Was Diana cheating on him?

Wayne's never ending storm was more enraged. He would never let another man take what belongs to him, never! Wayne from a young age, was very possessive, few things he cherished though, but those things were his and his alone. Diana was on of those things. He admitted not showing how much he cherished her, but how could he blame him and run to another man's arms.

Diana ended the call, feeling a little chilly, she turned to head back inside, when a familiar figure frightened her. Though, Wayne's facial expressions were hard to read his aura often sells him out.

From the cold air he emmited, Diana could tell he was angry. But why? She wasn't certain and wasn't inclined to know. The days she would try to make him happy were history.

Days she would make him coffee, that he never drank, just to make him feel better —history.

Days she would cook his favorite meals that turned cold —history.

Days she would satisfy his d.e.s.i.r.es even when she wasn't ready —history.

That's what they all are —history.

Diana composed herself before, walking past him.

"Cheating on me already?" His words made her stop on her track.

Of course. Among his many talents, over thinking was one of them. 'He heard the name Zach and now his pissed off or was it because I talked to him in a soft tone. What does he want, for me to yell when talking to a guy?' Diana thought.

The past her would try to explain and make him calm down. Not anymore!, she wouldn't waste her breath on him.

Facing him, she studied his indifferent look while giving him a half smile, then, she continued on her way. To Wayne that was a 'yes', and he wasn't going to let her and Zach off that easily.

...

After eating dessert.

Wayne and Ronin stared blankly as they didn't prepare any gift.

Hopefully, she wouldn't mind. Right?

"Mr, Uncle where are my gifts?" Pearl asked.

Wrong.

Ronin scratched his head, pulling something out for his pocket, he gave it to her.

She observed the item and said with annoyance "I can't drive."

"Well.... I'll get you another thing next time." Ronin tried to portray 'he gave her a gift but she rejected it'.

Pearl rolled her eyes and turned to Wayne obviously asking for his. "I don't have any." He said plainly.

"So you're stingy?" Pearl knew very well that Wayne was rich, him not providing any gift means he's stingy.

Ronin was tired of blaming the kid, his brother wasn't helping issues. He could have at least promised to give her something later, but no, he was just too straight forward like he was talking to an employee.

Owen was about to order the driver to take Diana and Pearl home. "I'll take you home." Wayne said to Diana, ceasing his words.

Wayne expected Diana to seat at the shotgun seat, but was displeased when she sat at the back together with Pearl and all the items, she acquired. Making Wayne look like their driver, even worst, an outsider.

The thirty minutes drive seemed like three hours, only the sound of the radio was heard in the car. Eventually, Pearl fell asleep.

Arriving home, Diana carried the sleeping Pearl and struggled with the items at the same time. Wayne leaned backwards on the seat, focusing on his front view he was deep in thoughts.

"Move back in tomorrow." Wayne said as he heard the car's door close.

"I am not your toy." Diana replied

"Our marriage certificate says you are."

"No! it said we were supposed to be one, but since you want it the other way, it's not going to happen."

"Just..... just listen okay, I am not going to let you ride on our joy. If you can't be a partner, at least be a father. So play your roles or else you'll regret it. Got that husband."
