My beast Emperor System

While Lucien explained everything that happened the creed pillar listened attentively. Surprisingly, the Creed pillar was in no hurry, neither did he interrupt Lucien or show any sign of aggressiveness, he just listened attentively while Derik studied the paintings on the massive Crystal door.

"That's all that happened... If you have someone to blame, it's your leader, not me... I even find it dumb that you suspected a warrior realm kid could beat a champion realm master in his anomaly! I know I have pulled off some crazy stunts over the years but this is far beyond my capability! Even if I were to fight you in your anomaly right now, my chances of losing are pretty high" Lucien said thoughtfully.

He didn't hide his weaknesses and was honest about his strength. Unknown to him, the Creed pillar appreciated this and had a better impression of Lucien.

"I feel dumb for even considering the possibility... Back then you were an unknown... Taking on Spirit realm masters with a warrior realm cultivation level! How could I not consider the possibility?" The creed pillar said with a serious look on his face.

Hearing this Lucien found it extremely reasonable. Only he knew the extent Rakuzen's assistance could get him, so it was normal for no one to know his limits at that time. His strength and abilities have always been shrouded in mystery and that's why everyone believed he was able to defeat the Creed pillar from the spirit beast pathway. No one even questioned him or chose to investigate the matter even further and he guessed the Creed leader did not expose the part he played in the defeat of the creed pillar just to maintain his godly and caring image in the eyes of his followers.

"What do you plan to do now?" Lucien asked while shooting the two hooded figures standing behind the man in silence and frowned. They were like statues and if one lost sight of them for a moment their presence can be easily forgotten!

"I will definitely have a chat with the lord... But then I still have to kill you... You still struck the killing blow... Your story only made me forgive my foolish brother for dying at the hands of a weakling... If the lord didn't interfere, you won't be standing right now... As his sworn brother I will finish what he started!" The creed pillar said.

Whoosh!

Lucien was about to reply but then he noticed something was wrong!

Looking to the side he realized a pool of blood at both sides and then two lizard-like demonic creatures dragged off the ground by bone spikes that erupted from below.

When did they attack?

When did they move?

How did I not notice them?

Seeing this a cold sweat ran down Lucien's forehead as he noticed the white robes and masks were lying on the floor now! Those who wore it had attacked him the moment he took his eyes off of them and focused on the creed pillar for a split second! If Derik didn't interfere, he would have been dead already!

"Demon Kin pathway... Kamira demon beasts are known for hiding their presence and slipping through a person's range of perception and into his blind spot... You should be careful Lucien, lots of things can kill you in his world" Derik said dryly while he kept studying paintings on the crystal door.

"Ooh? Another strong one appears in the mortal realm? If I may ask... Who are you?" The creed pillar finally recognized Derik's presence and turned around to gaze at him.

The youth gazing at the paintings may look a bit mature but he could tell this kid was no more than fourteen years! Only if someone gets fooled by the calm and matured air around him will they think he is older.

"Me? I am the one who killed the Phoenix emperor and crippled your gods... It's a pity you look death in the face and fail to recognize him" Derik yawned while he continued studying the paintings, not even bothering to shoot the man a glance.

Hearing his response, the man retreated in shock, and for the first time, his calm demeanor vanished and was filled with fear!

"DERIK ANGUS!" He cried out before covering his mouth in fear as if he had made a big mistake.

He could remember the Creed leader warning them of the god of destruction and death about to attack their planet and wreak havoc! The pillars were specifically warned not to call his name for any reason and yet just did it.

Hearing his name, Derik finally stopped what he was doing and turned to face the Creed pillar. His eyes released a green flash of light and his smile revealed his fangs! Seeing Derik gaze at him, the man was terrified and he even believed Derik was purposefully suppressing his aura to look weak, with the mortal realm as his cultivation base.

He finally realized who two people were able to break through their stronghold and break through their defenses in a short time, before barging into this place.

"You have some matters so I will let this slide, just this once! But keep it in mind... No one calls my name in vain" Derik said calmly with a wild grin.

"You are supposed to be dead... Your powers were suppressed! I personally watched your body burn to ashes!" The creed pillar said but Derik only chuckled.

"Have you ever heard of death, dying? Doesn't that sound stupid? I simply took a new body... Do not fear my powers are still suppressed by this body and the world... For what it's worth, I am not as strong as I was when I fought the Phoenix emperor" Derik said with a cruel smile.

Only after hearing this did the creed leader calm down and look at Derik again. Since Derik claimed he is not as strong as he was when he faced the Phoenix Emperor, doesn't that mean he has a chance?

"Also, you have to die... This is a place of inheritance... It's not for side characters like you" Derik said as his death aura exploded violently!
