One Piece: Path to Power

First of all, it's not dropped.

Recently I have been feeling iffy about the new arc not because of the execution but because of the contents. That little block added with some other elements formed a dam that blocked everything down. ​​

Mainly put, there are <30 days till my first year in University starts and that has been adding some weight along the way.

I also vaguely planned out the story and went FAR more in-depth than first expected.

G.V. was actually meant to happen around Chapter 40!

So yeah, going into many turns and twists, it did clog up the river of thoughts.

I'll also be out of town for a week or so and with school and everything coming in, I rather hold this book off for a while than push on and make some regretful errors.

Which will mean, a Hiatus.

Most likely till I'm used to Uni-life.

I have also deleted Volume 8 because I will change up a rather large part of it.

For one, Escanor will be wiped clean and filled with another villain with a similar personality.

Why?

I just feel iffy with the lack of creativity going into him and mainly put, I would NOT have added him if certain scenarios didn't occur earlier.

Pretty much, many months back when I was like 30-40 in the rankings, I had to come up with the 3 Overlords.

Which means each of their stories, their powers, their fruits and personality. And after making Borealis and Enigma, I was drained at the time and went with someone easy to write. I regret it, and now onto the final Overlord of the Sea Arc, I just keep getting stumped so I will redo that.

Superbia will remain, the Pirate Fest will remain, the 6 Capital Vices will remain, Hadean Form will remain, the overall plot of the Volume will remain but someone else will lead the bad guys and some other changes.

You know, I was thinking that I keep doing Paramecia and Logia and forgot about a certain fruit-type for the big bad guys so hmm....

Length of the Hiatus?

'Used to Uni' means around a month beyond it,

at the earliest being Late-September and the latest being Mid-October.

I should have everything planned out by then and with a decent amount of drafts stored it.

You may notice some chapters being edited and if you were in the middle of the book when this is released, Escanor's name may be changed so I am sorry about that confusion.
