Paying The Price

A month later....

The Grand corporation held it's anniversary in one of the prestigious hotel owned by the Grands. Top socialites, celebrities, and other high class individuals filled the hall as they enjoyed the event heartily. Reporters swamped the area in order to cover the event.

Such occasions were usually happy moments for all as the guests not only enjoy their time but also get the opportunity to form alliances with other stronger members of the prominent society.

Celebrities got more popularity by just showing up on such occasions hosted by the Grand corporation.

Grand corporation was first founded in Titan city, although Titan city wasn't a very big city and very popular to the world. Wayne, the CEO of the Grand corporation was more of a big shot than the home of the company.

As a prosperous and affluent business man Wayne oversees many branches of the Grand corporation, some were not established by him but in just 8 years of running the company he founded 3 branches in different parts of the world and all were flourishing exceeding well. Attracting a lot of wealth and fame to him and his company.

The anniversary were always held at the headquarters of the Grand corporation located in Titan city, so in this time of the year the city was usually busy as guests of the occasion came from all around the world to attend.

In the extremely large hall that was decorated in a breath taking design, people could be heard laughing and talking happily. Such a joyous occasion.

But not for everyone.

Since the day Diana and Pearl left the airport with Zach, Wayne for once haven't felt better but worst. One, he had a lot of plans for Zach but he had to wait even when his patience had completely ran out. He didn't want to widen the space between him and Diana. Two, Fiona. Giving her the freezing cold shoulders wasn't enough but still with Diana having some odd connections with her he had to wait too.

The court had requested his presence a week after he got the last, with some strings pulled he had extended it to two months. With one month gone he was left with one, so the time to act was near.

These two people could count themselves lucky cause Diana just made them have a blissful month though it was all about to end.

Feeling very terrible, Wayne almost left after the main event but as the CEO he had to wait for dinner.

Wayne wasn't the only one who was having a terrible love life, Leon too had it rough. As he couldn't agree or disagree to the marriage proposal of the Kings family it was inferred that he was just not ready to take on responsibilities and needed a little push. So their engagement would be announced in just a week time.

As the day goes by Leon became more gloomy and anxious. Just how was he going to stand up for himself and what he really wanted?
