were hidden by the coat and could not be seen.

His previous bald head was given some hair implanted by Ryan to cover his identity, and now it has become a buzz cut.

Add to that pair of sunglasses, and he looks really cool, without saying a word.

If we can ignore the fact that it has to hunch its neck because it's so tall.

The master and servants both had the same posture: hands in their pockets, seemingly oblivious to the concept of an opponent.

"Take it easy on me later, don't kill or cripple anyone," Renn said to Number One, his eyes fixed on the abandoned factory ahead.

David, who was driving, turned around, pointed to his nose, and said, "Huh? Me?"

Renn glanced at him disdainfully and said, "You think you can just go up there and get killed without even moving?"

He didn't enhance David's physical strength; his current defense is still that of an ordinary person, at most he's a bit more agile and a little faster than a regular bullet.

Upon hearing this, David shrank back. Wade had repeatedly asked him why he treated Ryan with such respect.

Because he didn't get approval, he could only portray Ryan as the young master of a wealthy family and claim that Ryan owned half of the bar.

After receiving this information, Wade never asked about it again.

"How much do you know about this place?" Ryan tapped the back of the chair, asking David.

"Not too many. Murphy has been here a few times before, and every time he goes back he brags about it, saying that big shots come here to have fun."

Ryan tapped faster: "How big?"

He's here to make money. Big shots are great, because the more big shots there are, the more money there is.

However, if possible, Rennes would prefer to secure a continuous supply.

Selling magical items is actually the best option, just like he did with the Dean and Sam brothers.

However, doing this could easily expose oneself. It would be fine if it were exposed to ordinary people, since the two that Renn gave them were just toy-level items.

If we offer something better, there's a possibility that others might be eyeing it.

"I heard they mainly play fighting games inside, and it's a membership-only system; you can't get in without connections." David paused, then added, "Boss, have you found someone you know?"

Ryan paused slightly, his hand that had been stroking his chin, before casually saying, "Of course, I've definitely arranged everything."

What?! They actually need to recommend someone?! Renn hadn't expected this at all.

But whatever, he thought, I can just use magic to get by.

Regarding other things inside, David said he didn't know either. He only knew about these things because Murphy often bragged about them to his underlings, as if getting inside was some kind of honor.

"Let's go, let's go take a look." Ryan pushed open the car door and slid out, looking around.

Catherine had told him that it was a brewery that had been abandoned for nearly a century.

It is said to have been built in 1853, or in other words, in the 19th century or mid-Qing Dynasty, but was later abandoned for some reason and has not been used since.

The outer perimeter is the most distinctive, featuring the red brick structure characteristic of that era. Its appearance is rounded and lacks sharp angles, making it look like a small castle.

There was no one around, and the emptiness was desolate.

David went to park the car, while Ryan led Number One toward the gate.

Catherine said this was an underground boxing ring, and told Ryan that he was allowed to bet on himself, but match-fixing was prohibited.

Soon, David, having parked the car, came to Ryan's side, and the three of them then headed toward the factory.

Ryan walked ahead, Number One was a step behind, and David was last.

The factory gates were wide open, and there wasn't a soul in sight.

"Boss, this..." David looked troubled. This place didn't look like a place where anyone lived.

Ryan smiled and looked at the giant copper pot in the center of the brewery.

The entrance is right there, but how do you get there? Renn looked towards the second floor. Most people would go up to the second floor and take the slide down.

He could have taken an easier route, but looking at the dense network of surveillance cameras around him, Ryan thought about it and decided against it, choosing instead to stick to the normal route.

He led two attendants and obediently walked to the second floor, then used a slide to reach the middle of the cauldron, lowered the rope, and slid into the cauldron.

The original production tools were now being modified into roads leading to the underground boxing ring.

There is a very thick metal door panel in the center of the boiler, which cannot be easily moved without three to five adult men.

"Go move it." Renn said calmly. There were no surveillance cameras here, so there was no need for him to pretend.

David was about to step forward when he was pushed aside by Number One next to him. Looking at the other person's figure, who was half a head taller than him, he silently took a half step back.

But in her heart she was thinking that this man had appeared next to the boss at some point, and hadn't said a word the whole way, and she wondered who he was putting on an act for.

But the next moment, his right hand, which he was about to scratch, stopped in mid-air.

Because in front of him, Number One lifted the metal plate with one finger, revealing the metal steps underneath.

The steps are not small, about the same size as a subway entrance, and large enough for several people to walk side by side.

This power... David's Adam's apple bobbed involuntarily.

One punch from him and he'd be headed straight to the hospital, right? Where did the boss find this monster?

Tyson's punch had the force of 800KG, you're even more awesome than Tyson.

"Let's go down and take a look." Ryan took the lead and went down the stairs, not worried at all about a sudden attack.

As soon as I went down the stairs, the view suddenly opened up before me.

Unlike the darkness above, the area below was brightly lit.

Because a row of spotlights was shining towards the entrance, it was impossible to see what was below.

As soon as David entered, he heard a series of hurried footsteps, but because the light was too bright, he couldn't see what was happening on the other side.

"Who are you people?"

He heard someone say that, and used his right hand to shield his eyes from the bright light, which allowed him to barely make out that there were five people coming.

The five men looked tense and were holding riot control weapons such as steel forks.

The reason for their nervousness was, of course, Number One's bulging chest; calling him a bear would be an understatement.

"I'd like to try my hand here, but I don't know how to get involved."

As soon as Ryan finished speaking, David noticed that the person opposite him had become wary.

"What are you talking about? I don't understand. This is a private club. If you don't have an invitation, please leave, or we will expel you."
