The knife-wielding Kabane suddenly grinned.

Immediately, the floor tiles beneath their feet shattered.

"Shh-!"

With a single, unexpected step, its speed surprised everyone!

"!"

Long Yuanxiang's pupils suddenly contracted.

But knowing that Ichinose and his group behind them were still gathering their strength, retreating now would mean losing all their previous efforts.

"Damn it, I'll give it my all!"

A ruthless glint flashed in Long Yuanxiang's eyes. He gripped the knife with both hands and braced himself to meet the attack head-on.

"clang!"

Weapons clashed, sparks flew.

The Black Ball's battle sword could cut through iron like mud, and the katana in the Kabane's hand snapped in two.

But that was all; Long Yuanxiang did not manage to land a blow on his opponent.

This was because the Kabane, upon seeing the weapon break, displayed a remarkably human-like expression of astonishment.

Immediately afterwards, in an extremely inhuman posture, it forcibly twisted its waist in mid-air, pushed off the ground and leaped up, using the force of the rotation to slash diagonally at Long Yuanxiang's neck with the knife in its other hand!

"Get out of my way!"

At the critical moment, fearing that he might accidentally injure Ryuen Sho, Albert Yamada, who had abandoned his power-saving efforts like Izanagi, stepped forward.

With a powerful front kick, Kabane flew backward like a cannonball, slamming hard against the wall.

"Cough... Thanks."

Long Yuanxiang, clutching his bleeding arm, exclaimed in surprise:

"Such a fast blade... Could this thing have been a sword saint in its lifetime?"

"Ryuuen, get out of the way!"

A hurried reminder came from behind.

Upon hearing the sound, Long Yuanxiang turned to the side without hesitation.

Even though the capture gun has no firing delay, it is still a long-range weapon provided by the black ball and needs to be locked on.

"Zi-"

The triangular laser rope, as if anticipating Kabane's trajectory, bound him up like a dumpling the moment it got close.

"Gah... Ah..."

The Kabane struggled frantically, but despite their martial arts skills, they could only rage helplessly in the face of absolute technological superiority.

Long Yuanxiang let out a long breath:

"Swordsmanship, not bad... Fortunately, he's a lone wolf, otherwise he would be difficult to deal with."

After confirming that Ryuen Sho was alright, Ichinose looked at the three green dots on the black gun screen and was about to go to the lab to check on the existence of Amakura Asako.

"Ichinose, go and collect it."

Long Yuanxiang suddenly spoke.

Ichinose turned her head and looked at him with some confusion.

Don't misunderstand.

Long Yuanxiang waved his hand impatiently:

"We're carrying a debuff, so even if we kill them, we won't get many points."

"Since that's the case, let's just give you the highest score and see if you can accumulate enough points to maximize your benefits by getting a set of enhanced armor."

Honami Ichinose was somewhat surprised, but she didn't act coy.

"...I understand, thank you."

She raised the X-GUN, aimed it at the Kabane on the ground who had given up struggling and was just staring at Ryuen with his cloudy eyes, and pulled the trigger.

Faced with that almost mocking gaze.

Long Yuanxiang was slightly surprised.

at this time.

Perhaps hearing the commotion outside, the laboratory door, which was slightly ajar, was carefully opened a crack from the inside.

Asako Amakura peeked out and was overjoyed when she saw Ichinose:

"Ichinose...! I've been waiting for you to come back! I knew it was you!"

"By the way, Hirata from Class D is seriously injured and unconscious after trying to lure away the monster... He urgently needs medical help..."

As she spoke, she was about to push the door open and come out.
