One Piece: Blue Scale Admiral

When Kizaru, Rorschach, Aramaki, and Akainu appeared together on the live stream, everyone on G1 Island fell silent, and countless eyes focused on the four people on the high platform.

At this moment, there was no need for Gates, the host, to announce it. Everyone present understood that the three tall men standing in front of Akainu were the Navy Headquarters' highest combat power and the three future Admirals.

Of the three, besides the well-known Kizaru and Rorschach, Aramaki is a relatively new face.

Even so, everyone had already witnessed his strength in his battle with Gion.

Although it's unclear what happened in his fight with Rorschach after that, or who won and who lost, the fact that Aramaki was already standing on the high platform alongside Kizaru and Rorschach already explained everything.

As always, Akainu cut straight to the point with a short sentence, announcing the awarding of medals to Kizaru and the other two.

"On behalf of the World Government and the Marine Headquarters, I hereby announce to the world that, following this global draft selection, Borsalino, Rorschach, and Aramaki will officially assume the positions of Marine Admirals. Their Admiral codenames will be Kizaru, Blue Scale, and Green Bull, respectively."

As soon as Akainu finished speaking, a deafening cheer erupted from below the stage, like a mountain collapsing and a tsunami crashing down.

The marines chanted the names of the three new admirals, especially Rorschach, whose name was shouted the loudest.

Facing the gaze of the entire world, Rorschach and his two companions solemnly received the admiral's uniform, epaulets, cape, and gold-embossed lettering from Akainu, and raised their hands in salute.

Everything seemed to fall into place so naturally.

However, the commendation ceremony for Rorschach's promotion to general did not end so hastily.

Next, he was presented as a positive role model by the Navy Headquarters, and Gates and Brennan introduced his entire resume since joining the Navy to a global audience.

Aside from the incident involving the World Government during his year in prison, which was glossed over, all of Rorschach's achievements and merits in the Navy were recounted in detail, and with Gates's fervent praise, he was transformed into the strongest marine in the history of the Navy, a true naval hero.

The overwhelming flattery that day made Luo Xia's face burn with embarrassment, and he wanted to leave as soon as possible.

However, Sengoku and the others clearly wouldn't let him leave so easily.

The selection of admirals by the Navy Headquarters is a very important matter.

The Admirals are the highest-ranking combatants in the world government and the navy, and are the most powerful officers in the navy. Their words and actions can influence the world situation.

In the past, due to limited resources, information about the appointment of generals was disseminated through publications in major newspapers.

But now that there's such a great opportunity for a live global broadcast, the Navy can't let it pass. They must have the newly elected admiral take the stage, give a speech, promote the Navy's justice, and expand the Navy's influence worldwide.

And this arduous task undoubtedly fell to Rorschach.

It suddenly appeared, and nobody knew that the past wilderness was unsuitable.

The lazy Kizaru is even less suitable.

Only Luo Xia, the rising star of Blue Scale General, is suitable to act as this spokesperson.

Under the parasol, Sengoku was giving Luo Xia a thorough lecture.

“Rorschach, I think you know better than I what to say and what not to say.”

To be frank, our navy has indeed been a bit too flamboyant and attention-seeking these past few days.

The significant increase in military spending is indeed a good thing for us, but it may not be something that pleases those above us.

You... anyway, try to talk about pirates and what our navy is going to do next.

Remember, the more you say, the more mistakes you make; the less you say, the fewer mistakes you make. Our navy is here to uphold justice and fight pirates. Understand?

"I know, you're even more nagging than my mom."

Rorschach's words made Hibari, Garp, and the others surrounding them burst into laughter.

Lark was helping Rorschach adjust the general's uniform he had just put on.

Light blue military uniform, white buttons, gold general's epaulettes, black military boots, and a wide, snow-white justice cape.

There was also a white military cap and a pair of black gloves, but Rorschach wasn't wearing either of them.

At his level, he has plenty of freedom in what he wears, even on formal occasions.

As long as Luo Xia is willing, he can wear a white shirt and beach shorts and no one will criticize him.

Rorschach, of course, wouldn't be too casual either.

In fact, he quite liked the general's uniform that headquarters had tailored for him.

The uniform is made of extremely soft and elastic fabric, hand-sewn using high-tech materials researched on Egg Point Island. It takes comfort into account while also being practical for combat. It is warm in winter and cool in summer, making it very comfortable to wear.

Looking at his general's uniform, Luo Xia couldn't help but feel a surge of emotions.

I've finally come this far.

Unbeknownst to me, five years have passed since I joined the Marines after meeting Akainu and Hibari in the North Blue.

Five years... it all feels like a dream.

It only took Luffy two and a half years from setting sail to about to realize his dream.

It took me a full five years to actually become a Navy Admiral.

I don't know how long it will take to realize my dream.

Compared to others, I'm definitely not cut out to be the main character.

As Rorschach reflected on his past seventeen years, he realized that his experiences had indeed been quite remarkable.

He seems to have experienced everything.

In just seventeen short years, she went from the joy of time travel and the happiness of having a perfect family, to the pain and despair of suffering from a strange disease, to the grief and numbness of her shattered happiness and the successive deaths of her parents.

From the naive young man who always viewed the world from a god-like perspective and considered everyone as two-dimensional characters, to the man who truly entered the Navy, experienced all the flavors of life, and finally integrated into the Navy as a large collective, he made a group of like-minded friends.

From humble beginnings to now standing among the top experts.

Today, the memories of my past life have long since faded and become blurred.

The five years he spent in the Navy were like a process of sifting through sand in the ocean. Rorschach finally shed his superficiality and began to see the world with a completely new perspective.

He silently looked around at these familiar yet unfamiliar people, and for some reason, his eyes welled up with tears, and a strange feeling of emotion rose in his chest.

Akainu has a cold exterior and acts in extreme ways, yet he inexplicably gives people a strong sense of security.

Kizaru is lazy and seems to care little about anything, but he is very reliable in critical moments.

Garp, who fought for the Navy his whole life, was trapped in a painful and confused predicament because of the justice he upheld.

He faithfully carried out many cruel orders from the World Government, but led the Navy through several chaotic eras, fought against countless great pirates, and finally arrived at the Sengoku period.

Grandma Tsuru, who is always so kind and gentle, but who chased Doflamingo all over the world when she was young.

Kind and considerate, always appearing when needed most, a little lark who trusts me unconditionally.

He was supposed to become a pirate, but because of his own actions, he joined the Navy and became a military doctor who saved the lives of countless marines.

He was supposed to go to the moon to continue being a god, but he was captured by himself and is now Enel, a candidate for general.

Bepo, who's always being silly and cute; Palmer, who's loyal and reliable; and Smoker, who's unyielding and inflexible...

Familiar faces, individual souls.

Each of them has their own joys and sorrows, their own ups and downs, their own loves and dreams.

At this moment, it no longer matters whether what I'm seeing is a dream or not.

Rorschach wants to embrace the world in his own way.

Thank you, it's so great to be here, and it's wonderful to meet you all.

"Hey kid, what are you thinking about? It's your turn to go on stage."

A broad, calloused hand landed on Rorschach's shoulder, jolting him out of his reverie.

Sengoku pointed to the high platform and looked at Luo Xia with a smile.

"Ah."

A genuine smile appeared on Luo Xia's face. Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, he strode through the parted throng and walked step by step toward the high platform.

"Yes, it's my turn to go on stage."

Chapter 736 The ability development went a bit astray.

A few days later, a warship sailed in with the wind and slowly entered Bubble Harbor beneath the Red Earth.

Rorschach stood at the bow of the ship, looking up at the red earth continent before him, which resembled a giant city wall.

Compared to the turbulent and unpredictable situations on the high seas, the majestic red earth continent seems unchanged for millions of years, forever inspiring awe in those who witness it.

This massive landmass, reaching tens of thousands of meters in height and encircling the entire world, made the Celestial Dragons seem even more unattainable in the eyes of ordinary people.

Let alone ordinary people who have never seen the world, even Rorschach, upon seeing this magnificent natural wonder, cannot help but feel a surge of emotion and marvel at the grandeur of nature.

Therefore, what are the Celestial Dragons, who can live at the top of this continent, if not gods in the eyes of ordinary people?

The town of Bubble Harbor in front of us has undergone some significant changes compared to two years ago.

Not only did the number of buildings in the town increase significantly due to the resettlement of military families from Marineford, but the quantity and quality of the navy and the Holy Land Guard stationed on the island were also enhanced.

Rorschach even spotted the latest pacifists on the streets of town.

When Rorschach, Akainu, Kizaru, and Aramaki stepped off the warship and entered the town closest to the Holy Land, it immediately caused quite a stir.

Many residents rushed out from the streets, shops, and residential buildings, looking at them with excited expressions.

Clearly, the residents here also watched the live broadcast from Naval Headquarters.

Rorschach came to Mary Geoise with Akainu to meet the Five Elders.

His current status, after all, places him at the highest decision-making level of the Navy, giving him the right to speak directly with the Five Elders on many matters.

Moreover, according to Sengoku and the others, once you reach the level of a Grand Admiral, each Grand Admiral will be assigned to liaise with one of the Five Elders, be ready to be dispatched at any time, and help the World Government handle some tricky matters.

For example, Kizaru is the highest-ranking officer in the Navy specifically in charge of the research unit, but the person with the highest authority over the entire research unit is not him, but Satan, one of the Five Elders.

Satan is the World Government's scientific defense god and Kizaru's superior. Kizaru is usually the person in charge of maintaining contact with Satan at the Marine Headquarters.

If Satan needs the Navy to handle something, it will be Kizaru and his science unit that will step in.

There's no way to refuse this; even a naval admiral wouldn't have the right, otherwise it would be considered a betrayal.

Unless one is not promoted to general, one must obey the orders of the Five Elders.

This is also a major reason why Garp refused to be promoted to admiral.

As the group walked along the streets of Bubble Harbor toward the elevator on the Red Earth, the Bubble Harbor residents who had been watching Luo Xia and his companions from both sides of the street suddenly knelt down in unison.
