HP North Star's Radiance

Prarese is young and has unlimited potential. Even as a student, she has achieved levels that are beyond the reach of ordinary people; her future is even more limitless.
If Voldemort were a leader with any long-term vision, he wouldn't have chosen to prematurely exhaust her talents, forcing her to take such a huge risk during her student years.
Clearly, without having actually come into contact with Voldemort, Prareas was assuming that Voldemort's actions were those of a leader of a well-structured wizarding organization.
But Praris was wrong, terribly wrong.
Voldemort was not that kind of wizard.
"Failure is temporary, Snape."
"Help your students overcome it and continue their research!"
"Whatever she needs, let Yaxley take care of it and fulfill her needs!"
From Professor Snape's description, Prarese sensed a kind of urgency and a kind of certainty.
Praris believed Voldemort's condition was worse than they had anticipated, and he desperately wanted a way to repair his soul, even if it meant taking a huge risk. His desire to mend his soul had completely overwhelmed his rationality; he had no long-term plan, only immediate gains.
Voldemort was not only not a clear-headed leader, but also a fanatical and insane dark wizard. If he would send Draco to kill, he wouldn't hesitate to put Prareas at risk, even if Prareas had greater value.
Secondly, Snape hinted to Prairie that Voldemort might see immense power in this danger, even if it was unstable. He probably felt that Prairie was on the right track, just not mature enough... I really don't know where he got that confidence from!
During the conversation, Professor Snape's tone remained stern and cold, but Prarese sensed a vague sense of unease.
He paused for a moment before saying, "The Dark Lord admires you."
"He...thinks you have great potential, especially in your bold experimentation, and that you are a qualified Slytherin."
Slytherins are always ruthless in their pursuit of victory.
Praris was truly heartbroken. What goes around comes around, and sooner or later it would be her turn to make a mistake!
But even if given the chance again, Praris would still make the same choice, because it was the best decision at the time.
Given the possibility of scaring Voldemort away with the danger and indefinitely delaying the experiment, Prarese would never choose any other, more dangerous method!
"To receive the Dark Lord's praise..." Praris said with a forced smile, "is my honor."
Snape seemed to be implying something: "That's quite rare."
Prarese paused, her gaze meeting Snape's, her lips parting slightly—she understood, she understood completely.
Professor Snape meant that Voldemort seemed to have already intended to recruit her into the Death Eaters, but hadn't said it yet!
Praris's eyes flickered, his heart pounded like a drum, and a thousand thoughts flashed through his mind.
Yes, Voldemort has made up his mind to make her "overcome" failure, which means he hopes she will achieve her ultimate goal. Although Pralis's experiment is currently still in the "enhancement" stage, once Voldemort has this idea, there is no room for maneuver.
Since Voldemort made this decision, he could not allow an uncontrollable "outsider" to complete the final experiment—he had to turn Praris into a controllable servant.
Praris smiled wryly to himself: "Fine, when it comes to this with Dracodon, even the Dark Mark can't be missed."
That's impossible.
Praris will not allow this to happen!
Voldemort's madness has further proven that he would not be a good leader.
Once Pralis became a Death Eater, the soul experiments would inevitably continue. If the experiments stalled or failed for an extended period, the impatient Voldemort would unpredictably punish her. However, if the soul experiments succeeded, Voldemort's weakness would be mitigated to some extent.
And Praris will be forever bound to Voldemort because of this stupid experiment—Voldemort will never allow anyone who can influence his soul to leave his sight.
Prior to this, Prarese's idea was to delay deeper research by acknowledging the dangers of the experiment; she did not want the DAs to cause further damage for the time being.
The trouble caused by burning the herbs was enough for her to find an excuse to delay for a while; she could also pretend to have hit a bottleneck and drag it out for a while longer.
Too much destruction would make Praris appear incompetent and would also lead to stronger retaliation from the Death Eaters against the DA. She would not do this unless absolutely necessary, even if the DA would be extremely happy to do so.
But now things are different, and Prarese is beginning to consider agreeing to DA's request to further sabotage the experiment.
"I've been conducting experiments at Hogwarts all this time," Praris pondered. "If Voldemort had to choose a time to inscribe the Dark Mark on me, when would he choose?"
"Voldemort is a ritualistic wizard, as can be seen from his choice of Horcruxes," Praris muttered to himself. "He certainly wouldn't just pick any ordinary night to make me a Death Eater. That would disrupt my experimental rhythm and inspiration, and it wouldn't fit his aesthetic."
"Either, after the second experiment succeeds, it meets the requirement that it won't affect my rhythm, and I can still use 'becoming a Death Eater' as a 'reward'."
"Either it's the Easter holiday, which suits his tastes, and I'll have a good reason to leave school and not attract attention."
Praris can control the timing of the former.
The latter's time is not far off.
"But I don't think so," Snape said, defying Voldemort. "My master's expectations of you are too high, and you don't have the ability to meet them. Your experiments have encountered difficulties lately, haven't they?"
Praris lowered his head obediently: "Professor, I'm so sorry..."
Snape said coldly, "I thought you deserved this recognition only if you did something useful for the Dark Lord, didn't you?"
"Of course!" Praris said obediently, "You're right."
Prareas understood that this was Snape conveying his approach.
The professor must have already exhausted his words with Voldemort, listing her shortcomings in detail as a long-time Potions professor, just as he had belittled her in front of the Carol siblings.
But once Voldemort made up his mind, even Snape couldn't change it. He could only try to delay as much as possible, demanding that she be "rewarded" after she achieved something, to prevent her from becoming arrogant.
Praris looked up, his gaze sharp: "Professor, I will certainly not let the Dark Lord down."
It's fake; she will definitely disappoint the Dark Lord.
Pralis couldn't tell Draco any of these inside details. She simply asked him, "What do you think the 'reward' for a successful mission would be?"
She rolled up her sleeves, revealing her fair and clean left arm, which was bare, but Draco understood what she meant—precisely because there was nothing there now.
Draco's already pale face drained of all color in an instant. No one knew better than him the harm of becoming a Death Eater: the downfall of his family, the fear in his heart, and so many other unavoidable circumstances...
He couldn't match any of the words in this book with Praris, couldn't imagine that Praris would suffer, be afraid, be troubled, lose her freedom, or submit to anyone... Loving someone makes one lose the cruel imagination, and it's hard to imagine that misfortune would befall her.
Of course, Draco had more confidence in Praris's abilities than she did. He believed Praris could do well anywhere and that she would definitely gain Voldemort's favor.
As a Death Eater and his son, Draco knew that he should never help Praris do something against Voldemort's will.
But... Draco slowly reached out, his long, slender fingers touching Praris's arm skin, then quickly withdrew as if burned—the yet-to-be-born Dark Mark had burned him.
“I had no choice!” Draco took a step back, his face as pale as a vampire’s. “I had no choice but to go down this path! But you… but you… you have no such responsibility… no… if you really don’t want to…”
Draco turned his head to the side, his left hand twitching involuntarily: "I don't know anything!"
Of the two choices Prares gave him, Draco ultimately chose the latter, which also meant that he would hide his girlfriend's infidelity from Voldemort.
In fact, the other option is still to keep it a secret; the only difference between the two is whether it's proactive or not—Praris never intended to give Draco any other options.
This wasn't the first time Draco had done this.
At first, he concealed Prader's relationship with Winnie from his parents, and later he concealed Prader's connection with Dumbledore. Now, he is only "adding insult to injury."
The bottom line was gradually retreated until there was nowhere left to retreat.
If you can't be completely honest with your partner, then try not to lie to them.
Prader knew she could easily put on an act in front of Carol and her brother, but she couldn't do it in front of Draco and Pansy. This was not only because of her respect for those two relationships, but also because they would eventually discover Prader's unusual behavior.
There are two kinds of people in the world who cannot be hidden from you: those who truly hate you and those who truly love you.
In order to be efficient, she decided to deal with Draco and let Draco deal with Pansy.
Draco was persuaded by Prareas, and his choice was within Prareas's expectations, but she was still moved when she actually saw the choice Draco made.
The stingy are generous, the wicked are kind, the cowardly are courageous... People always ask why bad people are praised for doing a good deed, while good people are scolded for doing a bad deed.
It's quite simple: generosity goes against the nature of the miser. The same principle applies to kindness towards the wicked and courage towards the cowardly.
Doing good deeds will earn you praise. It's harder for bad people to do good deeds than for good people who always do good deeds, because they have to go against their usual way of doing things, so they can get more praise.
Doing bad things will inevitably lead to being criticized behind one's back. It is more difficult for a good person to do bad things than for someone who is always doing bad things. They have to overcome their inner moral constraints, and naturally they will receive more condemnation.
This is human nature. Human nature is such a strange thing, confusing and disappointing, but it really exists.
Draco has never been a courageous person; he lets his henchmen fight and hides behind his girlfriend when danger arises... But now, he's going to pretend he knows nothing for his girlfriend's sake.
Pralis grabbed Draco's left hand and pressed his left arm against her face. She was separated from Draco's Dark Mark by only a thin layer of her shirt.
“It will all end,” Prarese said. “It will all end.”
Draco didn't dare to delve into the meaning of her words. He simply hugged Praris tightly, as if someone were about to take away the person he loved.
In the underground corridor, Amicus stopped Praris and took him away for education.
“You shouldn’t have let anyone into your lab!” he warned in a low voice. “Secrecy, have you forgotten everything?”
“Draco is no stranger,” Praris said matter-of-factly. “He’s one of us, in every sense of the word.”
Amycus had to admit that Praris was right. Draco was a Death Eater and her boyfriend—wasn't he one of their own?
“But that kid isn’t within the scope of knowledge for this mission!” Amicus was furious, but his obesity made him short of breath, and he let out heavy, labored breathing. “Even my sister, Alecto, only knows that you’re conducting experiments, but she doesn’t know exactly what you’re doing!”
“Draco is the same.” Praris, even when arguing, looked listless and impatient. “Come on, in this castle, apart from me, Professor Snape, and Professor Slughorn, no one can easily understand what I’m doing right now.”
"Are you so sure..."
“I’m sure.” Prareus interrupted Amycus. “Professor Carlo, my schedule is very busy. Professor Snape told me that the Dark Lord wants your cooperation.”
Her implication was that I could tell you weren't cooperating with me at all, and that you were just wasting my time.
Prarese brought up Voldemort, and Amicus had no choice but to let the witch leave, though he was actually quite unwilling—he was busy with his schedule!
Busy with what? Busy dating Malfoy in the lab, being all lovey-dovey, and then the two of them holding hands affectionately as they head back to the Slytherin common room!
Amicus had intended to inquire about Praris's research progress, as she hadn't shown any signs of reporting anything for several days.
He actually saw the diligence I had been expecting.
The result was that they were diligently engaged in romance!
Amicus was furious.
Ever since she made something of herself, this woman has become arrogant. She accused the brother and sister of burning herbs and now she's using the Dark Lord's words to pressure them!
Chapter 261 Explosion Accident
*Kiss* *Kiss*
Bubbles rose from the cauldron, and as the wand was waved, the potion's color gradually changed from a warm yellow to a shimmering, golden hue.
The potion in the cauldron was very different from the original Joy Potion. The original was a sunny golden yellow, while the potion in front of me was sparkling, as if it had been mixed with some kind of glitter.
