Courtyard House: The Cultivation System Takes Me Flying

After achieving peace of mind and returning to gentleness throughout the ages, Chang'an, the ancient capital, finally completed the final step of its Daoist sublimation—an eternal closed loop, with no difference between beginning and end.

The so-called eternal closed loop refers to the original intention, protection, reunion, peace, warmth, truth, and gentleness of the homeland. All the principles are interconnected, circulating endlessly, without beginning or end, without inside or outside, without before or after, without birth or death, forming a perfect and flawless eternal circle. The original intention is the final chapter, and the final chapter is the original intention; protection is reunion, and reunion is protection; peace is warmth, and warmth is peace; truth is gentleness, and gentleness is truth.

The so-called "undifferentiated beginning and end" means that time no longer has a sequence, years no longer have an ancient or modern era, stories no longer have a beginning and an end, and existence no longer has a past and a future. The mundane courtyard of the past and the eternal home of today are the same; the chaotic world of demons of the past and the peaceful world of today are the same realm; the initial journey of the past and the eternal perfection of today are the same moment.

The beginning is the end, and the end is the beginning.

The past is the present, and the present is the future;

The mundane is the eternal, and the eternal is the mundane;

The family is the world, and the world is the family.

Within the eternal closed loop, all distinctions vanish, all boundaries disappear, and all concepts merge. Chang'an is no longer a journey "from the mundane to the eternal," but rather it has always been so, always has been so, and will always be so. It has never experienced construction, never experienced battle, never experienced change, never experienced growth, because within the closed loop, all processes become part of eternity, and all time is frozen in a perfect moment.

Qin Lintian's figure became the center of the eternal closed loop. He was both the mortal who initially set out to protect his original aspirations and the guardian who ultimately returned to the true nature of the Dao; both the warrior who fought against evil and the family member who enjoyed peaceful joy; both the bearer of the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth and the ordinary person with the warmth of home. He has no coming and no going, no beginning and no end, no past and no present; he is the closed loop itself, he is eternity itself, he is Chang'an itself.

He stands in the humble courtyard where his initial aspirations were born, and he stands in the eternal, perfect home, in the same place; he makes a vow to protect his family, and he achieves the perfect reunion for all eternity, in the same instant; he purifies the world of evil, and he enjoys the tranquility of the world, in the same state of mind. There is no distinction of precedence, no difference of process, no trace of growth, only a perfect closed loop, only an indistinguishable beginning and end.

Everyone in the community, within the eternal closed loop, merges with their original selves. Qin Huairu is both a gentle and resilient woman in the mortal world and a tender and peaceful family member in the eternal world; He Yuzhu is both an ordinary person struggling to make a living in the mortal world and a warm and comforting cook in the eternal world; Jia Zhangshi, Jia Dongxu, Yan Bugui, and Liu Haizhong are both elders who have experienced hardships in the mortal world and leisurely and peaceful old people in the eternal world; the children are both innocent and naive children in the mortal world and childlike and carefree figures in the eternal world.

They never experienced hardship, turmoil, separation, or disturbance, because within their closed circle, all obstacles were melted away by warmth, all storms were dispelled by tranquility, and all the past was covered by fulfillment. From the very beginning, they were in reunion, in stability, in peace, and in eternity.

All spirits and ethereal beings are integrated into the eternal cycle. Untainted by demonic energy, undisturbed by chaos, and unblemished by time, they are born with one heart with their home, one with warmth, and one with eternity. The White Jade Spirit is the guardian light, the Spirit Stream Spirit is the gentle water, the Breeze Bell Spirit is the sound of tranquil joy, the Spirit Tree Spirit is the aura of longevity and blessings, and the Everlasting Lamp Spirit is the warm fire—constant and unchanging.

Every blade of grass, every wisp of wind, every drop of water, every lamp, every pavilion, every spring, every tree in our home is in an eternal cycle, without beginning or end. The Morning Dew Garden has never been sown, never grown, never blossomed, never borne fruit, yet its spiritual herbs are forever covered in dew, and its spiritual flowers are forever in bloom; the Spirit Stream has never had a source, never flowed, never dried up, yet its waters are forever clear and its tinkling sounds; the Tranquil Joy Pavilion has never been built, never repaired, never changed, yet its wind chimes forever ring softly, peaceful and serene; the Sea of ​​Eternal Lights has never been lit, never brightened, never extinguished, yet its soft light is forever warm, shining day and night.

The eternal closed loop is not a cycle of repetition, but a perfect and permanent state;

There is no difference between beginning and end; it is not a state of chaos and indistinguishability, but rather an inherent unity.

Within this perfect closed loop

There is no "past," because the past is the present;

There is no "later," because the later is the present.

There are no "ifs," because everything is already perfect;

There is no "regret," because the beginning and the end are never different.

Heaven and earth, all things, the mortals of the three continents, rivers, seas, mountains, forests, and the Milky Way, are all incorporated into the eternal loop of Chang'an. The common people have never experienced famine, war, or hardship; they are born into peace and prosperity, into harmony and love, into lasting happiness. The mountains, rivers, and vegetation have never experienced withering or decay; they are born into evergreen vitality and vibrant beauty. The sun, moon, and stars have never experienced rising or falling, into light and darkness; they are born into radiance and peace, into eternal illumination.

The whole world is in an eternal closed loop, with no difference between beginning and end, perfect and flawless, peaceful and undisturbed, and with warmth that never dissipates.

Qin Lintian stood at the center of the eternal closed loop, dressed in white, his gaze gentle as he surveyed his surroundings. Within the loop, the scenery remained unchanged, his family remained unchanged, all spirits remained unchanged, heaven and earth remained unchanged, his initial heart remained unchanged, and the final chapter remained unchanged. He smiled slightly; this smile was the beginning, the end, eternity, and Chang'an.

The eternal closed loop is complete, and the beginning and end are indistinguishable.

There are no more stories to write.

No more years can continue.

There is no higher realm to advance to.

There is no perfection that can surpass.

Because this is the ultimate goal.

That's the finish line.

It is eternal.

That is the ultimate, most perfect, and most flawless truth of Chang'an throughout the ages.
