But is that even possible?
Perhaps if Rorschach came in person, he could take down Kuja and arrest Hancock without any casualties.
But the world is so big, with countless pirates and countless crimes, no matter how powerful Rorschach is, he can't possibly handle it all by himself.
Marines must be tempered by the fires of war to grow up.
They must also accumulate military merits in battles to advance their ranks and strengthen themselves.
"I hope that one day we will no longer have to make such sacrifices." Hibari put aside his grief, rushed into the battlefield, and began to help treat the wounded.
.
.
Alabasta, the coast of Saint Tin Island.
Despite Moria's zombie army numbering less than three thousand, they still routed the Alabasta Kingdom's army, which outnumbered them tenfold.
Even though Bell and Jakka told their soldiers how to deal with zombies, they couldn't stop the trend.
Compared to the armies of neighboring countries, the army of the Kingdom of Alabasta may be considered to be elite and brave, but when faced with a group of terrifying zombies that are not afraid of swords and spears, have no vital organs, and will not die even if their hearts are pierced or their heads are split open, they inevitably suffer from great psychological pressure.
Even so, despite their fear of the undead army before them, the royal army's soldiers did not retreat. They roared and charged forward, venting their barely concealed fear, determined to hold off the army even if it meant death, lest these hideous dead men breach the capital and storm the inner city.
"Use seawater! Use fire! Use salt! Defeat them! Do not be afraid! Join Princess Vivi in slaying the enemy! Protect our parents, wives, children, our kingdom, and our home!"
Kou Sha roared and led a group of ordinary soldiers, charging fearlessly into the howling zombie army. He took out salt soaked in his own blood from the salt bag hanging around his neck, smeared it on the blade, and frantically slashed and hacked at the zombies around him.
His body was covered in all sorts of terrible wounds, but he was completely oblivious to them at the moment, continuing to slash and hack away, while turning his head to look at Vivi, who was being beaten back by Moria, his face showing undisguised anxiety and worry.
"Vivi! Hang in there! Once the navy reinforcements arrive, we'll have won!"
"Hand over your shadow! Give it to the great Lord Moria, and serve under him. He will grant you the same immortality as us!"
An old zombie lunged at Kosha with a groan, thrusting a rusty spear into his chest.
Kou Sha neither dodged nor avoided the rusty spear, letting it pierce his leather armor and sink into his muscle. He then swung his sword backhand, slicing it into the forehead of the zombie before him.
"Ahhh!"
The zombie screamed, and a dark shadow flew out of its split forehead.
As Kosa rode his warhorse, he was surrounded by zombies. His horse, with a mournful cry, was pounced on and bitten by the zombies.
Kouza was forced to the beach, with the churning seawater behind him.
With red eyes, he pulled the spear stuck in his chest with a "plop," ready to fight to the death.
Just then, out of the corner of his eye, Kosa suddenly caught sight of a small boat appearing on the sea behind him, being propelled by the waves and heading towards the coast of St. Ting Island.
On the small boat with only a thin mast, stood a child who looked about seven or eight years old.
Kou Sha was shocked and immediately waved his hand and shouted.
"Hey! Where did this kid come from? Turn around and get away! Don't come near here! It's dangerous!"
Chapter 774 My Name is Qilin
On the shore of St. Ting Island, Kou Sha struggled to fend off the horde of zombies attacking from all sides while anxiously glancing at the sea behind him.
Whether it was because it was terrified by the ferocious and terrifying army of zombies in front of it, or because the boat it was on was too small and it was being swept away by the waves and unable to turn around, the child who looked to be no more than seven or eight years old, but had long white hair, actually rushed straight toward the shore where Kou Sha was.
At such close range, Kosa could see the other person's youthful and fair skin.
Even in such a perilous situation, when Kosa saw the child standing on the small boat, he couldn't help but admire him.
What a handsome child!
The child had long, smooth white hair, was only about 1.3 or 1.4 meters tall, and had a small face as white and tender as a peeled egg. His features were perfectly natural and indescribably beautiful.
A pair of bright blue eyes blinked with great interest, as if curiously observing the terrifying army of zombies in front of Kou Sha.
What surprised Kosa was the child's eyes.
His pupils were like stars, forming a five-pointed star shape. Kosa had never seen such peculiar pupils in his entire life.
Furthermore, he couldn't see even the slightest bit of panic or fear on the other person's face or in their eyes.
Whether it was a misperception or not, Kosha suddenly felt a strange sense of familiarity with the child in front of him.
I feel like I've seen this face somewhere before, but I can't quite place it.
Could it be a resident of the capital?
Seeing the white-haired child being pushed by the waves and crashing onto the shore of St. Ting Island, Kosa sighed inwardly, knowing that with only a small boat, the child wouldn't be able to escape in time under the weight of such a huge wave.
They didn't have time to think about which resident in the capital hadn't taken good care of their child, carelessly letting such a young child drift on the sea in such chaos.
"Get out of here! You monsters! Get away from that child!"
Kosa roared and swung his longsword wildly, severing the heads of several more zombies. With the salt-coated blade, he forced the shadows inside these unkillable monsters to fly away, desperately trying to get closer to the child standing frozen on the small boat, wanting to protect him behind him.
"Brother! No! You damn bastard! Let's get him together and take him down!"
Seeing another comrade fall after his shadow was purified, the zombies roared in anger and swarmed forward, stretching out more than a dozen large hands to grab Kosha's exhausted body and pin him to the ground, unable to move.
Meanwhile, seeing how concerned Kosa was about the child who had suddenly appeared before them, the zombies chuckled and surrounded him, stretching out their rotting hands to grab the child's body amidst Kosa's bloodshot eyes.
"You seem to care so much about this little guy, could he be your child?"
A bloated hippo zombie, stitched together with countless patches, lowered its head and brought its hideous, terrifying face close to the white-haired child's eyes, grinning with a gaping mouth.
"Get away from him! Monster!" Kosha roared, struggling frantically but unable to break free.
"Hahaha, I love seeing people in despair." The hippo zombie stretched out its large, bare, white-boned hand and grabbed at the child standing there dumbfounded. "I'll reluctantly accept your child's shadow. Oh no, I misspoke. We don't want his shadow; a child's shadow is too weak. Lord Moria wouldn't like it. But we can accept his body to create a delicate child zombie, hahaha!"
Facing the four-meter-tall hippo zombie in front of him, the white-haired child looked up, revealing an innocent and adorable face, and said with utmost seriousness, "Zombie, you're wrong. I'm not his child."
"Huh? Then whose child are you?" The hippo zombie was stunned, its outstretched hand stopping on the child's head.
Kosa froze for a moment, then yelled, "Damn it! Is this the time to be agonizing over this? Run!"
The hippo zombie was startled awake by Kosa's shout and exclaimed, "Oh, I know! You were lying to me. You wanted to distance yourself from your poor, dying father so you could find a chance to escape, right?"
"Don't try to fool me! I'm very smart! Don't think I'll fall for your little tricks!" His ugly face twisted, and his large hand slammed down.
"No, my dad isn't that weak. He's the strongest man in the world."
The white-haired child continued speaking earnestly, and amidst the grotesque laughter of the dozen or so zombies around him, he waved his slender, bean-sprout-like right hand at the large hand that the hippo zombie reached for him.
"Oh!"
A sharp explosion rang out in front of Kou Sha, and the resulting sandstorm stung his face, causing him to involuntarily close his eyes.
When Kosa opened his eyes again, he was shocked to find that the hippo zombie that had reached out its large hand to grab the white-haired child had disappeared.
The surrounding horde of zombies, and the Kingdom soldiers who surged in from the side to help him out, all stared wide-eyed, jaws agape, dumbfounded at the harmless, adorable child.
In Kosa's pupils, a wide, straight passage was reflected, cutting through the crowded army of zombies and extending all the way to the capital city wall at the end.
On the towering city wall, the giant hippo zombie from before was now deeply embedded, its arms and body twisted into a knot.
Seeing the strange expressions on the faces of the soldiers and zombies around him, Kosa vaguely realized that the person who had knocked the hippo zombie away was likely...
Is this adorable child, still with a childlike innocence, standing before me?
"How is this possible?" Kosa was dumbfounded.
What he didn't see was that behind the twisted hippo zombie, deeply embedded in the city wall, was a long line of zombies, all of whom had been slammed into the wall by the flying hippo zombie.
The unluckiest soul at the very end even pierced through the more than ten-meter-thick city wall and fell into the inner city of the capital, eliciting gasps of surprise.
The scene suddenly fell silent, and countless eyes turned to the white-haired child.
All the people could hear was the sound of Vivi and Moria fighting in the distance.
Kosa swallowed hard and subconsciously asked in a low voice, "Kid, is your father... the strongest man in the world... Whitebeard?"
Kosa thought he was right, because he had just heard the child say that his father was the strongest man in the world. And who else could be the strongest man in the world but Whitebeard?
To everyone's surprise, upon hearing Kosa's question, the white-haired child wrinkled his nose unhappily and retorted in a thick childish voice, "My dad isn't some old guy like Whitebeard. My dad is... the one who killed Whitebeard. Of course, the title of Whitebeard's strongest belongs to my dad."
With that, he strode off toward Moria.
Wherever he went, the surrounding zombie army was so frightened that they fell over and scrambled to the sides like a tide, allowing the little child to walk as if he were in an empty place towards Moria and Vivi.
"Who was the one who killed Whitebeard? Boss Koza?" a soldier asked, puzzled.
Kosa was a little confused, but soon he remembered who had killed Whitebeard.
His eyes bulged out, and he looked like he'd seen a ghost. As he watched the small figure of the white-haired child leave, the inexplicable sense of familiarity in his mind suddenly became incredibly clear.
"He...he is...Rorschach's son?"
Kou Sha's eyes widened as he realized why the white-haired child seemed familiar.
Aside from those peculiar starry eyes, the other person's appearance was at least nine-tenths similar to Rorschach, who had visited Alabasta a few years ago!
"Rorschach? Who's that?" The soldier next to him was still wondering when he was interrupted by the shocked shout of another soldier.
"Idiot! You don't even know Rorschach? Isn't that the man who killed Whitebeard, the world's strongest marine, the governor of G5, the object of Princess Vivi's longing, Admiral Rorschach of Blue Scale!"
"Eh?? General Lan Lin!"
The chaotic battlefield erupted in uproar because of this name.
Even the mindless zombie army showed intense fear in their eyes, as if just hearing this name could purify the shadow within them and make them die completely.
"But I remember General Lan Lin was only seventeen or eighteen years old, younger than me. How come his child is already so big?"
"Idiot! Do you think General Lan Lin's bloodline is the same as that of normal people like you and me? It's a powerful bloodline that stands at the pinnacle of the world, comparable to the Pirate King. More than that, I'm curious about who this child's mother is?"
"Of course, it's the beautiful Miss Hibari!"
"Perhaps it's... Princess Vivi..."
"Shut up! Do you want to die? If His Majesty Cobra hears this, you're finished."
Amidst the growing clamor of discussion, the white-haired boy strolled leisurely through the zombie army and arrived at Moria and Vivi's battlefield.
During this time, some zombies who hadn't seen what happened tried to attack him, and then everyone saw the little boy slowly raise his hand and gently wave it.
The atmosphere within a radius of tens of meters exploded with a bang from his wave of his hand. Hundreds of zombies, crowded together, were blasted into the air, screaming and writhing as they were flung into the sky tens of meters high like scattered petals.
Although the shadows within the zombies did not detach from them, their bones and muscles were completely twisted and broken under the bombardment of this terrifying force, rendering them unable to move.
