Tang Sanzang was shocked to see a chicken lying in the iron basin.

"What are you doing? Don't you know that monks can't eat meat? You're trying to break my vows!" Tang Sanzang said to Lin Yaoxie without any politeness.

"Master, Master, don't overthink it. Look closely at what this is. We don't have the means to buy meat. You can eat it without worry!" Lin Yaoxie said to Tang Sanzang.

Tang Sanzang still couldn't quite believe it, just then Zhu Bajie ran over.

"Master, since you don't dare to eat it, let me try it for you!" Pigsy said, taking a piece with his hand and tearing off a piece of "chicken leg meat".

"Master, this is really made of flour, not meat, so please feel free to eat it," Pigsy said to Tang Sanzang.

"Lin Yaoxie, you've got some ideas, kid. If we come back from our pilgrimage to the West, you could open an inn and work as a cook or something, and that would support us, master and disciples!" Sun Wukong joked.

Seeing that they were all praising him, Lin Yaoxie scratched his head shyly and continued eating.

They spent a pleasant afternoon like this. Since it was summer, the night wasn't too cold, so they made do with sleeping outside for the night and continued their journey the next morning.

The Tang Monk and his disciples walked and walked, crossing mountains and rivers, and finally arrived at a deserted forest.

In the middle of the forest, there was a clearing. The group of disciples were exhausted, so they helped Tang Sanzang to a wooden stake to rest for a while.

"Do you two think there might be monsters here?" Tang Sanzang asked Lin Yaoxie and Sun Wukong.

"This forest is so quiet, there's no one around, how could there be any monsters? Master, you're overthinking it." Pigsy spoke before the forest demon and Sun Wukong could.

"Bajie, you can't speak too confidently!" Lin Yaoxie advised.

As expected, Lin Yaoxie's words had barely left his lips when Tang Sanzang was so frightened that he immediately stood up, saying he wanted to leave as soon as possible. His disciples also got up and followed their master.

Chapter Thirty-Seven: A Paradise on Earth

Just then, a deity who called himself Jingjie Gong brought them water and fruit and told them to eat.

Bajie's eyes lit up when he saw them, and he was about to go forward to take them when Lin Yaoxie stopped him and threw them on the ground.

Just then, a wisp of smoke blew by, and Tang Sanzang immediately disappeared.

This made Lin Yaoxie, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing very anxious. They were pacing around calling for their master.

Suddenly, Sha Wujing was entangled by a tree monster. No matter how Sha Wujing moved, the tree would not let go of him.

"Brother, come save me!" Sha Wujing cried out.

At this moment, Lin Yaoxie and Sun Wukong quickly followed Sha Wujing's voice and found him. Sun Wukong tried to use brute force to cut down the tree, but the tree was stimulated and hugged him tighter and tighter, almost making Sha Wujing breathless.

"I'll do it!" Lin Yaoxie said to Sun Wukong.

He scratched the tree's armpit, and the tree loosened its grip. He scratched it several more times, and Sun Wukong took the opportunity to pull Sha Wujing out of the tree's embrace.

"Senior Brother Lin Yaoxie, you're amazing! How did you know to use this method?" Sun Wukong asked Lin Yaoxie with a look of admiration.

"I saw that this tree had grown arms, so it must have become a spirit. So I came up with this idea to try it out, and I didn't expect it to actually work," Lin Yaoxie patiently explained to Sun Wukong.

After finally managing to get Sha Wujing away from the tree monster, they heard Zhu Bajie shouting for help.

They followed Pigsy's cries for help and found him. It turned out that Pigsy was entangled in a flower vine. This time, Monkey King wanted to imitate the demon Lin and tickle the flower vine so that the flower would release Pigsy like a tree. However, Monkey King was wrong. He couldn't find the flower's ticklish spot at all, so he could only ask the demon Lin for help.

So Lin Yaoxie stood on the flower vines and roared twice.

"If you don't let go, I'll uproot you!" Sure enough, the flowers seemed to understand Lin Yaoxie's words, and in fright, they released their vines. Pigsy emerged from the air...

He fell and cried out in pain.

After rescuing the two people, Lin Yaoxie and Sun Wukong thought about going to find their master.

After being blown away by a gust of wind, Tang Sanzang arrived at a place that looked just like a paradise.

0oo is asking for flowers.....

Tang Sanzang looked back. He saw the three characters "Muxian Temple" on the plaque. Seeing this scene, Tang Sanzang couldn't help but recite a poem.

"What a fine poem! What a fine poem!" Tang Sanzang heard someone say this after he finished reciting the poem.

Four people entered from outside. They were Jin Jie Gong, Gu Zhi Gong, Ling Kong Zi, and Fo Yun Sou. Tang Sanzang bowed to them respectfully upon seeing them.

"Holy Monk, you really recited a wonderful poem just now! How about we have a poetry contest?" suggested Master Jingjie.

"You immortals are truly masters; this disciple dares not boast!" Tang Sanzang said modestly.

As they spoke, the group began to recite poems. After they finished, they insisted that Tang Sanzang also compose one.

Tang Sanzang didn't want to, but he couldn't resist the encouragement of the others, so he wrote a poem in the end, and said after finishing it that he had made a fool of himself.

At this moment, a woman came out of the Muxian Temple. She was very beautiful and, before even seeing Tang Sanzang, began to praise his poems.

Tang Sanzang didn't know who she was, so the other four told him that the woman was Xingxian, who didn't easily praise people, and that Tang Sanzang should be secretly happy to be praised.

Chapter Thirty-Eight: Finding Tang Sanzang

The fairy, Xingxian, clearly admired Tang Sanzang.

"If the elder recites a fine poem, then this young lady will sing a song. A fine poem naturally deserves a fine melody." With that, she began to sing and dance.

The others stared wide-eyed at Xingxian; they had never seen her dance before.

"We owe our good fortune to you today," the four deities said.

After the apricot fairy finished her dance, she had tea brought out for Tang Sanzang to drink, but Tang Sanzang did not want to drink it.

"Does the elder find the tea I brewed not fragrant enough?" Xingxian asked Tang Seng. Tang Seng couldn't stand it and immediately drank the tea. Seeing that Tang Seng had drunk the tea, Xingxian also drank her own cup.

"Master, Master!" Tang Sanzang heard Lin Yaoxie calling him after he finished his tea, so he responded.

"Disciple, I'm here!" The others disappeared as soon as they heard Lin Yaoxie's voice.

When Lin Yaoxie and Sun Wukong arrived, Zhu Bajie saw so much delicious food and even wine. He picked it up to drink, but Lin Yaoxie stopped him in time.

"Fool, this is a bewitching potion the monster gave to Master, you can't drink it!" With that, he snatched the wine pot and threw it away.

They destroyed the place before they left.

Before the monsters could catch up, they quickly helped Tang Sanzang onto his horse and left the place.

Halfway there, they got hungry, and luckily there was a river where they stopped to rest, so they used something to scoop up some water to drink.

Just as they were drinking water, a water monster suddenly emerged from the water.

"Who are you people? Why are you destroying my living environment? My river water was originally crystal clear, but you've made it so dirty. How am I supposed to live here? Clean up my river water right now, or I'll eat your master!" the river monster said.

"Well, another monster. And one with OCD at that. We only drank a sip of your water, so what's this talk of contamination? What a troublesome monster," Lin Yaoxie thought to himself.

To avoid angering the water monster and taking their master away, they had no choice but to do as it asked. They removed all the trash from the river and even took a bath in it. Fortunately, the water monster wasn't angry and easily let them go.

Lin Yaoxie swore that this was the best monster they had ever encountered. Apart from making them do hard labor, it didn't do anything else, and it didn't even capture their master. This was truly a rare occurrence!

They haven't encountered any challenging monsters lately, and Lin Yaoxie is feeling a bit itchy. He's not used to fighting monsters for so long. Do you think he's being unreasonable or has something wrong with him?

It would have been better if he hadn't said anything; once he did, things went wrong.

After half a month of travel, they arrived at a temple. Tang Sanzang, Sun Wukong and the others wanted to go inside as soon as they saw the temple.

"It's good to have a temple, because there's food there," said Pigsy. He really is someone who never forgets about food!

"Master, there's a demonic aura in this temple, don't go in!" Lin Yaoxie advised.

But Tang Sanzang wasn't sure. The temple was his home, and he felt he had to go back once he saw it. He wouldn't feel comfortable if he didn't go in. Helpless, Lin Yaoxie could only follow them into the temple.

"Little Thunderclap Temple, this is the Little Western Paradise! You demon, you almost made me miss it!" Tang Sanzang said, about to go in to pay his respects to the Buddha.

Chapter Thirty-Nine: The Yellow-Eyebrowed Old Buddha

Tang Sanzang, along with Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing, hurriedly went inside to pay their respects to the Buddha. They first went to the main hall to pay their respects to the main Buddhas, and then went to the side halls and the rear hall.

After they finished worshipping the Buddha in one place, the Buddha started to move. Lin Yaoxie felt something was amiss, but upon closer inspection, it stopped moving.

After they had finished worshipping all the Buddhas, the Buddhas suddenly laughed.

Tang Sanzang, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing were all startled, while only Sun Wukong and Lin Yaoxie remained very calm.

"Protect Master!" Lin Yaoxie shouted at them.

But it was all for naught. The demon had already kidnapped Tang Sanzang and the others, and trapped Sun Wukong under the golden bowl. No matter what Sun Wukong did with his golden cudgel, he couldn't open the bowl.

At this moment, Lin Yaoxie went into the cave first and rescued Sha Wujing and Zhu Bajie.

When he went inside, he saw that Pigsy and Sandy were only tied up with ropes. He easily cut the ropes with his axe and rescued Pigsy and Sandy.

Immediately afterwards, they went out to look for Sun Wukong, only to find him trapped under the golden alms bowl, unable to get out no matter what he did.

"Bajie, do you have any good ideas? Why don't you go find some heavenly soldiers and generals to open this golden bowl for me so I can get out!"

"Brother Monkey, wait here, I'll go find some helpers to get you out!" Pigsy said, and then flew up into the sky on his somersault cloud.

However, they seemed to have forgotten that Lin Yaoxie, who was right next to them, was a great god. They really went to great lengths instead of looking for what was right next to them. But Lin Yaoxie was also quite annoying, looking at Sun Wukong and the others.

"You guys are ignoring me like this while I'm right here. Who can't have a temper?" Lin Yaoxie thought to himself.

Soon, Pigsy called for reinforcements to help.

"Brother Monkey, I've summoned the Twenty-Eight Constellations to rescue you. Just wait here!" Pigsy said to Monkey.

Sun Wukong shouted at Zhu Bajie outside.

He just stood there silently, watching.

As they spoke, the heavenly soldiers descended and began to pry open the golden bowl with their respective weapons, but the golden bowl did not budge at all; in a word, it was completely immovable.

Even the heavenly soldiers who descended from the sky were helpless, so at this moment they remembered Lin Yaoxie and asked him if he could do it.

Without saying a word, Lin Yaoxie picked up his Thunder Axe and swung it at the golden bowl. The golden bowl immediately cracked open, and with another swing of his axe, it was split in two.

Sun Wukong seized the opportunity to escape, and then Lin Yaoxie used magic to restore the golden bowl, creating the illusion that Sun Wukong was still inside.

Their commotion attracted the attention of monsters.

"What kind of monster are you, daring to capture my master? Do you know how powerful your Grandpa Lin is!" Lin Yaoxie shouted.

"I am Yellow-Eyebrowed Buddha 447, and this is Little Western Paradise. You'd better behave yourselves since you've come to my territory, or I'll make you regret it!" the monster said arrogantly.

"Ah, you don't know how powerful your Grandpa Lin is!" With that, Lin Yaoxie picked up his axe and smashed a stone block next to him.

Seeing that Lin Yaoxie had some skill, the demon hesitated. At this moment, the Twenty-Eight Constellations also stepped forward and began to fight with the demon. Then, the demon somehow produced a bag.

He simply waved the bag in the air, and it swallowed them all up. Lin Yaoxie was agile and escaped before he could be swallowed up.

The monster was overjoyed to have subdued so many people, so he drank a few more cups of wine.
