Why bother with dating when you already have a cat?

The other small, scattered tips, if accumulated, would probably amount to several hundred yuan.

Although it's not a particularly large number, it's only been ten days since the show started airing.

In addition to the income from live streaming, Xiaoyu also releases a video edit every other day.

Most of them are edited by her imitating other content creators, including her own chat content in the live broadcast room, as well as her usual wonderful operations.

Some videos only have a few thousand views.

Two videos were lucky and went smoothly in the competition, making it all the way to the top of the rankings, garnering 21 and 27 views respectively.

However, the video incentives alone don't amount to much money anymore; all of them together are only about two or three hundred yuan.

If you add it all up, the monthly income is actually quite considerable.

An income of three to four thousand a month is more than enough to cover our living expenses, and we still have a lot of surplus to spend on food and drinks.

If Xiaoyu's grades continue to improve, I can't even imagine how happy my life will be in the future.

Of course, this is just something to think about.

As the broadcasting time increases, the streamer will also enter a period of traffic bottleneck, and it will not be so easy to increase traffic.

Xiaoyu's fan base has now gradually grown to around 2.

While she's still a newbie on Bilibili, she's already considered to have passed the initial hurdle of becoming a virtual streamer.

But for it to continue to grow, it needs to have a video that breaks out of its niche and attracts a large number of fans all at once.

Otherwise, it's all a slow and painstaking process, and you can only gradually gain followers little by little.

For most virtual streamers, 10 followers is a major hurdle.

If you can overcome that hurdle, as long as you manage your own little plot of land well, you can basically be self-sufficient and take good care of yourself.

Fortunately, Xiaoyu's income is not higher than mine yet, otherwise, where would I put my face?

This novel is now slowly coming to an end.

I'm really torn about whether or not to write those side stories...

It's true that it can't be written in the main text, but readers say it can be put in the full subscription group.

But Xiaoyu is in the group that has a full subscription!

Are you really going to show it to her?

What if this girl really corrupts him?

I'm actually a little afraid that once she learns it, she'll sneak into my bed and ambush me in the middle of the night.

Does this mean I'll have to lock the door to sleep every day from now on?

Terrible.

……

March 10, Friday, sunny.

The payment was supposed to be made on the 12th, but the 12th of this month is a Sunday, so the payment was made on Friday instead.

The total is 22789.93, and after deducting taxes, there is still a little over 20,000 left.

If I could keep writing like this, earning over 20,000 yuan a month in royalties would be pretty great.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work.

Leaving aside whether readers will accept it if I write a long one, I estimate that I would have to write until I felt nauseous.

It's hard to imagine how authors who have written millions or even tens of millions of words have managed to persevere.

Anyway, I've only written about 65 words so far, and I'm already feeling tired.

If I persevere this month, I should be able to finish writing it. Then I can take a month off and start a new book in September.

I didn't spend too much money last month, and with this month's royalties, my savings are now over 30,000 yuan.

Xiaoyu has also received her income from last month. Together, the two of us have about 40,000 yuan.

Once the royalties come out next month, I should be able to save up more than 60,000 yuan.

Even if the next book flops, this money will be enough to get by for a long time; at least I won't starve this year.

Moreover, with the income from Xiaoyu's live streaming, it is relatively more stable compared to the highly uncertain model of online novels, which are published one book after another.

She has about ten captains who pay monthly fees. Although there is a possibility of them canceling their contracts halfway through, it is still much more stable than what I have.

If I really do fail in the future, I might have to rely on small fish to support me.

……

Sunday, August 12.

"The Chicken-Loving Teacher" has released the seventh installment of "Chicken-Eating God Highlights".

This is one of his signature segments, dedicated to recording the outrageous cheaters he encounters while playing PUBG, each one capable of flying and teleporting at will.

In addition, there are also some amazing videos submitted by viewers, each one quite entertaining.

This episode of the video has garnered a high number of views, surpassing one million in just two days.

On July 15th, a person named Zhou Xiaodong released a video.

The headline reads: [Solid Evidence! Virtual PUBG Streamer Ai Chiyu Confirmed by Top Streamer for Cheating!]

The video content is very simple; it's a segment from the latest video by "The Teacher Who Loves Chicken," which is exactly the same as some of the highlight reels from the account "Ai Chi Yu."

In the video posted by "The Teacher Who Loves Chicken", the cheat code "auto-aiming headlock" is clearly marked.

Whether it's due to riding the wave of popularity of "Teacher Who Loves Chicken" videos or not, Zhou Xiaodong's video also garnered a high number of views, quickly surpassing 500,000 views.

And it happened to be during the time when Xiaoyu was live streaming.

Soon, many people with nothing to do rushed into Ai Chiyu's live stream room.

Chapter 152: Cried from Being Scolded?

[They've already confirmed they're cheating, why are they still streaming?]

[Hilarious! What are you hiding for? Aim down for auto-aiming, what's there to be afraid of?]

[Where did this barking dog come from?]

[Just because someone's awesome doesn't mean they're cheating?]

Don't talk nonsense if you haven't watched the live stream, Xiaoyu's skills are undeniable.

At first, it was just a few people.

There were also many fans in the live stream who had been helping out.

Xiaoyu didn't care much, after all, when she read Ai Qing's novels before, there were many chapter comments that made people angry.

Later, Ai Qing told her not to mind, but she secretly created a new account to confront her.

But when it came to her own side, Xiaoyu didn't care much about these things; as long as she could make money, that was all that mattered.

If I can help my brother with his living expenses, I'll just let people say a few words.

But gradually, as time went on, Xiaoyu and the viewers in the live stream began to feel that something was wrong.

[Are you saying I'm cheating?]

Are you still here scamming people out of their money?

[The videos from the teacher's side have solidly proven that she's using an aimbot and headshot lock cheat, so please stop defending her, okay?]

[Just a virtual avatar has you all so mesmerized, you've lost your minds. With that kind of accuracy, even professionals would be utterly defeated.]

[Hilarious! Even professional players don't have this many highlight reels of shooting moving targets and headshotting drivers. Anyone with a brain knows it's fake for a girl to do that many.]

Stop being a simp, okay? And a cyberpunk simp at that? It's hilarious!

[A woman like this is incredibly ugly in real life; you guys can only fantasize about her online.]

[They're all scamming people by cheating in PUBG. They know tech geeks aren't easy to fool, so they just make a fake suit to scam anime fans, hahaha]

I don't know if it was the fans' previous defense that aroused the mocking desire of these people who came to watch the show, and they all started talking without restraint.

Moreover, these guys have mastered the essence of Bilibili's moderation system; they can hurl insults without getting banned by the system.

One of the captains happened to be working as a network administrator in the live stream room, and he initially helped to ban a few people.

But as the number of people mocking them grew, they couldn't keep up.

Seeing that things were not going well, the captain quickly tagged Xiaoyu in the QQ group.

【APTX4869の缘】: Little Fish! Look at the comments! I've banned over a dozen people, but so many are still coming in to flame me. Something's not right! @艾吃鱼

Xiaoyu had already realized something was wrong, but it was the first time she had ever seen anything like this, and she was a little at a loss for what to do.

She tried her best to control her discomfort and avoid looking at the comments, but many words and phrases continued to stimulate her brain.

to be frank.

Being maliciously slandered by a few people once in a while is actually not a big deal.

It's not like no one has criticized Xiaoyu for cheating lately.

However, most people in the live stream ignored them, and if they criticized them too harshly, they would be banned and sent away.

The little fish wouldn't take it too seriously.

But today is completely different from before.

No one knew what was going on when suddenly a large group of people rushed into the live stream to criticize them.

And it wasn't just one group of people.

After all, there weren't many people at the beginning, so at least the fans in the live stream could still curse back.

Now we almost never see any responses from fans.

The screen was filled with doubts, mockery, and sarcastic remarks.

Xiaoyu isn't actually cheating, so his skill level will naturally drop once he's affected.
