Chapter 52: Don’t You Have Feelings For Youyou?

Yi Beichen went to the cashier and paid for everything with his gold card.

The cashier, without hesitating for a moment, gladly accepted the card and packed everything for him. A big buyer like him was hard to come by.

“Beichen?” Ning Youyou remained puzzled.

“Youyou, I’m feeling really happy today. These clothes are my gifts to you for keeping me company. We haven’t had much fun ever since you returned from your studies! Don’t worry. We’ll make sure that my brother pays for all our expenses today.”

“Qianya.”

“All right, let’s get this over with. Let’s go. We’ll leave it for the man to pick up the bags. As for us, let’s go shopping. Quick! I want to pick out some shoes,” Yi Qianya excitedly said while pulling Ning Youyou into the next boutique.

Yi Beichen looked at the girls with a big smile.

Yi Qianya, along with Ning Youyou, continued to shop for more shoes and bags, as well as a bunch of makeup and beauty accessories.

Yi Beichen walked behind them from start to finish and quietly paid for everything. He was also the one who carried all of their bags.

After that, Yi Qianya suggested going to the movies.

“All right, we’re going to eat after the movie. Wait here, I’ll go and get the tickets,” Yi Qianya volunteered to go to the ticketing counter.

“It’s good to see Qianya being so happy,” Ning Youyou said with a tinge of emotion.

Yi Beichen chuckled at her sentiment. “Youyou, you’ve been too kind to her, that’s why she’ll never be able to grow up.”

Ning Youyou looked at him and teased, “Beichen, you’ve pampered her much more than I have.”

A sudden smile illuminated his face.

“Here are the tickets!”

Yi Qianya was back with the tickets, and to Ning Youyou’s surprise, she had selected a horror movie with 3D special effects.

Yi Qianya patted Ning Youyou’s shoulder apologetically and said, “I’m sorry, Youyou. This is the only movie that fits into our time. Since we’re just watching it to kill time, we can watch anything, right? Don’t worry. You can hold my hand when you’re scared.” She winked at her brother knowingly, but he responded with a glare of contempt instead.

Yi Qianya thought that Ning Youyou would be scared by the horror movie, so she purposely made her sit next to Yi Beichen so that he could have plenty of opportunities to care for the lady. However, it seemed like the reality did not quite follow with her high hopes.

“Ah! That’s so horrifying!”

“Youyou! I’m scared!”

Yi Qianya gave up as soon as the movie started. Instead, Ning Youyou was the one who cared for her throughout the session. The movie made Yi Qianya break into a cold sweat. She was so visibly affected by the movie that she had lost her appetite for dinner.

By the time Yi Beichen sent Ning Youyou home, Yi Qianya still looked weak and limp.

Ning Youyou got down from the car and looked at them from outside of the window.

“Beichen and Qianya, would you like to come in and sit for a while?”

Looking at Yi Qianya’s ghastly pallor, it was obviously not the best time. “Next time. I’ll send Qianya home first.”

Ning Youyou agreed. “Beichen, Qianya, thank you for everything today,” she said with a smile of gratitude. From the amount of shopping bags in her hands, she had definitely financially set Beichen back.

“Youyou, we’d better get going now!” Yi Beichen looked delighted.

“Sure. Bye!”
