Warhammer: Empire Reboot

His armor was dark green, and the winged sword emblem on his breastplate hung quietly.
Compared to other chapters, the Dark Angels are remarkably silent.
Lawson did not publicly address the issue.
However, the records of the Wartime Overlords confirm that the Dark Angels broke away from the United Command.
The dark angel represents taking a step forward.
He took off his helmet, revealing a cold, hard face.
"Your Excellency, the Master of the Seal."
"In the previous Sandstorm Vortex war zone, our unit broke away from the joint front without authorization while pursuing the Fallen Ones, which put pressure on our friendly forces."
"Our department will take responsibility for this matter."
"The Dark Angel apologizes to you."
He made it sound difficult, as dark angels rarely admit their mistakes in front of outsiders.
Haldo Shuangpi stood to the side with his arms crossed, his face clearly showing his curiosity.
Lawson looked at the representative of the Dark Angels.
"The fallen angel has been captured?"
The other person's eye twitched slightly.
"We caught a portion of them."
"That's fine."
"Do you need three combat personnel accompanying you?" asked Lawson.
The expression on the face of the Dark Angel became complicated.
There had been internal debates before his arrival.
The Battle of Vigilant Star proved the immense value of the Marksman warriors.
But the Dark Angels have too many things they can't let outsiders get close to.
Even though the three combat units promised not to pry into the chapter's secrets, the Dark Angels still couldn't rest easy.
They've lived for tens of thousands of years, all because they never let their guard down.
"Your Excellency, the Dark Angel thanks you for your generosity."
It represents bowing one's head.
"But our unit will not accept permanent support at this time."
The atmosphere in the hall paused slightly.
Lawson nodded: "Then I wish you a successful hunt."
The Dark Angel representative bowed again.
"May the Emperor watch over you."
After he finished speaking, he turned and left.
A group of dark angels followed behind him, their steps synchronized, their cloaks flashing past the entrance to the hall.
Haldor chuckled only after they left.
"Their First Legion has the most secrets, so forget about it."
…………
The wind outside Saint Harbor stopped for a long time on the day the Terra Coronaguards left Vigilant Star.
A long path was cleared out of the port platform.
The Corona Guard stands on the platform.
They arrived like a group of gilded young nobles.
When they left, their gold-edged armor bore many signs of repair, their family cloaks were missing their complete hems, and many people still had strips of cloth torn from the battlefield tied around their wrists.
The strips of cloth were different colors.
There's the gold of the Kaslan family, the white and red stripes of the Vann family, and the gray and silver edges of the Valmont family.
There were also coarse cloth bandages left behind by ordinary soldiers of the 82nd Regiment.
They were bound to the wrists, gunstocks, sword hilts, and shoulder armor of the noblemen, like a battlefield oath that no one was ordered to take off but no one was willing to.
Aurelia Vane stood at the front of the line.
She no longer wears the ceremonial armor she wore when she first arrived on Vigilant Planet.
The new shell armor, after being repaired at the Foundation Workshop, retained a deep scar on its left shoulder, left by an orcish cleaver. That scar could have been polished, but she insisted on leaving it.
On his left wrist was the sun emblem from Victor Kaslan's tattered cloak.
Behind her, Armand de Valmont stood ramrod straight.
He was originally the second son of a marquis who was very particular about etiquette.
Now, instead of the family rapier at his waist, he carries an old trench shovel.
The handle of the shovel is engraved with the number of Sergeant Brock of the 82nd Regiment.
Many of the young members of the Corona Guard have changed.
Some people lost their hands, some received prosthetic eyes, and some still experience aggravation of their wounds when walking.
The weariness on their faces was stripped away by the Vigilant Star's fire, leaving only the still-warm bloodlust.
As Lawson emerged from the inner passage of Saint Harbor, the entire regiment stood at attention simultaneously.
Alleria proclaimed, "The Terra Corona Guard pays homage to the Lord of the Dark Side!"
"Salute to the Lord of the Seal!"
Hundreds of noblemen responded in unison.
Lawson stopped in front of them.
Lawson looked at the depleted team and remained silent for a while.
The wind on the platform blows the military flag.
The sun flag slowly unfurled.
Lawson began, "When you first arrived on Vigilant Planet, many people laughed at you."
Someone in the queue twitched slightly at the corner of their mouth.
They know it themselves.
The six suitcases of formal wear, two suitcases of perfume, servants, silver cups, and family recommendation letters that came with the trip were all jokes among veterans of the battlefield.
Lawson continued, “Terra nobility scions, gold-trimmed armor, family cloaks, ceremonial heat guns. Many people think you’re here to gild yourselves.”
No one objected.
Lawson's gaze swept across their faces.
“But on the seventh hill, you burned the gold.”
"What's left is iron."
"It's bone."
"They are Imperial soldiers who can stand in front of the reservoir and fight the orcs to their last breath."
Armand's Adam's apple bobbed.
He recalled Sergeant Brock's words: "If you can't pull out your knife, let go and get a different one."
Lawson raised his hand.
A member of the Cornerstone Sequence stepped forward carrying a tray.
The tray held newly minted medals.
The medal's main element is a sun crown, surrounded by a fortress-like emblem of a warning star, with a small handprint emblem engraved in the center. Below is a line of text:
The seventh high ground, do not retreat.
When Aurelia saw those words, her eyes instantly welled up with tears.
She forcefully suppressed it.
Lawson picked up the first medal and walked up to her.
"Aurelia Vane".
"With the collapse of the Seventh Hill defense line, the death of the commander, and heavy casualties among friendly forces, I took over command of the remaining troops, continued to maintain the front line, and protected the outer ring of the water storage nest capital."
"You are worthy of the name Fan En."
"It truly lives up to its name as the corona."
Aurelia knelt on one knee.
"For the Emperor, for Terra, for Vigilant Star."
"Also known as the Lord of the Seal."
Lawson pinned the medal to her chest.
"stand up."
When Aurelia stood up, her eyes were already red.
Laurent walked toward Armand: "Armand de Valmont."
Armand immediately knelt on one knee.
Lawson glanced at the trench shovel at his waist.
"You brought the weapons of an ordinary Astronaut sergeant to the present day."
Armand whispered, "Sergeant Broc saved my life."
