As Prarese said, it's as if when someone dies, she becomes someone everyone should grieve for.

Although Mundungus was a petty thief and a coward in life, he deserves our silence after he paid the price for this war with his life.

The three of them simultaneously placed their hands on the door key.

After a sensation of being hooked and pulled in the stomach, all three of them landed heavily on the ground at the same time.

Lupin and Moody both pointed their wands at Winnie, signaling for Ms. Prie to ask her a question.

Ms. Priscilla asked softly, "Darling, what was the gift I gave the child three years ago?"

"A formal gown?" Winnie said in surprise. "What? Three years? It's been exactly four years now!"

“It’s true.” Ms. Prie nodded to Moody.

“Alastor Moody!” Winnie shouted angrily, “I bravely fought the mysterious man, and you doubt me!”

Moody immediately roared back, "Not just you, I suspect everyone! There's a traitor among us, the plan was leaked, that's why they know the transfer is today! Where's Mundungus?!"

Moody wouldn't forget his instructions before he left. Was Mundungus a traitor, which is why Winnie killed him?

“Dung is dead,” Mr. Weasley said in a trembling voice, kneeling beside the sofa. “George and I both saw it.”

Winnie then noticed that George Weasley was missing an ear and half his face was covered in blood. Seeing this, she quickly told Moody and Lupin everything that had happened to Mundungus.

Bill, as if remembering something, suddenly exclaimed, "What about Prince? She can give me a new face, and maybe even new ears!"

"What new ears!"

Harry had just fallen flat on his back with the Portkey when he heard those words. He was immediately met with the same greeting from Winnie, who questioned him about his past.

"This is the Shadowless Blade!" Upon hearing that Snape was responsible and seeing George's wound, he quickly said, "Praris definitely knows how to break the curse—Hermione, Two-Way Mirror!"

Hermione shook her head hesitantly: "Harry, you forgot, I've already returned my two-way mirror to Praris."

Everyone present was silent.

Harry, undeterred, immediately turned to Winnie and Ms. Priscilla: "Where will Praris go for the summer vacation?"

"In previous years it was the Leaky Cauldron?" Winnie said uncertainly, "But since Prim came to the Order of the Phoenix, she's been staying at my house for the summer instead. But now even my house isn't safe..."

Hermione suddenly stood up: "She seemed to have mentioned going to Devonshire, which is her family's hometown!"

“Derwin is my hometown, specifically in Godric’s Hollow,” Ms. Prie said. “But all my family members in Godric’s Hollow have passed away, and she doesn’t know where our hometown is!”

Ms. Prie's maternal grandmother, Gwendrine Purnell (originally Gwendrine Prince), was a distant relative of Praris, but Ms. Prie never let Praris know this.

Prim didn't want Praris to think their relationship was based on blood ties.

She would gladly accept any girl's request to give up her household registration if Dumbledore told her that doing so would free any girl—even if they were complete strangers.

But her feelings for Praris stemmed entirely from the fact that Praris was a very, very good kid, which was different from her simple desire to help the girl.

For a time, no one knew where Praris had gone.

“Perhaps she went on a trip!” Ms. Prie said softly. “Little Prie has had a hard life before, and it’s good that she’s willing to stop and rest… The summers in the southwest are very, very beautiful.”

Unable to find Prader's help for George, the Order of the Phoenix's operations couldn't be halted. Moody, Lupin, and Harry discussed the traitor; the Weasleys were heartbroken over George; Prim was tending to Winnie's wounds...

Not long after, Tonks and Sirius, the last pair, arrived at Number Twelve Grimmauld Place. As one of the strongest fighting duos, both were battered and bruised, but looked like they had thoroughly enjoyed the fight.

Chapter 201 Trust

When the two of them entered the Blake family's old house, they learned that Mundungus had already died a heroic death.

“I forced him to go.” Moody took the blame without hesitation. “Mundungus proposed the stand-in plan, but he is a coward. I was afraid that he would betray us for money, or because he was afraid of being scared.”

If it weren't for Mundungus who came up with this brilliant plan, Moody wouldn't even have involved him in the fight; he would have preferred to bring Ron or Hermione along.

Moody wasn't Dumbledore; he couldn't be sure he could cover for all the mistakes. They had already learned their lesson from Peter Pettigrew and dared not ignore the possibility of any cowardly comrade defecting.

Only Winnie Brown possesses both formidable fighting skills and a deep understanding of the Death Eaters, including the vulnerability of Purnell. Moody witnessed her nearly killing Bellatrix after saving Sirius Black, confirming that this former Death Eater was ruthless—a trustworthy ally who would show no mercy.

Unfortunately, Winnie did her best, but Mundungus was not obedient enough.

Furthermore, an unexplained question is how the Death Eaters knew that Harry was moving today?

Many people present undoubtedly suspected Mundungus, but Mundungus is now dead, and to still suspect him of being a traitor would be too cruel.

“Alastor, this isn’t your fault. It was the Mystic who killed Mundungus, not you,” Kingsley suddenly said. “The battlefield is unpredictable, and you did your best to make the best arrangements.”

A harsh reality is that the person who makes the decision bears the greatest responsibility. Those who execute the plan may not follow it exactly, but if the plan ultimately fails, the blame always falls back on the decision-maker.

People always expect leaders to think a hundred steps ahead and make flawless decisions, but humans aren't wizards playing chess; they inherently possess agency. The problem is that these decisions often involve lives, and no one can bear the long-term consequences, yet ultimately someone must make those decisions.

Kingsley understood this feeling, so he pleaded with Moody to let him off the hook. Ironically, no one considered that the last person to bear a greater responsibility was Dumbledore.

People unconditionally believe that Dumbledore is omniscient and omnipotent, so no one will comfort him and let him off the hook.

“I take full responsibility for Mundungus’s death, but it was an accident,” Moody said, shaking his head. “The Mysterious Man’s original target was Winnie; he hated Winnie’s betrayal…”

“I understand what you mean, you suspect Mundungus!” Sirius Black suddenly stood up from the corner. “Yes! I also hate that despicable Mundungus, but it’s obvious the Death Eaters don’t know we have seven Potters. If Mundungus really betrayed us, why didn’t he tell them that crucial information!”

The members of the Order of the Phoenix argued back and forth. Some suspected Mundungus, some felt it couldn't be done, as it would discourage others, and some believed that if it wasn't thoroughly investigated, there would always be hidden dangers...

Winnie and Ms. Prie stayed out of the way and didn't say a word, letting them argue as they pleased, figuring it was none of their business as long as Winnie wasn't dragged into it.

"Enough!" Harry suddenly stood up.

The entire living room fell silent, all eyes fixed on Harry, making him feel somewhat uneasy. He said nervously, "I think even if someone accidentally made a mistake, let it go!"

Harry learned an important lesson from Praris: trust.

Harry doubted Prader countless times because of her house, her love, and her mentor... but time and again, it proved that Prader was a trustworthy partner.

This transformation was not easy, but the doubts that had already been there could not be completely erased, which in fact hurt Pralis, making her no longer need Harry even though Harry trusted her.

When Harry asked Hermione for the two-way mirror, he felt a deep sense of shame: they were paying the price for the rifts caused by the past—people only regret things when they truly learn their lesson.

No help is taken for granted, nor is Praris's existence and assistance, nor is the sacrifice made in overcoming academic prejudice...

Harry recalled Prarese saying that Dumbledore's greatness lay in his courage to give trust.

Even Hagrid was once tricked into revealing information about the Philosopher's Stone for the sake of a dragon egg, wasn't he?

He mimicked Dumbledore and Pramanix's calm and clear tone, saying, "The mistakes of the past are in the past. We must look to the future. Now is the crucial moment in the fight against Voldemort. We need unity and mutual trust. I believe in everyone here, and I believe that no one here would betray my life."

"This is terrible."

Praliss collapsed onto the sofa, her tense nerves relaxing only to be met with deep exhaustion. But she didn't rest for long before getting up to get Dumbledore his medicine.

The past few days were a rare period of peace and recuperation for Dumbledore, but he soon experienced tonight's thrilling assassination attempt.

Okay, actually there are other reasons too.

Prader was worried about Professor Snape and Draco. She feared that last night's assassination attempt might implicate Professor Snape, and that if it happened at Malfoy Manor, it might implicate Draco.

Voldemort had already set up defenses around the Malfoy family, yet people were still able to enter the manor. It would be difficult for the manor's owners to avoid being implicated.

Someone has to take responsibility for the series of failures. Peter Pettigrew, who is in charge of feeding Nagini, is completely unqualified. It's just a matter of who knows where Voldemort will direct his anger.

“Prareth,” Dumbledore said, “I need you to do something.”

Praris looked up and reminded him, "You owe enough debts."

"Debt is no burden." Dumbledore shrugged.

Praris raised an eyebrow: "Speak, what is it?"

“I need you to confirm—” Dumbledore’s eyes gleamed, “whether the locket has been destroyed by Harry.”

Of the seven Horcruxes, five have now been definitively destroyed. The remaining items are the locket that Dumbledore held in his hand before his death and Harry himself.

"Is it really that simple?" Praris asked in surprise.

Dumbledore smiled: "This is no easy task."

Its daybreak.

Dumbledore was wrong; it was a simple job.

He knew for himself that the Order of the Phoenix was located at number twelve Grimmauld Place, and that the owner of the house, Sirius Black, was still alive. After Dumbledore's death, the place had been reinforced with security measures, making it the safest place available.

Prarese released his owl near the British Museum to tell Hermione he wanted to see her. Surprisingly, Hermione replied quickly, saying she would come to see him immediately.

"what happens?"

Prarese waited for Hermione at the coffee shop in Russell Square and even ordered some chestnut cake for her.

Hermione's face was filled with struggle. After a long while, she finally said, "Would you be willing to help George?"

In fact, there was some controversy within the Order of the Phoenix regarding inviting Prares to treat George at 12 Grimmauld Place.

The Weasleys certainly had no objections to George's sake. They all trusted the girl who had helped Bill.

But Moody, suffering from the aftereffects of war, was suspicious of everyone, and he thought Praris's appearance at this time was too suspicious.

Yesterday, everyone learned that Prarese had gone to Devon, and today she suddenly appeared in London, and it just so happens to be daytime after the Order of the Phoenix's operation—it would be strange not to be suspicious!

“Then we won’t treat her!” Winnie said angrily. “It’s as if Pry knows someone here needs her!”

Moody had to emphasize: "I'm not targeting Prince, but her connection with Snape is well-known!"

Harry and Hermione exchanged bewildered glances. They both knew that Snape was related to Prader. Now, Snape had cut off George's ear, yet Prader was expected to help him regenerate it—it was far too awkward.

“I used to be a Death Eater!” Winnie said nonchalantly. “Sirius is still Black, and Tonks still has to call Bellatrix ‘Auntie’!”

After a brief argument, the living room fell eerily quiet again.

In the early hours of the morning, Harry's words, echoed by all the members of the Order of the Phoenix, served the same purpose once again. He said, "Whether we need Prasris now or not, I don't object to her coming here—if Sirius doesn't mind. Mad-Eye, I trust Prasris to be reliable."

“I think Harry is right,” Hermione, who had been silent all along, suddenly spoke up. “Mad-Eye, when you were locked up by Barty Crouch Jr., it was Prader who rescued you—she ruined Barty Crouch Jr.’s plans!”

This was something that many people present had never heard of before, and even Moody himself didn't know who had taken him out of the box.

Ultimately, they chose to send Hermione to see Praris.

Hermes felt unhappy. She believed that some members of the Order of the Phoenix did not truly believe in Praris, but were simply required to believe in him—there was a difference.

Hermione didn't want Prader to know about this; she was afraid of hurting him. But she had grown accustomed to being unable to hide her thoughts from Prader and sharing her feelings with him.

“That’s not important,” Prarees said calmly. “Many people don’t believe in Dumbledore, nor do they respect him. But they need Dumbledore.”

This includes Prarese herself, who believes she is just one of the people who need Dumbledore.

Praris isn't the pound sterling; even if it were, some people would treat money like dirt. For a strong person, how others perceive her is unimportant; what matters is whether she can achieve her goals.
