Loving You: A Blessing or a Curse?

Han Yuan clenched his fist and threw a punch at the wall leaving a hole in it.

His eyes landed on one of her portraits he had made.

She was wearing a bright red turtleneck, the fiery colour matched her lipstick and was in stark contrast to her bright green eyes.

Her hair was styled into a curly beach wave, the long locks fell around her face and framed her beautiful and delicate features.

She was smiling.

Her smile could light up a night.

It used to light up his night... his whole world in fact.

But now it's gone.

He couldn't help but wonder if was she smiling for someone else.

It wasn't impossible.

She was smart, kind, beautiful, honest, caring...

Who wouldn't want her, in his eyes she was perfect.

'I love you.'

The simple words she had said to him on numerous occasions. He took them for granted, thinking she would always be there.

He hated the thought of her laying in the arms of another man and telling him that she loved him.

After appeasing Han Lili, Housekeeper Mu returned to the room.

He shuddered at the sight of the gaping hole in the wall, adjusted his clothes and wiped the invisible sweat off his face.

"Mr. Han, your assistant called to say your meeting with Micro Corp starts in an hour."

"I'll leave now, fix the wall for me."

He tosses a last glance at the portrait before walking out.

'Su Lian, have you really moved on?'

Su Lian got up at about eight o'clock the next morning.

It was a Saturday and she had promised Yi Chen that she would take him out today.

After having a shower and getting dressed, she goes into the kitchen to make breakfast with a little figure trailing behind her.

"Baby where do you wanna go, the park or the zoo?" She carries her son and places him on the countertop.

"The zoo," he raises both arms and waves them in the air. "I wanna see all the animals."

She kisses his forehead and laughs at his little gesture. Su Yichen stares at his mother's stunning face.

'My mommy is the most beautiful mommy in the world...'

"What are you thinking about?" She asks rubbing his head.

Su Yichen wraps his tiny arms around her neck and buries his face in her chest.

"I love you mommy."

She giggles and lifts him in her arms.

"I love you too baby, mommy loves you the most."
