Warhammer 40k: Melee Warriors

"No! This can't be!" Bennett's emotions were ignited by his own rational imagination. He struggled and roared, disturbing the other Iron Warriors' fun.
They walked over and stared coldly at Bennett, mocking his small stature. Just as they came up with knives, ready to slice off all of Bennett's flesh, leaving him only a skeleton barely alive, Antoine let out bursts of laughter.
"Hey~ you steel cowards, is all you can do is bully a little dwarf? Why don't you dare to show your stubbornness to me? Hmm? The little muscular man from the Imperial Fist used to serve me well, can't you do that?" Antoine mocked them with his contemptuous gaze, while swaying his body, making the bath towel spin like a windmill.
His taunts were meant to protect his teammates. Having engaged in self-harm for years, he was clearly more tolerant of abuse than Bennett and much more resilient than Fernando, who was no longer plagued by the stench.
We must hold out until Komi arrives, no matter how long it takes.
One day? One week? One year?
He has to persevere.
The Iron Warriors exchanged a glance, then decided to deal with this disgusting thing first.
The sharp knife cut into his flesh, and Antoine laughed heartily. No one but Komi could give him any feeling.
Unable to elicit the pleas and screams he desired, the Iron Warrior stubbornly persisted, determined to use every means to make Antoine beg for mercy.
His sharp knife moved swiftly and skillfully across Antoine's body, stabbing and slicing. When the bones were exposed, they scraped them off bit by bit with the blade, producing a sickening sound. Sharon didn't even want to open his eyes to look at Antoine's gruesome state.
The inability to feel pain does not mean the inability to feel the passing of life. Antoine sensed his own weakness as the Iron Warriors subjected him to increasingly brutal torture. His pale face and feeble laughter encouraged the Iron Warriors to continue their actions.
"This damn addict is about to give up! Hahaha!"
Amidst these rough, hoarse laughs, Antoine lamented that he was slowing down Komi's progress and could no longer serve his master.
A kilometer away, Koji heard the faint sound. He immediately put down the half-dead, tortured Dark Mechanicus monk he was holding and ran toward Antoine's location.
Faced with the solid wall blocking his way, Komi's only move was to fire rapidly, creating a straight line.
Chapter 146: Isn't this incredibly ironic?
The heavy sound grew louder and louder, drowning out the ear-piercing sound of bone being scraped. The steel warriors stopped what they were doing and turned to look in one direction. The next second, the solid wall collapsed with a roar, and then a giant rushed out from the billowing smoke.
Almost instantly, Komi flashed to the side of a steel warrior, grabbed the man's helmet with his large hand and crushed it with brute force, then continued to sweep his chainsaw sword across, forcing the remaining people away.
Looking at Komi's battle-scarred Terminator power armor, even the usually arrogant Bennett couldn't help but smile with surprise, exclaiming that Komi had arrived just in time.
However, Komi had no time to respond to their joyful greetings; he simply stared coldly at the steel warriors who were staggering backward.
While the production of skinless people is indeed large, their quality is indeed among the weakest of the Space Marines.
The finely crafted chainsaw sword, imbued with Komi's fury, slashed left and right, swiftly piercing the steel warriors' armor and tearing away the skin of others covering them. No one could stop Komi for even a second.
Soon, apart from the prisoners, only Komi was still breathing in the room.
Ignoring the other prisoners' pleas, Koji immediately released Bennett and the others, and held the bloodied and mangled Antoine in his arms, asking him how he was doing.
"It's alright..." Antoine said weakly. The moment Komi pulled him into her arms, all his senses returned to his body. He frowned at the pain, but still maintained a relaxed and handsome smile for Komi.
Komi sighed, roughly ripped off his Terminator arm armor, and, to Antoine's astonishment, sliced open his wrist, ordering, "Drink it."
"Oh! My master!" Antoine screamed, making Komi want to throw him out of her arms.
Whenever I try to show you more respect, you speak up!
Antoine's lips trembled as he gently placed them on Komi's wrist. The unparalleled bliss made him unable to even suckle, and he could only stare blankly as the blood flowed down his throat.
The wounds slowly healed under the repair of the blood, and Antoine's excessively pale face regained some of its human color.
"Sharon, help Antoine up." Komi ordered the most unpredictable yet also the most stable member of the group to take on the role of medic, then looked at the other prisoners who still had a chance to live.
He cut open his wrist, used a bowl of meat to collect more blood, and then asked the prisoners, "Do you want to live?"
Some prisoners, driven mad by the slow slicing, screamed that they only wanted to die quickly, while others, who had only lost a few pounds of flesh, declared to Koken that if they were saved, they would be loyal to his cause.
Do the Chaos Space Marines possess any loyalty?
Koken was unaware of this, but he knew that his blood had special effects, and that these Chaos Space Marines revered the powerful and unknown beings in the warp more than loyalty.
"I have saved your lives! Your bodies are now in my hands! Drink my blood! Your souls are now in my body! If any dare to defy my will, or disappoint me like they have... their fate will be a torment worse than death!"
At this moment, Koji laughed maniacally, like a crazed lord possessed by demons. He suddenly turned around and stared coldly at the bewildered Bennett, pointing a finger at him before slowly tightening his grip...
Bennett understood what Komi was going to do in an instant. He immediately put his years of experience in torturing prisoners of war to the fullest. He knew all too well what it was like for a person who had suffered greatly.
"Ah! Cough cough cough cough... Guh... Kill me..." Bennett knelt on the ground, his hands tightly gripping his throat, causing his face to turn purple within seconds. He used all his strength, forcing out many terrifyingly throbbing veins.
Ferren and Sharon knelt down on one knee before Komi, pretending to plead for Bennett's life.
Bennett stood frozen in place, unable to move. His bulging, bloodshot eyes, moist with tears, looked at Komi, and finally cried out, "Spare me... Markus... My Lord... I swear there won't be a next time..." A moment of clarity was overwhelmed by greater pain. Bennett convulsed and foamed at the mouth, making Komi wonder if his blood had truly branded them with some terrible mark.
Thus, the mercy of salvation and the majesty of the leader were fully demonstrated. Some prisoners who did not trust Komi's power changed their minds a few seconds after drinking his blood. No one had ever seen anyone's blood used as a good medicine.
Thinking about it this way, what healed their pain was a terrifying demon gazing at Komi's figure.
The prisoners knelt before Komi, swearing that they would sever all ties with their former war gang and pledge their complete loyalty to Komi.
“Very good.” Koji still didn’t trust these guys, but he thought that if he wanted to advance quickly toward Demas’s Dark Harbor, he needed someone to draw fire.
The commotion caused by Komi breaking through numerous passages attracted enemies from other areas. Bennett and his men no longer had the chance to put on their armor and could only grab the Iron Warriors' weapons to guard against the approaching enemies.
The remaining people dismantled the entire slaughterhouse and used oddly shaped weapons like hooks and butcher knives for self-defense.
Koken was only willing to protect the lives of Bennett and the others. He simply roared and ordered the rest to fight to the death against the Iron Warriors, Chaos Servants, and Dark Mechanicus Servants.
The prisoners who had just been rescued were still hesitant, but Komi's next words made them realize that they had no way out.
"I saved you and healed your wounds! Now the opportunity for revenge is before you. Do you intend to disappoint the Blood God?"
Komi's bald head with the Butcher's Nail and his scarlet paint constantly reminded everyone that they were not loyal to a kind-hearted leader, but a bloodthirsty butcher. They all knew what the consequences would be of disappointing a world-devouring warlord.
"Damn it! I'll fight those idiots!" The anger that had been raging for so long was suddenly ignited. A naked prisoner grabbed a dagger and charged out, determined to take a steel warrior with him to hell.
Once one person does it, many more will follow suit.
They temporarily gained a numerical advantage over the Iron Warriors who came to their aid, and in the brutal battle, they tore them to pieces.
"Marcus! Where are we going?" Bennett and his men provided fire support with the bomb guns they had picked up, asking Komi about their next plan while loading the ammunition.
Koji raised his hand to signal Bennett to calm down, his gaze fixed on a door painted with the number VII.
Approach it, then smash it open.
Inside was a solitary room filled with the stench of despair. A faint light illuminated a broken body. The man was old, with five service nails on his forehead, indicating that he had served the human empire for 500 years.
Thanks to the Terminator power armor's analysis system, Komi also learned that the small room was built much earlier than the slaughterhouse, and that this person must have been the raw material for providing genetic material to the original Devil's Womb of the Shattered Steel Fortress.
His body bears vicious branding marks, and the black iron fist symbolizing the Imperial Fist is deliberately depicted as broken.
All of this proves only one thing: the genetic seeds within many of the Iron Warriors in the Shattered Steel Fortress originated from this unknown veteran of the Imperial Fist.
"Who...who's there!" The voice of the Imperial Fist veteran was incredibly stubborn. His eyes were neither clear nor crazed, but rather a chaotic confusion that could not distinguish between fact and illusion.
Chapter 147: Being Stared at from Behind by a Petty Person
Koken finds the fact that Iron Warriors use Imperial Fist gene seeds absurd, but he is relieved when he thinks that Honso himself is a hybrid of Iron Warrior and Imperial Fist.
Seeing Komi remain silent for so long, the veteran of the Imperial Fist strained his lungs, which felt like broken bellows, to exhale even more breaths. "You traitors! I will never yield to you! You will not hear a single plea for mercy from me! Not a single scream! I will curse you all from the depths of this hell! I curse you all to die without a burial place for betraying the cause of humanity!"
Koga still held some respect for the indomitable and loyal. He sighed, took a few steps closer, and wanted to give this veteran of the Imperial Fist a dignified and quick death.
Just as he was a step away from the old soldier, with the buzzing chainsaw sword already at the old soldier's neck, Komi suddenly heard a surprised murmur.
"Company Commander Defak...is that you? Thank goodness, it really is you...I've finally waited for you! I didn't reveal the location of the Sacred Chest!"
The ancients were speechless, while the old soldier kept talking.
"Company Commander Defak... my days are numbered. The traitors have corrupted every inch of my flesh and soul. I can no longer return to the battle with you... Let me perish with this sinful land..."
To be buried with this sinful place...
To be honest, Koji also had this thought. He had seen far too many terrifying and inhuman things along the way, but he could only look at them helplessly because he was in a hurry to save people.
If this Imperial Fist were filled with unparalleled hatred and loyalty, then he would surely destroy all the demonic wombs here...
On a whim, Komi fed his blood to the veteran of the Imperial Fist.
The recovery of his body restored some of the old soldier's spirits, and his voice, which was as faint as a mosquito's buzz, gradually grew louder.
"Primarch... Saint of Terra... I did not utter that sacred code..."
"What sacred code?"
Gu Jian asked, and the veteran immediately became alert, asking, "Who are you? What do you want to get out of me? No one can break my defenses!"
Suddenly, he remembered Falla, the psychic who had told Komi that he could hear the Emperor's voice through his hands. Komi didn't know if this effect would remain after changing bodies, but he still tried placing it on the veteran's ears.
From a face full of hatred to tears, it was only a moment. Koji was able to record a string of sacred code amidst the old soldier's happy sobs. As for how to use this code or who to use it for, he had no idea.
Leave the veteran's side to allow him time to recover.
Bennett inquired about the whereabouts of Komi's finely crafted chainsaw sword. Komi turned slightly and looked at the still pitch-black door, which remained open, before replying, "I left this chainsaw sword with my disgust and hatred for this place."
Bennett didn't know what Komi was saying; he just watched as Komi tore off the Iron Warrior's two arms and used them like nunchucks.
"Now, let's fight our way out! Then we'll meet up with Demas!"
Komi took the lead and quickly charged to the front. With his addition, the naked prisoners, who were showing increasing signs of weakness in the fight, were greatly encouraged. Following Komi's footsteps, they killed every enemy they encountered.
"Sharon! We're leaving!" Bennett called out through gritted teeth, and Sharon helped Antoine leave the dangerous place.
The sounds of battle faded into the distance, and footsteps echoed in the dark room. The gaunt, wiry veteran of the Imperial Fist slowly emerged, carrying the finely crafted chainsaw sword left behind by Komi. As he surveyed his surroundings, he roared with unparalleled fury.
"You traitors! I'll scatter you! I'll scatter you!"
The roar pierced through the thick layers of rock and fell into the waste disposal site, which was even deeper than the Demon's Womb area. The inferior, skinless people who had barely escaped with their lives amidst the spinning blades heard the sound.
They lifted their heads from the blood and gore, crawling upwards on all fours like wild beasts, causing the extremely fast, spinning blades—which required incredibly hard bones to even momentarily catch—to all come to a halt.
The skinless people used this to climb up and eventually reunite with the loyal yet mad old soldier.
In that instant, the veteran and the skinless man stared at each other intently, neither making any move to attack.
The skinless man struggled to control his vocal cords and produced a not-so-clear human voice.
And this human voice is precisely the biggest reason why they were rated as inferior products.
"For...the Emperor..."
......
As they ascended from the collapsed tunnels, Koji always led the way. The menacing aura surrounding him inspired genuine submission among the prisoners who had temporarily joined his ranks. The Space Marines' reverence and respect for the powerful was practically ingrained in their genes.
