Tokusatsu: How come this knight drama is different?!

It turns out that the Zeztz belt was currently strapped to his body...

This scene was witnessed by two police officers outside the ward who were investigating the "behind-the-scenes incident."

At the end of this episode, a white figure with a flamboyant hairstyle... uh, no, it's Knox. Knox arrives at the ward, along with...

And his "riddles":

Only the heart knows...

When Ume fell silent...

The world will awaken to a nightmare.

—End of this episode.

"Good morning, code NO.seven."

Chapter 809 Still in a Dream

[Open the fragrant cake!]

【We must open the incense cake!】

Isn't it champagne?

Holy crap, they fought the God of War in the very first episode!

[That special effect that turns hands into water is a bit ridiculous.]

Haha, you're right, that special effects were so cheap!

[Wuhu Takes Off - A Wonderful Start Ever!]

The first episode received a very good response, and the plot was also quite good. The only problem was the riddle-solving character at the end, but overall, the flaws did not outweigh the merits.

As for Yu Che's role as the store manager...

To be honest, not many people pay attention to this.

After all, Knox, who appeared last, naturally generated more discussion due to his Riddler attribute.

But then again...

It seems that Youche doesn't need popularity points much anymore.

After all, he had already obtained the power of destiny, the divine power of the Black and White Gods, and their divine status.

No matter how many popularity points you have, it's useless to You Che; there's no way to get him out of that divine space.

but……

If the Dream Link Project succeeds...

It's not impossible for them to leave.

……

A few weeks later, a new episode of Kamen Rider ZZZ premiered.

Over the past few weeks, the early storyline of zzz has been largely completed, and the main characters have been introduced.

The second and third episodes tell the story of Officer Fujimi Tetsuya.

Uncle Tetsuya is nominally the head of the Strange Cases Division, but there are doubts within the police department about the very existence of the Strange Cases Division.

Nightmare seized this opportunity, taking advantage of Uncle Tetsuya's eagerness to verify the authenticity of the "black box incident," and turned Uncle Tetsuya's thoughts into a nightmare.

Originally, Uncle Tetsuya only wanted to prove that the "black box incident" was real, so that the Strange Things Division would not be shut down.

However, Nightmare twisted this idea and went all out, blowing up the Metropolitan Police Department.

Now it's confirmed, but the cost of that confirmation is quite high.

The two-episode series used Tetsuya as the background to explain the concept of nightmares distorting the mind of the dream master, and then demonstrated the mechanics of Zeztz.

Not only can it deliver punches with real force, but it can also make its body stretch and contract as freely as if it ate the Rubber-Rubber Fruit. Oh, this is the Knight set, so it's just like the Luna form of a certain half-baked detective.

The following four or five episodes unfold a new subplot about a newlywed couple. The wife is afraid of flying, and Nightmare, acting like a simpleton, either has comprehension difficulties or a mental problem, insists on interpreting it as the plane exploding. (Okay, actually, Nightmare wants to torment the Dream Master to open a door. Once the door to the mind is fully open, Nightmare can travel to the real world.)

Yes, Zeztz also obtained his blue form during this side quest. (Is the Dream Capsule called Surge? Or Rising? Anyway, it's water-based.)

Episodes six and seven then shifted the focus to the cutest and most popular character in the entire Zeztz series!

Ning Meng Jiang!

—On his body.

(P.S.: By the way, rewatching this episode and comparing Ning Meng from the previous episodes with Ning Meng-chan in the latest episode...)

I've definitely gained weight...

Toei's pig farm, wow, it lives up to its reputation!

In short, it introduced Ning Mengjiang's background.

The manager of the talent agency treated Ning Meng like his own daughter. Then Ning Meng was in a car accident. Overwhelmed with guilt, the manager felt he hadn't protected Ning Meng properly, and a nightmare twisted his mind:

Oh, you don't want Ning Meng to get hurt? That's easy~ I'll just send your beloved Ning Meng into the whole prison, won't that solve the problem?

What? You still want to stay with Ning Mengjiang, the daughter you treat like your own? Then you can come in too!

Then, in this side quest, Zeztz's blue form showcases its new abilities, such as the clone skill common to most Riders.

Basically, all the main characters in the story have been introduced.

Knox, well, let's not even mention him. Every time he appears, he's spouting riddles, like a nightmare is coming or something could lead to destruction.

Simply put, it's someone who can't speak human language.

To be fair, while Tetsuya and Seika can't enter the dream world, they can still help Manjinmo in reality. (And believe it or not, although they lack combat abilities and can't enter the dream world, they haven't actually been a liability in reality. Perhaps it's because they're not knights that expectations for them are a bit low.)

And then there's the absolute cutest Ningmeng-chan~

Well, in the setting, Ning Meng seems to be an idol that everyone likes, so many people dream about her when they fall asleep.

In this worldview, Ning Meng's body is asleep in reality, so she travels around as an NPC in other people's dreams, and each time she appears, it is in a way that fits her role.

For example, in episodes 2 and 3, Uncle Tetsuya is a policeman for a day as the master of dreams; in episodes 4 and 5, he is a staff member at the wedding; in episodes 6 and 7, he is a prisoner. It can be said that Ning Meng's ability to wander around in other people's dreams is really quite abnormal.

Unfortunately, this ability doesn't seem to be proactive.

The last one...

That's You Che, the lazy manager of the coffee shop.

To be fair, You Che's screen time is indeed limited, less than ten minutes in total across seven episodes. Every time he appears, he's either asking Wan Jinmo, "Are you alright after just leaving the hospital?" or "Should you take a break?" or saying, "It's okay, I'll just close the shop since you're not here. I don't need the small salary from this shop anyway."

Of course, the audience isn't stupid; they'll see this kind of character who, although relegated to the background, appears in every episode...

Huh? He can even make coffee?!

Hiss... Could it be...?

Is it you, Mr. E?

But that doesn't make sense either. E's coffee is terrible, while You Che's is quite good.

Could it be that this person isn't a villain, but rather one of the main characters?

It doesn't look like it at all...

The audience was puzzled, but one thing was true.

That means Yu Che could never just be a background character.

Sunday is here, and episode 8 of zzz is airing on time.

Many audience members couldn't hold back their excitement right from the start.

Knox, dressed in a white suit, pressed his hand to his face, covering half of it, and then, in the dim yellow light, spoke with an air of utter villainy:

“zeztz, it’s finally time… for my plan to begin.”

Your nightmare...

It's time to wake up.

As always, a riddle teller; as always, inexplicable.

Then the OP started...

……

And the other side:

You Che squinted at Wan Jinmo.

Although Wan Jinmo himself may not realize it, You Che now holds the power of destiny. In other words, You Che can "see" whether Wan Jinmo is following "destiny" at this moment and what his destined future will be.

And Wan Jinmo is still living in a predetermined future...

Simply put, Wan Jinmo is actually still in a "sleep" state, and there is no progress in reality at all.

It can only be said that even in someone else's dream, Youche's ability cannot fail.

That's normal. If Yu Che suddenly becomes an ordinary person one day, then it means that fate, the position of the Black and White Gods have been cleared or suppressed, right?

Who is this person, so awesome?

In short, Wan Jinmo was not actually awake at all.

How can this be allowed?

If you follow the predetermined future...

So, my idea is to connect with dreams...

How long will it take to achieve this...?

Chapter 810 You son of a bitch...

"Hmm hmm hmm~"

Humming a song sung by Ning Meng, Wan Jinmo was in a good mood as he washed the cups.
