Zhen Yuanzi was furious when he saw this. He was so angry that he wanted to arrest Tang Sanzang and his companions and cut off their journey to the Western Paradise to obtain the scriptures. Tang Sanzang knew that this would not do, so he quickly asked Lin Yaoxie and the others to come up with a solution.

"My master and I passed by Wuzhuang Temple and ate a few ginseng fruits from Zhenyuanzi. He wanted to beat me, so I got angry and uprooted his ginseng fruit tree. Now he wants me to compensate him for the tree," Lin Yaoxie explained to Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Chapter Ninety-Two: Saving the Fruit Trees

"You evil Lin, even I have to show respect to Zhen Yuanzi. You not only stole his ginseng fruit, but you also tried to destroy the ginseng fruit tree. No wonder he was so angry," Guanyin Bodhisattva said to Lin.

"Oh dear, Guanyin Bodhisattva, it's no use telling me this now. I've already uprooted that tree. There's no point in saying anything more. Please help me!" Lin Yaoxie pleaded with Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Guanyin Bodhisattva knew that Lin Yaoxie truly realized his mistake, so she decided to help him.

"Then hurry up and go. Don't you want to go on your journey to the West to obtain the scriptures?" Guanyin Bodhisattva urged Lin Yaoxie.

Upon hearing that Guanyin Bodhisattva had decided to help him, Lin Yaoxie immediately followed Guanyin Bodhisattva to Wuzhuang Temple.

After they arrived at Wuzhuang Temple, they saw Guanyin Bodhisattva drop a few drops of water from her jade bottle onto the ginseng fruit tree, and the ginseng fruit indeed came back to life.

"Thank you, Guanyin Bodhisattva!" Tang Sanzang quickly thanked Guanyin Bodhisattva.

After Guanyin Bodhisattva accepted their gratitude, she left. When Zhen Yuanzi saw that the ginseng fruit tree had come back to life, he did not pursue the matter any further. After all, Tang Sanzang was a disciple of the Buddha, and he did not want to make things too difficult for him, so he let them go.

"Lin Yaoxie, Wukong, you must never do this again. Zhen Yuanzi let us go this time, but if there's a next time, it won't be so easy," Tang Sanzang scolded the group.

"Master, we understand, we will never do it again." Lin Yaoxie and the others agreed to Tang Sanzang's request and humbly accepted the criticism, and then they continued out.

"Wukong, Bajie, Sha Wujing, you guys watch over Master. I'm going to take a look around," Lin Yaoxie said to Sun Wukong and the others. After saying this, Lin Yaoxie left.

After looking around and finding nothing unusual, he returned to the tent and joined Sun Wukong and the others in guarding outside Tang Sanzang's place.

In the middle of the night, a strong wind suddenly rose, waking Tang Sanzang from his tent. Tang Sanzang then came out to chat with Lin Yaoxie and the others.

The strong wind came and went, and soon the tent was blown down. Lin Yaoxie quickly propped the tent up to prevent Tang Sanzang from being hit.

"Lin Yaoxie, let's pack up this tent. With such strong winds, I don't think I can stay in it any longer. Otherwise, our only piece of cloth will be blown away, and we won't have any left," Tang Seng said to Lin Yaoxie.

Lin Yaoxie thought that Tang Seng's words in 5.4 made sense, so he quickly packed up the tent and put the cloth into their luggage boxes.

But the windy night was too cold, so the group could only huddle together for warmth, sitting together and waiting for dawn.

Suddenly, animal cries came from deep within the forest. Tang Sanzang was terrified by the sound and clung tightly to the demon's clothes.

Chapter Ninety-Three: A Sudden Encounter with a Ferocious Wolf

"Lin Yaoxie, listen to this sound. It's so scary!" Tang Seng said to Lin Yaoxie.

"Master, don't be afraid, I'll go take a look. Wukong, you take care of Master." Lin Yaoxie had just finished speaking when he saw a wolf behind a tree next to them.

The wolf was staring at them, startling Tang Sanzang and the others. Only Lin Yaoxie remained calmly standing there. He had seen everything during his training in the wild, and a wolf was no match for him.

Lin Yaoxie had been fighting the pack of wolves for a long time and was gradually losing strength, but he was still clear-headed. If he gave up now, he would only be eaten. So he used his remaining wit to fight the wolves again, and soon the wolves were driven away by Lin Yaoxie.

After Lin Yaoxie dealt with the wolves, he hurried back to find Tang Sanzang and the others, but the place where Tang Sanzang and the others had been resting was already empty, and there was no sign of them.

At this moment, Lin Yaoxie realized that Tang Sanzang had been captured, but who had captured him was unknown. However, it was nighttime, so it was not a good time to inquire. Therefore, Lin Yaoxie sat there and waited for dawn.

Finally, the sky began to lighten. Lin Yaoxie had a very difficult night. He didn't know who had captured his master and junior brother, or where they had been taken. If his master had already been eaten that night, he would hate himself to death.

Clearly, things weren't going well for Tang Sanzang and his companions either. They had been terrified by the situation but quickly regained consciousness, only to find they were no longer in the same spot.

As for where it is, they don't know either.

Soon, they came across a person who looked like a human but had a wolf's tail.

480 "Who are you?" Sun Wukong, the boldest of the group, asked.

When Tang Sanzang and his companions heard the demon say that Lin Yaoxie had been eaten by his subordinates, the wolves, they believed it to be true, since they had personally witnessed Lin Yaoxie fighting against the wolves the day before.

"Waaah, Master, is my life really going to end today? Isn't Senior Brother very powerful? How could he be eaten? I don't believe it!" Pigsy cried and sobbed.

“You idiot, stop crying. Just because he says our senior brother is dead doesn’t mean he’s really dead. Don’t believe this monster’s nonsense. Our senior brother will definitely come back to save us.” Sun Wukong said this to them on purpose.

In truth, Sun Wukong wasn't entirely confident either. After all, wolves were beasts, devoid of humanity. If Lin Yaoxie pushed them too far, they might actually bite Lin Yaoxie to death. The reason he said that earlier was partly to encourage Tang Sanzang, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing, and partly to comfort himself.

If Lin Yaoxie is really gone, then he must find a way to rescue Tang Sanzang and the others. After all, his master is a Buddhist disciple, and the mission of obtaining the scriptures from the West must be completed.

As soon as it was light, Lin Yaoxie summoned the local earth god and asked him about the situation in the area.

"Earth God, do you know why there are so many wolves around here, and where they came from?" Lin Yaoxie asked the Earth God.

"These wolves are subordinates of the Wolf Immortal in the wolf den ahead. He has been raising these wolves for a long time. The Wolf Immortal came here three years ago, but he has been very peaceful. He just raises wolves and hunts, and has not done anything immoral. “No wonder those wolves looked trained; they weren’t afraid of people at all. Once they bit someone, they wouldn’t let go, even if it meant death. So that’s how it is.” After hearing what the Earth God had said, Lin Yaoxie thanked the Earth God, and the Earth God left.

So this is where the monster came from. It must really want to become an immortal. But often, the more people like this are, the harder their hearts are, and they have a fearless spirit in their bones. It seems that (Moqian) is not easy to deal with.

Lin Yaoxie was extremely annoyed. Along the way, he encountered a monster in every place he passed through. His master really was prone to attracting monsters. He needed to think of a way to get back.

After his battle with the evil wolf, Lin Yaoxie remembered some things about himself. He realized that he did not belong to this world; he had traveled from the future. While protecting Tang Sanzang, he had to think about how to return to his own world.

Chapter Ninety-Five: Uproar in the Wolf's Den

Thinking of this, Lin Yaoxie thought that he should hurry up and rescue Tang Seng so that he could return to his own world as soon as possible.

After thinking about these things, Lin Yaoxie arrived at the wolf den that the Earth God had mentioned. He was all alone now, and those vicious wolves must be in the den, so he had to be careful.

Lin Yaoxie stood guard around the cave entrance. He saw several vicious wolves circling outside the cave, looking as focused as soldiers guarding their country.

"You wicked Lin, so you're still alive? You really are lucky. But once you've come to my den, don't even think about leaving alive," the wolf immortal said to Lin.

"Heh, you monster, what a big mouth you have, calling yourself an immortal. What immortal would be as inhuman as you?" Lin Yaoxie retorted, not to be outdone.

Who knew that the wolf immortal was most sensitive to people saying that he was not an immortal. He was helpless because he could have become an immortal right away, but his haste had led to his current state. Now that someone was deliberately reopening his wounds, he was naturally even angrier.

Soon, Sha Wujing untied Sun Wukong's ropes, and then Sun Wukong untied the ropes of the others. As soon as they were free, they ran off to help the demon Lin, leaving Tang Sanzang alone to wait.

After all, Tang Sanzang wouldn't be of much help if he went with them, and it might even have the opposite effect.

Chapter Ninety-Six: Subduing the Wolf Immortal

Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing arrived at the house where Lin Yaoxie and the Wolf Immortal were, and found that Lin Yaoxie was fighting with the wolf cubs under the Wolf Immortal's command.

Soon, Sun Wukong and his companions joined their ranks. After a fierce battle of three hundred rounds, they finally killed the wolves. Seeing that the wolves were dead, their next step was to become a wolf immortal.

When they turned back to confront the Wolf Immortal, he was nowhere to be found.

It turned out that when the wolf immortal saw that the little wolves he had raised were about to be overwhelmed by Lin Yaoxie and his group, he took the opportunity to run away with Tang Sanzang. Lin Yaoxie and his group thought that the monster could not have gone far, so they quickly chased after him.

Tang Sanzang couldn't just be captured by the wolf immortal like that; he had to resist as he went.

After being slashed, Tang Sanzang quickly fainted. Seeing that Tang Sanzang was no longer moving, the demon quickly led him to another dilapidated cave deep in the forest.

This cave was where he used to stay when he was just a lowly henchman.

However, Lin Yaoxie and his group were also fast, chasing Wolf Immortal into the cave. Wolf Immortal realized that he couldn't escape, so he started fighting with Lin Yaoxie and his group again.

This time, Sun Wukong and his companions did not make a move. After all, Lin Yaoxie was very powerful and could handle this little wolf immortal on his own. Sure enough, after a short while, the wolf immortal was defeated and finally killed by Lin Yaoxie's Thunder Axe.

"Amitabha Buddha," Tang Sanzang said hurriedly upon seeing the scene.

And so they headed west, hastily leaving that place of trouble.
