The ghost in the toilet, isn't that Myrtle?

"No, prefect, it's a male ghost!" Andrei exclaimed. "It's a male ghost with its head buried in the toilet!"

“Don’t panic, there are plenty of male ghosts in Hogwarts. Isn’t Barrow the Blood Man a man?” Praris stood up. “Call Draco, let’s go take a look!”

Chapter 125 Lydia's Budding

Outside the boys' washroom.

Praris had clearly instructed Draco to search every boys' restroom, and Draco had done so.

But in the end, Monta appeared in the bathroom that had already been searched!

According to a panicked Anderson, Monta was upside down in the toilet, with only his lower body visible.

—It evokes some disgusting images; one wonders how much toilet water he drank.

Umbridge rushed over, but having spent most of her life studying power politics, she was not skilled enough and, after a lot of effort, she still couldn't "pull" Monta out.

The only thing she could do was probably add some bruises and strains to Monta's body.

Draco emerged from the bathroom with a look of disgust on his face: "Professor Umbridge sent me to find Professor Snape. You stay here and watch the situation."

Before long, Professor Snape rushed over and used magic to separate Monta from the toilet.

“Now that Professor Snape is here,” Umbridge said, covering her mouth and nose, “this place is yours.”

Having successfully passed the buck, Umbridge quickly scurried away.

Professor Snape used magic to make Monta float, glancing at Praris out of the corner of his eye.

“She wouldn’t let me in,” Praris explained knowingly. “It’s the men’s restroom—though she went in herself.”

Umbridge is quite particular; when searching DA, she put Pansy in charge of the girls' restrooms, and when rescuing Monta, she wouldn't let Prarese in either.

Draco objected: "I don't see any problem with it. The problem is solved now, isn't it?"

Snape sneered and quickened his pace toward the school infirmary.

I don't know how he did it. He was walking, but Draco and Praris had to jog to keep up with him.

London unions often organize an event called "race walking," which involves walking quickly. Race walking has even been included as a competition event in the Muggle Olympic Games.

Every time Prarese saw Professor Snape dart by like the wind, he felt that he was perfect for this kind of match.

"I'm sure I can win the gold medal," Praris thought.

Monta's situation was quite unique, even posing a challenge for Mrs. Pomfrey.

She checked it over and over again, her brow furrowed so deeply it could trap a fly.

“This doesn’t look good,” Draco whispered. “Did you see that? His eyes are open, but he’s not lucid at all, even more confused than idiot Crabbe and Goyle!”

Prareus shifted his gaze from the dazed Monta to Professor Snape. He seemed a little anxious, his eyes frequently darting to the clock in the infirmary.

Praris, with a keen eye, offered a way out: "Professor, if you're busy, you can leave this to me and Draco."

“Oh, yes.” Draco patted his chest. “We’re here.”

Professor Snape responded with a "hmm" and immediately turned to leave.

"Guess what the professor went to do?" Draco grinned maliciously. "He went to tutor Potter in Potions! I bet the professor is worried that if he doesn't go back soon, Potter will blow up his office."

Praris gave a meaningful "Oh?"

After sitting for a while, Draco told her to go back first, in case the freshmen needed someone and couldn't find her.

Praris walked toward the stairs leading underground.

Monta's condition reminded her of Apparition, as unskilled Apparition often leads to similar accidents.

In 1971, an old wizard, whose eyesight was failing, mispronounced Penrith as Penzance.

Penris is in Cumbria in northwest England, bordering Scotland, while Penzance is in Cornwall in southwest England.

The difference between the north and south caused the old wizard, who had set off from Northumberland, to run out of energy before he had even completed half of his journey. He crashed into a bench in Breckenbeaks National Park in Wales and got his head stuck.

In the end, it was the Muggle park ranger who smashed the bench to rescue the old wizard.

This news was listed as a negative example in the Apparition course teaching cases.

The only problem is that Hogwarts doesn't allow Apparition.

“Astria?” Praris stopped in his tracks.

Astoria hurriedly spread her arms to block the girl behind her. Only after doing so did she fix her gaze on Praris.

Upon seeing it was Praris, Astoria breathed a sigh of relief: "Praris! It's you!"

Praris looked at her, then at the chubby little girl with brown curly hair behind her, conveying his confusion with his eyes.

Astoria quickly stepped aside, spreading her arms wide to show her good friend: "Grace Jones, my friend, Hufflepuff's!"

Grace greeted Praris confidently: "Hello! Praris, I've heard of you! I'm here to take Lydia back to Slytherin!"

After walking up the stairs, Grace said goodbye to Astoria.

Hufflepuff is on the first basement level, while Slytherin is even deeper.

Walking through the underground building where torches flickered, Astoria recounted her story with Jones.

In Leia's year, Slytherin and Hufflepuff took flying lessons together.

She had played with flying brooms at home, and was eager to try it in flying class, even flying a little too fast.

Upon landing, Leah couldn't stop in time and lurched forward, crashing into someone. The two of them collided and fell headfirst into the bushes.

The person who became the human cushion was Grace Jones of Hufflepuff, a witch from a Muggle family.

The first thing Grace did after getting up wasn't to blame Leah, but to ask her, "Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?"

After becoming friends, Grace was even glad she was chubby: "Someone as thin as you might break a bone if you fell!"

Praris listened patiently to Astoria's story.

"It's quite nice, isn't it?" Praris teased her with a smile. "Why were you in such a hurry to block her out? Didn't you want me to see your friend?"

Grace was much bigger than Astoria, and the child did nothing to block anything, serving only as a symbol of goodwill.

"It's all because your investigation team is making baseless accusations!" Astoria rarely lost her temper. "Warrington said he'd teach me a lesson on behalf of my sister—what right does he have? His method of teaching me was to deduct twenty points from Grace!"

"That's outrageous! What's his reasoning?"

Astoria lowered her head: "He said Grace is..."

"Ok?"

"She is a Muggle witch, so deduct 20 points."

A glint flashed in Praris's eyes: "He must have said something even worse."

As it turns out, Prarees knew the Slytherins quite well.

“That’s right.” Astoria looked conflicted. “Plares, you won’t tell anyone, right? I used to think there was nothing wrong with purebloods. I wasn’t against purebloods, but Grace was different. But now…”

Pure-blood ideology was part of Astoria's upbringing, but she made an exception for her friendships.

Even now, Warrington calling Grace a "mudblood" hurts her.

“Just because you don’t hurt her doesn’t mean others won’t,” Praris reasoned. “As long as this kind of thinking exists, she will always be hurt. It’s just that the person pointing a knife at her won’t be you.”

This ideology refers to pure-blood chauvinism.

Astoria stared at her in astonishment: "You! Could it be that you..."

“Shh.” Prareas patted Astoria on the shoulder, as if entrusting her with some kind of trust. “Keep my thoughts a secret, okay? Just like you would with Grace.”

“You’re a prefect, and you’re a member of the investigation team, how could you…” Astoria still couldn’t accept this fact.

Praris laughed and said, "You're Greengrass, how do you have a friend like Grace? Leah, it's the same, we're both outliers in the crowd."

The phrase "We are all outcasts" easily categorizes Astoria and herself as being in the same camp.

Astoria's pupils trembled; she hadn't expected that Praris, who was now serving Umbridge, would share the same thoughts as her.

Leia knew about Prader's relationship with Draco, and it was precisely because she knew that she was surprised. After all, Draco Malfoy was someone who had called people "Mudbloods"!

But Praris easily persuaded her again.

Yes, she grew up in Greengrass, in a family that was pure-blooded, but didn't she also develop different ideas?

Praris patted her on the shoulder: "Lia, what makes a person a certain kind of person is not just having people like that around her, but also what she wants to be, what she is determined to be, and what she works tirelessly to achieve—let's go!"

Astoria was different. She showed early on ideas that differed from those of typical Slytherins, much to Daphne's dismay.

Warrington created a perfect opportunity for Praris. This allowed Praris to successfully provoke Lydia's rebellious nature, nurture the seeds of her egalitarian ideals, and pull her into his camp.

From "I won't do it" to starting to think "it's not enough for me to just not do it," Prarese was happy to nurture the budding ideas in Leah, encouraging her to "choose what kind of person to be and work tirelessly towards that goal."

Prarese suddenly realized that this was probably why she had been made a prefect.

If she weren't the prefect, Lydia might not have had any interaction with her, let alone so easily confided her feelings to her or been influenced by her.

……

Praris held up the mirror with one hand, looking at the somewhat chaotic scene opposite him, wondering if he was hallucinating.

“Tell us, Prarese! Harry says you testified for Umbridge and drove Dumbledore away—I don’t believe it!”

Hermione forcefully pulled Harry into the two-way mirror's field of vision, demanding that the two confront each other.

What she didn't say was that Harry, in a fit of anger, also claimed that Prarese did it to get a membership in the investigation team.

Hermione was furious! There wasn't even an investigation team back then!

“That means you have a brain,” Praris said sharply. “Dumbledore needs to leave Hogwarts; it’s part of the plan.”

"He told you, but not me?" Harry's voice was full of disbelief.

“He didn’t say anything!” Praris sneered. “Naturally, he didn’t communicate with that Auror either.”

Dumbledore said nothing, but Kingsley secretly altered Mary's memories to facilitate their actions.

Silence fell on both sides of the mirror, and Harry lowered his head somewhat awkwardly.

Well, Kingsley and Prarese are both incredibly smart, but he's a complete idiot.
