HP North Star's Radiance

This was the first time he had endured so much hardship and devoted so much time and energy, all in the name of wanting to gain something, to prove himself, and to seize honor.
A mysterious force, absurd and impossible to him, stirred within him, causing him to release his grip on the broom and lunge towards the golden thief.
He thought, perhaps this is the power of Felix Felicis!
After drinking Felix Felicis, he'll definitely be able to beat Potter, absolutely!
Two-thirds of Draco's body left the broom, his hand brushed past Potter's hand, and he and the broom crashed into Potter, both falling from the air.
"what--"
A huge scream erupted from the audience as two figures, one green and one red, plummeted to the ground like birds struck by a long arrow.
Mrs. Hooch immediately mounted her broom and flew towards the field, but she was no match for the players already on the field. The two Seekers had already been separated by their teammates.
"Who got the Golden Snitch?" Miles shouted.
"Who won?" Wood asked nervously.
"Harry! Harry! Are you alright, Harry!" Fred patted Harry up and down, checking on his safety.
"Draco, are you alright?" Marcus helped Draco up.
While Harry was curled up in a ball, Draco was screaming in bursts. He had fallen and was rolling around, clutching the arm that had been kicked by the hippogriff.
"Let him go quickly, let me see him!" Madam Huoqi rushed over.
Hearing Mrs. Hodge's words, Draco, his hands trembling, shoved something into Marcus's hand, his breath coming in gasps as he stammered, "Tell that arrogant Prince that I won! I'm not the loser!"
The Golden Snitch unfolded in Marcus's hand, its wings buzzing.
When the Golden Snitch appeared from Marcus's hands, Miles excitedly hugged Bor: "It's Draco! Draco got it! He flew past the rocket crossbow! He snatched the Golden Snitch!"
Using his size advantage, Millison shoved aside Lee Jordan, who was leaning on his arm and squinting to see the Seeker's condition, and shouted, "At the last moment, Slytherin seized the crucial opportunity! Draco Malfoy sprinted ahead of Harry Potter, sacrificing himself to the Golden Snitch, and won the final victory! Congratulations to Slytherin!"
"Ah!" Pansy hugged Praris tightly and screamed, "Draco won! Draco won!"
Praris breathed a sigh of relief and, for once, showed a happy smile, hugging Pansy back.
The Slytherin dressing room was still crowded with Slytherins who had come to visit the victors, even though Draco had been sent to Madam Pomfrey.
Milison held Priece's hand: "Priece, you have no idea how dangerous the last moment was. Draco's light wheel could never outrun Potter's rocket crossbow, but he saw through Potter's feint and discovered the Golden Snitch's true location, setting off before him."
"Potter needed time to turn around, which gave Draco an opportunity, but Potter still caught up. The Rocket Crossbow and his teamwork was amazing! I really don't know how Draco did it in the end. With such a small distance, he actually managed to pounce on the Golden Snitch! Ahhhh! He's incredible!"
Marcus heard Milison's hoarse voice and finally spotted Praris.
He pushed aside the Slytherins surrounding them and said to Millison, "Excuse me, esteemed great commentator, I need to borrow your clever friend!"
Praris was pulled out of the changing room in a daze, and the two stood in a deserted corner.
“Little Pu, I have to thank you and Stella,” Marcus said bluntly. “I have a bottle of wine in my dorm; have Stella come back and get it from me.”
Praris said disdainfully, "Don't be like Stella, always giving me names."
Marcus pleaded, "OK, fine, Pray. And you too, what do you want? Tell me before the holiday."
"Is this all you're telling me?" Praris asked incredulously.
Marcus pressed his temples. "And another thing. Draco said—I think he was too emotional at the time, but he asked me to tell you, and perhaps you should listen to what he said himself. I don't think that's what he really meant..."
Praris blinked. "Don't be like a shy couple. Just say what you mean. Do you think I have a heart made of glass?"
Marcus still looked hesitant: "Uh, he said, he said, 'Tell that arrogant Praris that I won.'"
Praris raised an eyebrow: "So, the last thing he said before he lost consciousness was to provoke me, right?"
“I don’t think so. He probably wants to declare his victory to you,” Marcus tried to explain.
"Arrogant and disrespectful?"
"Uh--"
Praris patted him on the shoulder: "Just kidding! With a mouth like his, what nice things could he possibly say?"
Marcus breathed a sigh of relief: "I was really afraid you'd get angry. I heard you know hundreds of poisons."
"Is this what they call a rumor that spreads from one person to ten, and from ten to a hundred? My original words were dozens of different versions..."
"Isn't that enough?"
That night, Slytherin fooled around until very late. They celebrated their victory without even needing the key figures to be present.
They kept making a ruckus until 1 a.m., when Professor Snape couldn't take it anymore and came over to remind them to get some rest.
Praris lay in bed, looking at the gauze curtains beside her, and suddenly felt that this feeling of victory was wonderful.
Prareus put a lot of thought into this Slytherin victory.
From that conversation with Draco, she began to plot and guide him to confront his inner conflicts.
She then sought Stella's endorsement to jointly devise a new strategy against Harry Potter.
Finally, she had to use a placebo to coax Draco, giving him a crucial bit of courage.
Ah, right, that was a placebo.
To be precise, it's drinking water with added honey, and it's safe and harmless.
Will the Dark Lord cause trouble again this year? Will Harry Potter thwart the plot of the Dark Lord and the Death Eaters again? Will he steal the honor that Draco fought so hard for?
Praris didn't know.
Compared to the possibility of the Mystic's return, the outcome of the battles between the schools seemed insignificant. Therefore, when faced with the key to defeating the Mystic, Dumbledore repeatedly trained Potter, rewarding him with 100 or 200 points to encourage his and his companions' courage.
Prarees saw all of this, so it was difficult for her to criticize Dumbledore.
But if—if Harry Potter wants to do something this year, Praris is determined not to stand idly by!
As a Gryffindor, Dumbledore could be biased, but as the headmaster, his bias deeply wounded the hearts of Slytherins.
It's time for Slytherin to have a moment of glory, isn't it?
Unlike last time when he spent many days at Madam Pomfrey's, Draco returned the next day.
With his arm in a sling, he was full of life, telling everyone about his bravery.
“Yes, that was very dangerous!” Draco exclaimed boastfully. “Potter was trying to trick me, to tell me he’d found the Golden Snitch! But I have a keen eye and saw right through his scheme! I didn’t even glance at him; I pinpointed the Golden Snitch’s location in a second!”
"So you're really amazing?"
“Of course!” Draco waved his good hand and continued, “So what if Potter was riding a rocket crossbow? I shot out like a Muggle bullet and snatched the Golden Snitch in one go. Unfortunately, Potter was narrow-minded and couldn’t stand to see me win, so he maliciously knocked me off my broom!”
"That's really arrogant."
"What 'disrespectful'—"
Draco suddenly froze, as if stuck, and slowly turned around to meet a pair of dark eyes.
“Yes, who’s so arrogant?” Praris asked softly. “I’m really curious.”
A minute later, Draco stood in the corridor, facing the scenery outside, looking at the sky, the ground, the trees, the flowers, and the birds, but not at Praris.
“One hundred Galleons.” Praris extended his hand generously.
Draco let out a puzzled "Ah."
Praris exclaimed with an exaggerated expression of surprise, "What? The only son of the Malfoy family is going to dine and dash? Felix Felicis, isn't it worth a hundred gallons? Others would love to have it but can't get it!"
"Ah, well, I don't have that much pocket money right now..."
Draco panicked; he was the kind of person who never worried about running out of money.
His mother did give him a fair amount of pocket money, but he always bought whatever he wanted, and he'd also been to Hogsmeade several times this semester. His unrestrained spending left him with only thirty-odd Galleons at the end of the semester, far from enough to pay for Felix Felicis.
Chapter 61 Fructus Felicis
Prareas stared intently at Draco with sharp eyes, making Draco feel uneasy and his eyes twitch.
Draco dared not look Praris in the eye again. He turned to look out the window and saw a clump of daisies swaying in the wind.
He acted nonchalant and indifferent, but his words were incoherent: "Hmph! Do you think I'm so poor that I can't afford one hundred gallons... That's ridiculous. You can't assume everyone else is stingy just because you are... Enough, stop looking. I'm writing to my father right now!"
puff!
"Hahaha, hahahaha!" Praris laughed. At first, she covered her face and laughed, but then she laughed so hard that she couldn't stop.
Draco was initially bewildered, standing there helplessly: "Isn't it time to stop, Praris? Did you cast a happiness spell on yourself?"
He quickly realized that Prince was simply mocking him. He reverted to his smug, impatient demeanor: "Look at you, Prince! How boring! I guess you brought me here just to laugh at me, didn't you?"
Praris waved his hand, straightened up, and took a deep breath.
After catching her breath, she crossed her arms, leaned against a pillar, and raised an eyebrow at Draco: "Hey, how do you think you won?"
Draco, looking utterly incredulous, said, "Do you really need a thank you from me?"
“We don’t need it, but if you put it that way—then we really do need it.” Praris’s inherent wickedness was impossible to hide.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you! Is it all done now!"
Draco, in a fit of despair, kept saying "thank you" over and over. It's likely he'd never expressed so much gratitude to anyone before; he usually reserved such words for sarcasm and provocation.
“Say one more,” Praris pressed on.
Draco was furious. He took two quick steps and rushed up to Praris: "Prince, do you think you're a puppeteer and me your puppet? Do you think I have to do whatever you want?!"
Prareas blinked, her long eyelashes casting a small shadow beneath her eyes: "You should thank me, but this is for yourself, Draco."
"How do you think you won? With Felix Felicis? I'm not the kind of person who would help you cheat. You know, using Felix Felicis during competitions and exams is against the rules."
Draco stopped, opening his mouth to speak: "But, but back then..."
“Do you know that it takes at least six months to brew a single vial of Felix Felicis the size of a thumb?” Prares said slowly. “The only person I know who can make Felix Felicis right now is Professor Snape, but he wouldn’t give me a Fire Serpent’s eggshell to practice on.”
Praris took a step forward, and Draco instinctively took a step back. Praris continued to move forward, and Draco continued to retreat.
Praris, looking smug, said, "Draco, doesn't that smell familiar? I dissolved the sizzling honey candy Millie gave me for Halloween in water. Yes, that's right, it's the Felix Felicis you drank. I let it sit for ages! Hours, I think."
Draco's expression was complex. He was shocked, yet it was clear he was relieved to know the truth; he was angry, but Praris had silenced him a minute earlier.
He was at a loss for words, feeling as if he were being manipulated by this wicked witch.
Prarese added, "You lost to Potter not just because you focused all your attention on Potter. Sure, it prevented you from concentrating on finding the Golden Snitch and wasted time you could have spent training."
"But there's another reason, and that's that you're not brave enough. But that's not your fault, it's a common problem among Slytherins."
