Loving You: A Blessing or a Curse?

At the door, a beautiful woman who looks to be in her mid-twenties rests on the wall with an impatient expression on her face. She has her hair styled in a straight, shoulder length bob parted down the middle and her facial features are very similar to that of the artist inside.

"What do you guys do in that room anyways, acting all secretive?" Han Lili murmurs unhappily as she stretches her neck in an unsuccessful attempt to see what the 'iceberg' is up to inside.

Housekeeper Mu skillfully blocks her view with his body and closes the door shut.

"I-It's nothing that you need to bother yourself with Miss Han."

"Doing that will only make me more suspicious you know."

Han Lili snorts. "You think I'm stupid? Why would I believe that he locks himself up in a room and does nothing."

The door swings open and the towering 'iceberg' comes out with an angry expression on his face.

"What do want?"

"Well it's nice to see you too, big brother." Han Lili folds her arms across her chest and pulls a cheeky grin.

"Answer my question!"

"Hmph, So scary! No wonder your girlfriend left you. Everyone thinks that the Han Yuan is a perfect man, but only those close to you know that you're an iceberg without emotions."

"Poor girl, I wonder how she survived... too bad I never got to meet her... did the two of you ever go on romantic dates... was she afraid of you..."

Han Lili continues to mutter incoherent questions to herself while the temperature around the trio drops several degrees.

Housekeeper Mu breaks out into a cold sweat.

"M-Miss Han, d-didn't you come here to report something?"

"Oh yeah right," Han Lili smacks her forehead lightly.

"Mom sent me to you. She says she wants you to bring a date to the charity event tomorrow."

"I refuse." Han Yuan replies and tries to go back inside but is pulled at the arm by Lili.

"She even got two good candidates for you to choose from; Yun Jingyi or Wu Lanzhi. They both come from respectable families."

Han Yuan ignores her and she gets frustrated.

"Yuan, you're the only heir to Han Group and at thirty-two you haven't disclosed a public girlfriend or shown even the slightest interest towards women. Don't you think rumors will start floating around?"

"That does not concern me."

"Well it should! Look, I know you miss your ex, but you need to move on. She probably has as well."

Han Yuan's face immediately darkens. He throws his sister's hand off his arm and walks angrily back inside the room he came out from.
