Warhammer: Empire Reboot

318 worlds.
95400 culture pools.
A full combat formation is no longer the goal, but the basic state.
The sector administration no longer relies on the old aristocracy and guilds, but on the swarm network.
Agrippina will no longer be just a reclaimed forging world, but will become the heart of the war in the dark side of the entire Empire.
Even further.
Lawson looked up at the outer layer of the star map.
Beyond the Agrippina sector lies the Nakmonde Corridor.
Beyond the corridor lies a much larger, darker side of the empire.
There are countless lost worlds, countless hive cities awaiting rescue, countless governors who have already knelt before chaos, and countless isolated islands still sending out distress signals with their last Star Speaker.
Beyond that lies the entire Milky Way.
Abaddon's Black Legion awaits.
The four gods of chaos are watching.
Terra gasped for breath in the shadow of the throne.
Guilliman mended the cracks in the visible empire.
Dante carried the despair of half the empire in the shadows.
Looking at the 318 planets before him, Lawson saw for the first time a much longer road.
Lawson's smile gradually widened.
Andrei was all too familiar with that expression.
"Notify the four nuns."
"Come to class tonight."
Inside the training hall of the core monastery, the roar of chainsaw swords drowned out the sound of fans deep within the walls.
Katarina was wearing only a close-fitting training outfit and was barefoot on the black non-slip floor.
The chainsaw sword traced arc after arc in her hand, its serrated blade spinning at high speed, tearing apart several pieces of old prayer cloth hanging at the edge of the training ground.
She was moving faster than she had two months ago.
Sera was initially counting the frequency of her sword swings, but eventually gave up.
Vera sat on the edge of the training field, a handwritten book spread out on her lap.
She had intended to record Katerina's training data, but after her pen hovered over the paper for a long time, she only managed to write one line.
Strength has increased significantly.
Sena stood to the side, holding a timer in her hand. Her gaze shifted from the instrument to Katarina.
"Group 7 is finished."
Katarina didn't stop.
She stepped forward, her chainsaw slashing diagonally.
As soon as the automatic target machine in the center of the training field was launched, she sliced open its outer shell with one sword, cut off its central axis with the second sword, and pressed the remains back to the ground with the third sword.
Golden flames flashed past along the serrated edge.
The target drone did not explode.
The outer casing was burned clean by the fire, and the internal gears and wiring were cut off, but the high temperature did not affect the adjacent spare module.
Katarina finally stopped.
The chainsaw blade droops, its teeth no longer rotating.
The only sound in the training room was her breathing.
Sera crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, saying, "You didn't cut like a training target just now; it looked like it owed you a warship."
Katarina ignored her.
She looked down at her hands.
Her fingers were still gripping the sword hilt, but her palms no longer felt the soreness they used to have. After seven consecutive sets of high-intensity slashes, her forearm muscles should have started to heat up, and her old shoulder injury should have reminded her to stop.
Now, those feelings are all very light.
Even breathing recovered too quickly.
Katarina slowly raised her chainsaw sword and performed the standard starting stance once again.
Her body seemed to have been recalibrated.
Sena looked at the timer, her tone becoming serious.
"Your peak instantaneous sword-swing speed has increased by 117 percent compared to two months ago. The number of consecutive bursts has more than doubled. Recovery time has been reduced by 60%."
Sera paused for a moment.
Are you sure the instrument isn't broken?
Sena handed her the timer.
"You can see for yourself."
Sera took the instrument, glanced at it, and immediately dropped the teasing expression on her face.
She turned and walked to the other end of the training field, casually drawing her short-handled power sword.
"Open a set of speed targets."
Sena did not stop her and immediately activated the training system.
Twelve target drones were launched from different angles.
Sera rushed out.
Her style is different from Katerina's.
Serra became more impatient and aggressive, like a close-combat assault soldier who couldn't contain his temper.
Her biggest problem in the past was that her pace was too fast, and after three rounds of bursts, her movements would become distorted due to excessive exertion.
This time, the transformation did not occur.
She fired all twelve shots in one go, then stood still, looking down at her arms.
"I wasn't panting."
Sena looked at the data.
"You not only stopped panting. Your reaction time dropped from 0.19 seconds to 0.08 seconds."
Sera slowly turned her head and looked at Vera.
"What about you?"
Vera raised her right hand.
Golden flames emerged from her fingertips.
The flame split into seven strands along her fingertips.
Each strand is as thin as a thread.
They intertwined in mid-air, circled around a suspended training ball, and then converged at the same time, leaving a complete double-headed eagle outline on the surface of the ball.
Vera herself was stunned.
Sena reached out and took the training ball, then checked it over.
"The flame temperature, the burning range, and the psionic attachment are all suppressed to the surface. You couldn't do this level of detail before."
Vera withdrew her hand, a trace of golden light still lingering on her fingertips.
The training hall fell silent.
The four people looked at each other.
Neither of them are slow-witted.
two months.
Strength, speed, stamina, recovery ability, nerve reaction, and control of metal and fire all showed improvement.
During these two months, they did not undergo any new genetic modifications or drink any unknown drugs.
Daily training remains largely the same as before.
Only one thing has truly changed.
They began to frequently enter the inner court of the tower to serve Lawson personally.
Sera spoke first.
"It's an adult."
After she finished speaking, her face immediately turned a little red, as if she had finally realized that there was another layer of meaning behind her words.
Sena didn't laugh at her.
Logically speaking, it can only be an adult. Adults' life level is inherently abnormal.
Katarina frowned.
"But we are just..."
She stopped.
Sera caught it quickly.
"To serve".
Sena glanced at her sister.
Vera looked down at her hands.
