"Lin Yaoxie, let's stop here for now. I'm a little hungry. Go and get me some food," Tang Sanzang said to Lin Yaoxie.

Lin Yaoxie knew that they had traveled a long way and had not eaten for a long time while trying to avoid those demons and monsters. Now that he heard Tang Seng say this, he went to get some food without hesitation.

Chapter Ninety-Eight: Tang Sanzang Disappears

Chapter Ninety-Nine: The Origin of the Monsters

We didn't expect him to actually not come today," the stall owner said regretfully.

"Do you know where his home is?" Lin Yaoxie then asked the stall owner.

When he returned to the inn, he happened to hear Sun Wukong and the others arguing about something, and it seemed like they were about to fight.

"What are you all doing? Why are you making such a racket? I've found out where that monster is," Lin Yaoxie said to the group before even entering the house.

"Senior Brother, this fool said Master was arrested, and since you left too, he insisted on dividing the luggage and going their separate ways. I told Junior Brother Sha that you must have gone to inquire about Master's whereabouts, and this fool..."

"I still don't believe it." As soon as Sun Wukong saw Lin Yaoxie return, he quickly went up to Lin Yaoxie to complain.

Chapter 100: Master and Disciple Reconcile

"Senior Brother, don't be angry. I was just doing this for everyone's sake. You left without a word, and I didn't even know you were inquiring about Master. Besides, I didn't leave!" Pigsy quickly said nicely to Lin Yaoxie.

Lin Yaoxie knew what kind of person Zhu Bajie was. He was just good at talking, but he was actually a nice person, except for being a little greedy. So he didn't really want to argue with Zhu Bajie.

"Bajie, you must never say such things again. Our mission is to protect Master on his journey to the West to retrieve the scriptures. This is how we are destined to be in this life. Don't say anything foolish anymore." Lin Yaoxie said to Zhu Bajie earnestly, looking every bit like the eldest senior brother.

"Thank you for your magnanimity, Senior Brother 487," Pigsy said, stomping his hind legs.

Sun Wukong and Sha Wujing watched the interaction between Lin Yaoxie and Zhu Bajie from the sidelines, feeling both helpless and amused. It seemed that only the eldest brother could handle this fool. But when would this fool stop constantly threatening to split up the family?

And so the farce came to an end. In the end, Pigsy failed to achieve his wish and was unable to return to his Gao Village.

"Alright, let's think about how to save Master. We can't delay any longer, or Master will really be eaten." Lin Yaoxie said urgently to everyone.

“That monster didn’t have a mother. He probably made it up to cover up the truth. As for him living on the other side of the mountain, that’s probably true. Let’s go take a look without delay,” Sun Wukong said.

They left their luggage at the inn for the time being, entrusting it to the staff there, before heading to the hill the stall owner had mentioned.

They came to a grove of trees near the mountain, where they stopped for a while to observe the surroundings. Then they summoned the local earth god.

"Old Earth God, do you know what kind of monster lives around here, and what the name of that mountain is?" Lin Yaoxie asked hurriedly.

"Young Master Lin, this mountain is called Wunian Mountain. As for whether there are any monsters living in this cave, I have no idea," the local earth god said truthfully.

"You old earth god, you know nothing. All I got from calling you here was the name of the mountain. You should leave now." After saying this, Lin Yaoxie turned to face Zhu Bajie.

"Bajie, let's disguise ourselves as ordinary people and go take a look around that mountain to see if we can find anything." After saying this, Lin Yaoxie led Zhu Bajie to the front of the mountain, leaving Sun Wukong and Sha Wujing in the woods as backup.
