Super God Academy: Kabuto

Lin Yu examined the three brand-new suits of armor laid out side by side on the workbench. They were based on a silver-gray base, with streamlined armor inlaid with energy patterns of different colors. One suit shimmered with a sea-blue luster, another pulsed with crimson light, and the third settled in an earthy brownish-yellow. Although replicas made from existing Earth materials, the craftsmanship, enhanced by the Celestial King's technology, was exquisite, and the subtly flowing energy indicated they were no ordinary items.

"It looks pretty good," Lin Yu commented.

He Xi leaned back lazily in her chair, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. "Next up is the practical test. Why don't you... try it on yourself and see how it works? That way, the data collection will be the most accurate."

Lin Yu immediately took a half step back, waving his hand dismissively, "There's no need for that. I don't want to be your guinea pig." He pointed out the window towards Juxia City, "Just hand it over to Dukao and his team, let their soldiers test it. We'll just wait to receive the combat data report."

"That makes sense." He Xi thought about it and agreed, so she stopped insisting. Her body went limp, and she slumped back onto the sofa like a boneless cat, continuing to enjoy her leisurely time.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

"I'll go open the door," Lin Yu said, walking towards the door.

As soon as he opened the door, a figure carrying a delicate fragrance rushed over and hugged him tightly.

"Brother! I'm back!" Qi Lin looked up, her face beaming with a bright smile.

Lin Yu was somewhat surprised, but he still caught his younger sister steadily and ruffled her hair: "Qilin? Why did you suddenly come back? Did General Dukao approve your leave?"

"Mmm!" Qi Lin nodded vigorously, taking Lin Yu's arm. "Training is over, and I have a short break. I just wanted to come back and see you!"

She pulled Lin Yu into the living room, and immediately spotted the languid yet dazzling silver-haired beauty on the sofa. Her eyes lit up instantly: "Sister Xiaoxi! What are you doing here?"

He Xi turned around at the sound of her voice, saw Qi Lin, and smiled gently: "Oh, it's little Qi Lin who's back? Training at the Super Soldier Squad must be tough, right? How have you been lately?"

"I'm fine! Training is tiring, but I can feel myself getting stronger every day!" Qi Lin happily walked over and sat down next to He Xi, and the two women immediately huddled together.

Lin Yu looked at the little guy thoughtfully and muttered to himself, "You mean... where exactly is 'he'? He Xi and Qi Lin reluctantly stopped their conversation and hurried to the restaurant. Looking at the table full of colorful and fragrant dishes, Qi Lin's eyes lit up: "Wow! Sweet and sour pork ribs, braised prawns... all my favorites! Thank you, brother!"

"Let's eat first," Lin Yu said with a smile as he served them rice.

After a pleasant dinner, Lin Yu looked at He Xi and said casually, "Give the things to Qi Lin. Du Kao specifically asked Qi Lin to come back; besides the vacation, wasn't that the main purpose?"

He Xi elegantly wiped her mouth and nodded, "Okay." She stood up, and a faint light flashed in her hand, revealing the three uniquely shaped summoning devices, as well as the black crystal that recorded the manufacturing method and usage. She pushed these items in front of Qi Lin.

The afternoon sun was just right, elongating the shadows of the three of them. They temporarily set aside the cosmic-level conflict and blended into the everyday life and atmosphere of the ordinary street.
