"He's not wrong. The Vigilant Star battle was poorly fought, but it was exhilarating to fight."

These words immediately drew nods from several battle group leaders.

The Vigilant Star campaign is so complex it's tedious.

Greenskins, Genestealers, Deathguards, Black Legion, Thousand Sons, Midnight Lords, Punishers, Word Bearers, Iron Warriors, Dark Eldar, plus Imperial Nobles, Mechanicus, State Religion, PDF Remnants, and Hive Refugees.

Any one of these lines of communication could be enough to cripple an ordinary command post.

But under Lawson's command, the battle was reduced to a series of clear orders.

All intelligence seemed to be pre-prepared and delivered precisely to the tactical terminals of each unit.

Astartes hates two things the most.

First, they can fight on the front lines, but they drag the team down in the back.

Second, the enemy is right in front of us, and the orders are still on their way.

In the later stages of Vigilant Star, these two things almost disappeared.

Because fighting under Lawson's command is so much more enjoyable.

The intelligence was timely and accurate, the cooperation of friendly forces was strong, and the calls for support were timely. Sometimes, just as the call for support was made, long-range artillery fire accurately struck the enemy's face.

Later on, there were no worries at all; they only needed to fight, and didn't need to worry about anything else.

The battles on Vigilant Star were the most complex and the worst, but ironically, they were also the places where they fought the most fiercely and suffered the fewest casualties.

They know what's going on.

They looked at Calga and asked him to speak.

Calga understood the situation by observing everyone's expressions.

They came today not just to say goodbye.

There's something else everyone wants to say, but we need the right person to say it.

So everyone's attention eventually fell on Calga.

Ultramarines Captain.

Son of Guilliman.

A renowned commander of the empire.

More importantly, he had already dealt with Lawson before, and the IOUs had been settled.

Calga coughed lightly.

Lawson looked at him with a smile in his eyes.

"Commander Calga, is something the matter?"

Calga did not go in circles.

“Your Excellency, we have heard that many of the Astartes companies under Dante’s command have your orders of battle with them.”

"They provide safe navigation, stable communications, emergency supplies, battlefield evacuation, and casualty evacuation."

“On Vigilant Star, we have witnessed firsthand the value of this support.”

"On behalf of all the combat groups present, I would like to inquire whether we can also receive similar support."

The Astartes Chapter has always been independent.

Allowing external personnel to be stationed at the company means opening up some operational rhythm, flight path information, and battlefield location.

If it were an ordinary faction, many warbands would simply refuse.

But Lawson is different.

His combat sequence has already proven its value on Vigilant Star.

They can provide navigation in subspace storms, evacuate dying soldiers using stasis fields, and provide an extra box of explosives for companies running out of food and ammunition in the most dangerous situations.

This kind of support is practically equivalent to an extra life for the Imperial Dark Side chapters.

Lawson looked at them.

"Are you aware of our agreement?"

Haldo Shuangpi spoke immediately, as if afraid someone else would beat him to it.

"know."

"All non-essential supplies and spoils of war encountered on the battlefield belong to the Lord Sealholder."

"Adamantite, rare ores, Chaos ship wreckage, Daemon engine parts, Dark Mechanicus equipment, STC fragments, space undead metal, Xenomorph stockpile. Weapons, gene seeds, relics, and the remains of fallen comrades that our chapter is required to retain are all yours."

Olugin stroked his chin.

"White scars are acceptable. We don't like dragging around a bunch of scrap metal anyway. If we encounter any undead star systems or unusual ruins, we will report to the Marker in a timely manner."

The other factions also expressed their agreement.

Calgar looked at Lawson.

"Your Excellency, we understand the conditions and are willing to abide by them."

Lawson nodded.

"That's the situation. However, I want to reiterate it."

"Communication, navigation, positioning, and emergency evacuation are all possible. Battlefield casualty evacuation is also possible. Providing food, ammunition, medical kits, and short-term fire support when necessary is also an option."

"But my logistical support isn't for you to run regular transport lines."

“You can’t treat these three combat-ready soldiers as a warehouse for the army, nor can you treat them as worker bees that carry the daily supplies for the entire company.”

"The dark side of the empire is too vast, and there are too many battlefields that require urgent support. Every time supplies are dispatched, it occupies the passageways."

Calga nodded immediately.

"That's enough."

"The entire empire's emergency logistics depend on the Lord of the Seal. If someone were to use this ability for routine resource allocation, it would not be a convenience, but a waste, and a crime against the war effort."

That's a strong statement.

This also prevented any potential abuse of the support.

Haldor grinned.

"Anyone who dares to use this lifeline to transport liquor, I'll shove their head back into the liquor barrel first."

Olukin laughed and said, "You space wolves should mind your own business first."

Haldo glared at him: "We'll bring our own alcohol."

"This is even more worrying."

Lawson watched the group of chapter leaders bickering and smiled.

After the battle on Vigilant Star, their relationship became noticeably closer.

More than thirty combat personnel entered through the side door of the hall.

They weren't wearing power armor.

He was tall and wore close-fitting gray-black armor, with only a small palm print emblem on his chest.

Groups of three stood in front of the flag of their respective battle groups.

This time, the force dispatched was a regular combat unit.

But on Vigilant Planet, all chapters have already witnessed the terror of these “ordinary” combat sequences.

They can cut down Chaos Space Marines even without power armor.

Lawson said, "Three per chapter."

"Adjustments can be made temporarily in the event of a special war zone."

"They will obey the battlefield discipline of your battle group, but they will not leave my network."

"They won't interfere with your chapter's secrets, they won't rummage through your reliquary, they won't touch the geneseed, and they won't meddle in your company's honor."

"Their job is just to keep you alive to fight more battles."

This statement made many guild leaders' eyes light up.

Calga stepped forward and bowed respectfully.

"Extreme Warrior thanks the Marker."

The other battle group leaders also saluted in turn.

Calgar's lieutenant stepped forward to receive the three combat units assigned to the Ultramarines.

He looked at one of them.

"Do you need power armor specifications?"

The combat officer replied, "Standard MK X or MK VII are both acceptable. If no suitable model is available, light modified armor can be used."

Upon hearing this, Calgar looked at Lawson.

Lawson laughed and said, "That's right, the Ultimate War God knows the rules very well."

“My soldiers are going on a long journey with you, they can’t go to the battlefield shirtless.”

"You'll provide the power armor, is that alright?"

Several battle group leaders laughed at the same time.

After the matter was settled, the atmosphere in the hall became noticeably more relaxed.

The various battle groups got what they wanted.

Lawson also extended Agrippina's tentacles into the Astartes Chapter, which was now operating in the darker corners of the Empire.

This is a win-win situation.

Just as the allocation was nearing its end, Lawson looked toward the edge of the hall.

The Dark Angel representative stood there.
