Nerd Mode On!

Amber had been on the floor where the music was blasting, and with many who were dancing the night away. She had been wondering where Jay was, she hadn't seen him ever since they got separated by the crowd. She was now out of her seat and heading to the secound floor where the older married people were, but before she had entered the stairwell she saw a familiar man stumbling as he walked down. She knew right then and there, it was Jay.

"Jay just how much did you drink?!" Amber said putting an Jay's arm over her own shoulders, "You reek of alcohol!"

"Maybe.....a bottle or two...of spirits and wine.....A LOT of wine." his words were not slurred together but slowed down. Amber at Jay's face which thankfully he had kept his glasses on, and was flushed bright pink.

"Why'd you drink so much! We are going upstairs let's see what father - to -be -in -law has to say about this!"

"Nooooo...." Regardless of Jay's constant cries of the word 'no' Amber half carried and half dragged Jay up the stairs which was not an easy thing to do, since Jay was no doubt taller and heavier then a good percentage of guys.

After sweating and struggling Amber had finally brought Jay in front of Jace and her father, the two looked at Jay who seemed like a zombie.

"My, oh my! Amber what happened to him?" Her father asked, "Oh! I get it he is drunk!"

"Jay L. Xaiver! Explain to me what this situation is!"

Jay, who heard his grandfather's deadly tone immediately sobered up and stood straight, cause if not, he would be a dead corpse soon.

"Uh I was enjoying wine and champagne sir, when I saw a dickhead who came over and called me a bastard but Shadow was right beside him...And taught him a lesson...NO violence though...and Shadow challenged me to a drinking competition which I won..."

The three looked at each other while Jay didn't dare to look up, which made him look like a kid being scolded by his parents. While the two men stood there, Amber went over and gave his gut a good punch.

"Damn idiot!"
