Is the closed beta test of King of Loque over? The official release is here!

Mother Ocean will bestow her sincerest blessings upon her children!

After the notification sounded, the surrounding water elemental magic suddenly seemed to become completely agitated.

It wasn't exactly restlessness; the surrounding water elements seemed to be drawn in by some force, all converging towards Shui Lanlan.

As these water elemental magic powers converged, the evolutionary white light emanating from Shui Lanlan stopped weakening and began to be released intensely once again.

This process lasted for probably only a minute.

Immediately afterwards, the white light gradually dissipated, and the light blue figure reappeared.

She can no longer be called Shui Lanlan, because her appearance has changed drastically.

What came into Mo Fan's view again was a pet that was similar to Shui Lanlan but different.

Chapter 42 Genos Shallow Sea, External Changes

It is larger in size than its previous form.

The tentacles on its head extended out, forming two loop-shaped braids.

Butterfly knots adorn the side.

In addition, it seems that water elements are extending two fist-like hands from its body.

They look incredibly cute.

Without a doubt, this is the evolved form of Water Blue, Popola!

"Bobo!"

Popola seemed very happy after evolving, and immediately swam to Mo Fan's side, circling around him to show off its joy.

Mo Fan then checked Popola's attribute panel.

Seeing that his base stats had risen to 405 after evolution, Mo Fan was extremely happy.

Base stats are undoubtedly the most direct indicator of strength.

The higher the level, the more important the racial stats become.

In addition, Mo Fan discovered a very special point—Bobo's water affinity had actually increased again.

Originally, after using the Water Spirit Stone, the water affinity reached 10%, but unexpectedly, it has increased again this time.

"The blessing of Mother Ocean..." Mo Fan thought to himself.

"We were really lucky this time. If it weren't for this, let alone improving our water affinity, we probably wouldn't even have been able to evolve properly."

But this time it was luck, what about next time?

For a moment, Mo Fan pondered: What exactly does a pet need to evolve?

Judging from the evolution of Aquamarine into Popola, level requirements are only one aspect of pet evolution.

If I'm not mistaken, pets also need to have enough energy when they evolve.

If there isn't enough energy, you might not be able to evolve at the level you're capable of evolving at, and the evolution level will have to be delayed.

Mo Fan had a vague idea in his mind.

Fortunately, we don't need to think about these things for now.

Anyway, it's still a long way from evolving into the Fire Dance Dragon, the Oasis Mammoth, and the dashing Fire-Eyed Lizard.

"I've already learned the Water Repelling Spell, so I can't waste this chance to enter the dungeon."

Mo Fan immediately mobilized his water elemental magic, cast a water-repelling spell, and entered the sea.

[Enter the map: Genos Shallow Sea?]

[Pet level 10, learned Water Repellent Spell. Both conditions have been met.]

"Yes!"

After casting the water-repelling spell, Mo Fan entered the ocean and was immediately swept away by a current, arriving at a new place.

A flash of light, and Mo Fan opened his eyes.

Before us was a new sea area.

Here, a vast expanse of azure sea comes into view.

There are also many ocean rocks and coral reefs, with various colorful corals and various marine plants growing around.

The sunlight overhead shines through the seawater, and schools of fish swim by from time to time, creating a hazy atmosphere.

This is the map – Genos Shallow Sea.

There are also two other types of pets here.

The first type is still the bigtail fish, but it is of a higher grade than the ones from Mermaid Bay.

[Bigtail Fish, Water element, LV 11~15.]

The second pet is a blue-green jellyfish.

It has a round head, four tentacles under its body, and several red protrusions on its head arranged vertically, making it look quite cute.

[Jade Jellyfish, Water/Poison type, LV 16~18.]

Looking at these two wild pets.

"Popola, let's start this leveling-up session with you. Let me see just how much your strength has increased after your evolution!" Mo Fan said.

"Bobo!" Bobo circled around Mo Fan, appearing exceptionally enthusiastic.

……

Meanwhile, outside...

Outside Yunhai City.

A group of members of the Magic Defense Department, organized by the authorities, are gathered here.

Their gazes were fixed ahead.

The outside world of Yunhai City has undergone considerable changes since the Kingdom of Locke merged with reality.

The trees grew incredibly tall, and all kinds of vegetation seemed to grow wildly and intertwine with each other. The river was no longer polluted and became exceptionally clean, while the grassland was lush and verdant.

In the crowd, a man who looked quite dignified looked down at the outside world.

At this moment, Xie Yun arrived with several members of the Magic Defense Department.

"What's the situation in those wilderness areas outside?" the dignified man inquired.

Xie Yun spoke up:

"Minister Xia, the overall situation outside is still the same as before."

The areas where the people live have also remained largely unchanged, and each village has a magic crystal at its center, so there's no need to worry about the safety of the people in those rural areas.

Upon hearing this, the dignified man addressed as minister nodded.

But Xie Yun suddenly changed the subject and said:

"However, there are indeed problems in some places outside. Some areas are covered by thick fog, and we can't get in."

Upon hearing this, the man referred to as Minister Xia frowned.

"What's going on? Is it covered by thick fog?"

Xie Yun shook his head and tried to explain, "I can't really explain it. It's like... it's like this area isn't open yet. It's very strange."

Xie Yun continued, "However, I suggest sealing off these areas and sending our people there first."

If any unusual activity occurs in these areas, we can respond immediately.

Xie Yun's meaning was clear: these places were likely unexplored special instances, and while these instances might pose dangers, they represented far more benefits.

If their people go there first and occupy the instance, they will definitely be the first to reap the benefits.

Minister Xia pondered for a moment, then nodded: "Alright, we'll do as you say."

Xie Yun added, "But what if those areas shrouded in mist really open up? What will we do if people from other factions want to get in?"

Upon hearing this, Minister Xia frowned deeply.

In the past, how could such a problem be handled? Naturally, the authorities would have absolute control.

But now the world has changed completely. The advantages we had before are no longer dominant.

After some thought, Minister Xia sighed softly, "Let's play it by ear. First and foremost, we need to ensure our own safety, and also the safety of ordinary people."

Upon hearing this, Xie Yun nodded.

Chapter 43: The Harvest!

Genos Shallow Sea.

Mo Fan continued to grind levels here.
