Living in an apartment: Only children make choices.

Inside suite 3602.

Guan Gu Shenqi sat on the sofa, looking at the four people surrounding him, and asked in confusion.

"You want me to be a notary?"

Lu Ziqiao nodded and said.

"That's right! You're the most stubborn person in the whole apartment..."

What I mean is, you're the person I trust most in the entire apartment!

"Guan Gu is the most suitable person to serve as this notary!"

Guan Gu Shenqi said with a smile.

"Since Ziqiao has said so, then I'll take the role!"

Lu Ziqiao said excitedly.

"Yifei! If Zhanbo has a girlfriend in three days, don't you dare back out!"

Hu Yifei said with a wicked smile.

"What if Zhanbo is still single in three days!"

"I want your life!"

Lu Ziqiao shuddered in fright, then said defiantly.

We'll see!

Then the two of them hummed to themselves and turned to go home.

After everyone left, Guan Gu Shenqi sat on the sofa in deep thought for a long time...

Just then, Zhang Wei came out of his room carrying a bowl of instant noodles.

Upon seeing Zhang Wei, Guan Gu Shenqi hurriedly spoke.

"Zhang Wei!"

Zhang Wei quickly turned around and shielded the instant noodles behind his back.

Zhang Wei said cautiously.

"Guan Gu, what do you want from me?"

"You're not trying to steal my instant noodles, are you?"

Guan Gu Shenqi waved his hand and said.

"You're overthinking it. Everyone in our apartment knows you're having a tough time. Who would steal your instant noodles?"

Zhang Wei pointed behind him and said.

"Lu Ziqiao, he always steals my instant noodles when I'm not around!"

"And not only did he eat it, he also messed up my instant noodles!"

"For example, the bag I ate last night was almost turned into flour."

Guan Gu said awkwardly.

"Ziqiao has really gone too far!"

"I'll definitely put in a good word for him if I get the chance!"

Zhang Wei said, moved...

"Guan Gu, you are truly a good citizen!"

Guan Gu Shenqi paused for a moment before speaking.

"Something sounds a bit off..."

"By the way, Zhang Wei, aren't you studying law? Do you know what a notary does?"

"What should it be responsible for?"

Zhang Wei asked, puzzled.

"Guan Gu, are you asking about a notary, a notary public, or a guarantor?"

Guan Gu Shenqi said with a bewildered look.

Is there any difference?

Zhang Wei said with a smile.

"Of course! If you want to know more, I can explain it to you from beginning to end using nine major points and ninety-nine minor points."

Guan Gu Shenqi hurriedly interrupted.

"No need, thank you and your family!"

"Zhang Wei, I just want to know what a notary would be in our island nation."

"Now that you've explained it, I'll understand it much better!"

Zhang Wei pondered seriously for a long time, then suddenly recalled the movie that Lin Yun and Zhuge Dali had talked about that morning.

Zhang Wei asked tentatively.

"Guan Gu, do you know that there's a movie called seppuku in your island country?"

Guan Gu Shenqi said with a smile.

"Of course, that movie is a true classic!"

"Everyone in this island nation has seen it."

Zhang Wei said with a smile.

"That makes things easier!"

"The second in that movie is similar to a notary!"

Guan Gu Shenqi stared wide-eyed as he spoke.

Is that so?

Zhang Wei nodded and said.

"The names are different, but the things they do are similar."

"It's nothing more than keeping an eye on things from the sidelines, making sure neither side does anything they'll regret. It's pretty much the same thing!"

Guan Gu Shenqi said with an honored expression.

"So that's how it is! No wonder Ziqiao said he trusted me the most!"

"No wonder Yifei just told Ziqiao that she wanted his life!"

After saying that, Guan Gu Shenqi stood up and spoke.

"Thank you, Zhang Wei, I'm going to get ready now!"

Zhang Wei asked, puzzled.

"Get ready, what are you getting ready for?"

Guan Gu Shenqi hurriedly said.

"In our country's customs, before the second person is to be chosen, one must bathe and change clothes, and also eat vegetarian food for three days to show respect to both parties!"

"I'm going to take a shower now. Don't disturb me for the next three days. I need to prepare for chanting scriptures."

Looking at the eccentric Guan Gu Shenqi, Zhang Wei asked in bewilderment.

"The place isn't big, but the rules are quite strict. Is there really so much to be particular about just being a notary?"

The following morning.

Inside suite 3602.

Lu Zhanbo pushed open the door and came in to inquire.

"Ziqiao, I'm ready!"

Lu Ziqiao, who was eating instant noodles, looked up and asked in confusion.

What have you prepared?

Lu Zhanbo struck a flamboyant pose.

"Of course it's a date! How's my outfit? Isn't it cool!"

Lu Ziqiao looked at Lu Zhanbo, who was wearing gold-rimmed glasses, and sighed.

"Zhanbo, this is Love Apartment, not a nerds' summer camp!"

"No one will like you dressed like that!"

Lu Zhanbo asked, puzzled.

"But I used to wear this outfit all the time when I was in school."

Lu Ziqiao said with a frown.

"This place is different from other countries; most of the people here are normal!"

"If you want to interact with normal people, you need to use your brain like a normal person!"

Lu Zhanbo asked, puzzled.

"Use your brain?"

"Okay! I got it. Let's start our date now!"

Lu Ziqiao interrupted again.

"Zhanbo, there are some things I need to tell you in advance."

"The girlfriend you're looking for should be a high-quality girl. The way you talk to '28' from the Dinosaur Association won't work."
