He was still conscious; he hadn't lost his memory. The beam of light that fell from the sky could not possibly have been the work of terrorists.

So they must have gotten involved in some unknown event.

Jax said calmly, "Calm down."

"Calm down?" Max was even more distraught, pointing at the broken cuboid and shouting, "I just woke up in the fish tank, right here in this weird, terrifying house."

You're telling me to calm down?

"Yes, shut up!" Stanley finally couldn't help but scold his brainless teammate.

Don't they see what kind of environment they're in? As soldiers, they should be analyzing things calmly instead of breaking down and complaining.

After the captain's reprimand, no one said another word.

So where exactly are we?

“Black sites,” Jack suddenly blurted out.

“A hacked website?” Stanley looked at him. “Who runs it?”

“I don’t know.” Jack shook his head. “It might be someone with a technical background and deep pockets.”

It could be the Russian bear, or it could be China.

After this round of wild guessing, the group began to calmly observe their surroundings.

Soon, the group noticed the prominent text on the wall in front of the equipment.

Stanley touched it; it wasn't hieroglyphics at all. "This definitely wasn't done by the Chinese."

Looking at the unknown writing, Reynolds instinctively said, "Our names and numbers are engraved on this."

"How did you know that?" Stanley looked at him. From the beginning, the team members had been acting strangely in every way.

"I don't know," Reynolds' teammate replied, shaking his head just like before. "I just know."

"Damn it!"

"what happened?"

“The magazines are all full!” Jax said, and everyone began to check their guns and ammunition.

Sure enough, they found that everything was fully equipped.

"Mine too!"

"Same!"

Who would do that?

They had just been surrounded by terrorists not long ago, and by all accounts, they were already out of ammunition and supplies.

But now that he's awake, his weapons, even his grenades, are all full.

The eeriness everywhere suddenly sent chills down one's spine.

"The important thing is, who the hell did it?!"

"Yes, what do you remember at the end?" Stanley asked, looking at the group.

Jaske recalled: "Hassack, the gunfight, Donnie, and that huge alarm, and that electric shock."

"It felt like I'd been hit with a supercharged stun gun."

"That's a damn understatement." Max clearly remembered that the terrorists surrounding them were carbonized and disappeared directly in that beam of light.

“That was indeed very clear. After I fell into a coma, I had… endless nightmares,” Stanley said.

"In short, we have to take action."

"Where?"

“Whoever got us into this mess, they deliberately left us here.” Stanley looked at everyone and said slowly, “They must have had a reason for doing this.”

"They will come back."

This last sentence was a reminder that the enemy could return at any time, and if they didn't leave soon, they might be surrounded again.

These men were all veterans of the battlefield, and they quickly agreed with their captain's idea, "We'll listen to you, boss!"

"Let's move!" Stanley didn't waste any words and took the lead in walking to the front of the cabin.

The six men quickly spread out and took positions according to field tactics, taking turns providing cover in pairs, with their guns locked on the front, back, and dark blind spots on both sides of the passage.

Jax led the way, his tactical flashlight beam sweeping back and forth across the twisting, crisscrossing pipes and countless intersections.

Jack brought up the rear, holding the heavy rifle steadily in front of him, constantly watching for any movement behind him.

The narrow passageway twisted and turned, the bulkheads were covered with unfamiliar pipes, and shadows filled blind spots. Every time they turned a corner, the team would stop briefly to check for anything unusual before continuing.

No one spoke a word throughout; the only sound was the soft thud of combat boots on the metal floor. The tense atmosphere was almost suffocating.

After walking along the winding corridor for a long time, the view suddenly opened up ahead.

A huge, airtight spherical gate stood prominently at the end of the passage, its surface covered with radially divided patterns.

"Let's see how things go." Stanley raised his hand, signaling the whole team to stop where they were.

He raised his hand to suppress the crowd behind him, and the beam of his flashlight steadily landed on the spherical goal, his brows furrowed tightly.

Unable to discern anything from the end, he waved for everyone to continue forward.

Upon reaching the hatch, Max suddenly walked over to a dark piece of equipment and started banging on it.

"What are you doing?" Jack asked, puzzled.

Max shook his head again. "I don't know, but I feel like we should do it."

"..."

"Didn't you see it's black? There's no electricity, what's the point of taking pictures?" Jack said speechlessly.

"Then what should we do now?"

"Want to try manual mode?"

As they spoke, two burly men in the group immediately stepped out and came to the stone-like hatch, each starting to pry open one side of it.

"Let's all pull together!"

As it turned out, after the two of them struggled around for a while, the hatch did indeed open.

But two people still need to hold it off, otherwise the hatch will close quickly.

Stanley witnessed the swift order for the team to advance quickly into another corridor.

"Go to the right!" Stanley made the decision, and everyone lowered their stance.

Continue to advance steadily along the new corridor while maintaining tactical alert formation.

The beam of the flashlight cleaved through the thick darkness around them, and everyone's fingers hovered over the trigger guards, not daring to let their guard down for a moment.

Just as they rounded a bend in the road, a deafening roar suddenly erupted ahead.

Interspersed among the sounds were bursts of rapid, short gunshots that echoed repeatedly in the confined passageway.

Stanley and his team exchanged glances for a few seconds before finally deciding to speed up and head out to check on the situation.

Only with clear information can they better determine the current situation.

They quickly marched through two intersecting paths in an assault formation and soon arrived at a spacious equipment transfer cabin.

What first caught everyone's eye was not a firefight between some minions and the army.

Instead, the ground was covered with thick, dark brown fluid, and several large, distorted humanoid monsters lay sprawled on the ground, their limbs mangled.

What surprised them even more was the black-haired, black-eyed face of an Eastern boy standing in the center of the monster's corpse.

"Don't move!" Six soldiers nervously raised their guns and aimed them at the boy.

The cabin fell into a deathly silence; no one spoke first.

There was nothing we could do; the situation was bizarre in every way, and those things at the other party's feet clearly weren't human!

"I advise you all not to act rashly." Lu Qianwei looked at the soldiers who suddenly emerged from the spaceship and realized that this was the beginning of the story.

"Don't fire impulsively, or you'll attract these aliens."

"Aliens? What do you mean?" Stanley suppressed the restless emotions of his team members.

Staring at the rotting monster remains at the other's feet, he seemed to have a guess, but his mood became even more somber.

"Of course, it means exactly what it says."

"Our world has now been invaded by these aliens!" Lu Qianwei slowly moved aside a severed limb of a monster beneath his feet.

"These are the hunting ships that aliens use to capture different intelligent beings for fighting and amusement."

"How is this possible?!" Reynolds found it hard to believe that their Earth had been invaded by aliens.

"What's impossible about that?"

Each of you possesses a skill they have provided for you.

"For example, understanding written language, how to use alien firearms, how to open a spaceship, etc..."

After such an explanation, and with the existence of alien corpses, even if the soldiers still didn't believe it...

They eventually had to accept that their Earth had been invaded by a more advanced civilization!

But what they find unacceptable is that these damned aliens don't colonize or invade; they simply capture Earth's soldiers for their trials and entertainment!

"Damn it, I'm going to smash their heads in!" Reynolds roared in fury.

“Your guns won’t cut it if you want to smash them.” Lu Qianwei shook his head and said, then casually swung his hand in the air to his side.

Rows of sleek, futuristic weapons appeared neatly and orderly on the ground.

Energy rifles, portable pulse pistols, melee alloy blades, high-explosive energy grenades...

The sight of high-tech weaponry that the soldiers had never seen before caused the six men's pupils to contract and their breathing to become rapid.

Earth's thermal weapons are ineffective against those hard-shelled aliens.

At most, a blow would cause superficial wounds; it wouldn't be fatal.

Lu Qianwei pointed to the guns on the ground and said generously, "Throw away your toys and each of you pick a few energy weapons."
