Infinite Chimera Creation

As if oblivious to the disapproving looks from James and the others, Stuart adjusted his glasses, his voice remaining calm.
"But... but if we bring two people with us, we'll definitely arouse suspicion."
Peter smiled bitterly. Of course, he had considered bringing more people, but the Dark Lord was so cautious that he would never allow him to bring more. As for Apparition, that was also impossible; without clear coordinates, using Apparition would be suicide.
"Foolish! If I'm going, what's the point of having Dumbledore go?"
The voice, still icy cold, stunned everyone present.
“Stuart, I know you are powerful, but the Dark Lord gives me a completely different feeling than you. He is much stronger than you.”
Ignoring the possibility of being punished by Stuart, Peter braced himself and spoke, trying to dissuade him from his crazy idea.
"Your impression? Peter, are you kidding me? Do you think I act like a lunatic when I'm with my friends, unleashing all my power and intimidating them?"
"Isn't that what you did?" Peter almost blurted out, but he quickly covered his mouth and looked at James, hoping he could persuade Stuart.
Upon receiving a signal from his friend, James was about to speak when Stuart interrupted him.
“I’ve met the Dark Lord before, and I know very well how dangerous he is, so there’s no need to try to persuade me anymore. Besides, his seeking out Jaime this time is very likely still related to me.”
Rubbing his wand, Stuart narrowed his eyes slightly, already having a guess in his mind.
In the original books, Voldemort began specifically hunting James because of a prophecy. That prophecy foretold that Voldemort would die at the hands of a child born on July 31st, the very day James's son, Harry, was born.
To be precise, in the original books, Voldemort was never hunting James Potter, but Harry Potter. Now, Harry Potter hasn't even been born yet, and Voldemort is already targeting James, which is clearly not for the reasons stated in the books.
If it wasn't because of the prophecy, then it was very likely because of the white bird he had deliberately given to Jaime. Although it was just a poorly made, unfinished product, anyone with a discerning eye could see that it was made by the same person as the Hydra. Considering the timeline, the young Hydra should already be very weak. Therefore, Voldemort's reason for seeking out Jaime became quite clear.
PS1, I'm recommending a book! It's one I've been reading: *Dimensional Transmigration: The Celestial Employee*. The beginning might be a bit boring, making it seem like a Western fantasy. But it's a genuine crossover anime/manga story!!! The later parts are really exciting, and I've been following it closely.
PS2, although the update is a few minutes late today due to some reasons, I still shamelessly ask for your collection, recommendations, monthly tickets, and donations.
Chapter Forty-Five: Choose, White Wizard or Black Wizard
"Stuart, are you sure you're okay? That's the Dark Lord! It's not too late to go find Professor Dumbledore now."
Peter looked at Stuart with concern, having tried to advise him for what seemed like the umpteenth time.
Stuart, who was silently designing his next experiment, opened his eyes and stared coldly at Peter until Peter's back was covered in cold sweat, before finally speaking in a cold voice.
"If I ever hear you annoyed with me again, I'll turn you into a rat, forever."
“Peter, I never knew you had such audacity. Who’s with you? Your friend? A friend you think can defeat Voldemort?”
Before Peter could react, an angry and cruel voice rang out from the street corner. Voldemort angrily waved his right hand, seemingly unable to believe that a mere Peter dared to defy him. His black robes fluttered violently as if blown by a strong wind. Behind him, a group of Death Eaters, also dressed in black robes, remained silent, coldly watching Stuart and Peter, waiting for their master's command to draw their wands and kill the two audacious men.
"Lord Voldemort, it's been a long time. Shall I offer you another drink?"
Before Peter could reply, Stuart smiled slightly and spoke first.
Voldemort paused, then quickened his pace, his voice growing even angrier.
"It's you! What did you do to the egg you gave me? Why is Hydra so weak?!"
"Oh! Sir, you're too agitated. I think you need to calm down. Hmm, there are many ways to calm someone down, and I happen to know a few. Let me help you."
With a sinister smile, Stuart extended his wand, and before Voldemort could react, a dozen ghastly green beams of light flew toward him.
"Avada Kedavra".
After Voldemort easily dealt with the killing curses, Stuart's cool voice slowly rang out. He raised his wand to his chest and gave Voldemort a somewhat informal knightly salute.
"Are you calm now?"
Voldemort took a deep breath, stopped in his tracks, and stared coldly at Stuart.
"Yes, I've calmed down now. Have you thought about how you're going to explain this to me? If not, I'll show you that the Dark Lord when he's calm is far more terrifying than when he's angry."
Stuart ignored Voldemort's threat, adjusting his glasses that glowed even in the dark.
"That little one you named Hydra, she's hungry."
Voldemort was stunned for a moment, then the muscles in his face contorted with rage.
"Hungry! You said she was hungry! You said Voldemort's pet was weak because it wasn't getting enough to eat! Are you trying to kill me by making fun of me like this?"
Seeing Voldemort's ferocious expression, Stuart believed that if he weren't needed to deal with the Hydra, the enraged Dark Lord would certainly not hesitate to use a single Avada Kedavra spell.
"The hunger I'm talking about isn't the shallow kind you understand, sir. I'm talking about magic. That little one's body is developing a hunger for magic. I've told you before, she's not some laughable waste like a magical creature; she's closer to a legendary being. The growth of a legendary life form inevitably requires a large amount of magic, but this world doesn't currently possess the magic to support the growth of a legendary creature. Without a replenishment of magic, she will naturally weaken due to her body's hunger for magic."
Voldemort's expression twisted even more. Reason told him that the man before him was a madman, spouting nonsense. But instinct roared within him, "Believe him, he's telling the truth!" Torn between these two opposing emotions, he was speechless, left only to stare blankly at Stuart.
Although he witnessed the Dark Lord's rare moment of dazedness, Stuart didn't, like some shameless individuals, take photos to commemorate the embarrassing moment. He clapped his hands, the crisp sound of his palms snapping Voldemort out of his reverie.
"Of course, I'm just making this up; you certainly won't believe me, sir. So, would you mind coming with me to my laboratory? Professor Dumbledore should be there by now. Yes, you don't need to be so shocked. I think what I'm about to say is best heard by both the greatest dark wizard and the greatest white wizard. Of course, if you wish, your men can come along; I don't mind having a few more people who know the truth of the world. I imagine Dumbledore has brought many members of the Order of the Phoenix as well."
Stuart flicked his wand, and a pile of Portkeys lying at his feet slowly flew towards Voldemort. Voldemort cautiously stopped the Portkeys with his wand, carefully checked them to make sure there were no traps, and then looked at Stuart with a complicated expression.
"You prepared this a long time ago. Aren't you worried that I'll refuse to go to your lab?"
Stuart shrugged lightly, uttered the words, "But you still chose to agree, didn't you?", and then Apparated away with Peter.
In fact, Stuart hadn't even considered the possibility of Voldemort's refusal. Voldemort, who became the most powerful dark wizard, possessed a thirst for strength and power that those hesitant mortals couldn't comprehend. Seeing the Hydra easily immune to spells that killed wizards, the Dark Lord couldn't possibly remain unmoved; he couldn't possibly not desire the same power as the Hydra. Voldemort's fury and even panic after the Hydra's weakening, his dispatch of all his Death Eaters to search for Stuart, couldn't be simply due to affection for a pet. It was because, if the Hydra died, his path to power would be severed once again.
Essentially, Dumbledore and Voldemort were the same kind of people; they both pursued power. When they reached the pinnacle of power, they naturally wanted to use it. Dumbledore chose to uphold the established rules; he wanted to adapt to the world. Voldemort chose to create rules more suited to him; he wanted to rewrite the world.
However, all of this is based on the premise that they are already the most powerful. When the possibility of becoming even more powerful arises, their choices will inevitably be the same, which is—
I'll risk everything to obtain that power!
So when Stuart Apparated and saw Dumbledore smiling and a group of Order of the Phoenix waiting for him at the door of his laboratory, he wasn't surprised at all.
Everything was already decided when Stuart sent Josephine the Griffin to deliver the invitation to Dumbledore.

Chapter 46 This is no lie
Dumbledore had just opened his arms, smiling as he was about to greet Stuart, when dozens of men in black robes who followed Stuart made him stop in his tracks.
"Death Eaters!!"
Some of the more reckless members of the Order of the Phoenix immediately raised their wands, ready to attack. These actions alarmed the Death Eaters, who quickly formed a protective circle around Voldemort, prepared to sacrifice themselves for their master. But before the Order members could make any further move, a dark shadow flashed past, and everyone who had drawn their wands—whether from the Order of the Phoenix or Death Eaters—knelt on the ground.
“There is no permission to use force in front of the laboratory.”
A chillingly indifferent voice, even more terrifying than Stuart's, rang out. The shadowy figure stopped, revealing his face to everyone, but the moment they saw him clearly, an even greater terror gripped their hearts.
A monster with a human body, a wolf's head, and bat wings stared at the crowd without a trace of emotion. Although its gaze was on them, the somber, deathly aura emanating from it gave everyone present the feeling that "this monster isn't looking at me; it's looking through me into the realm of death."
Is this what you wanted us to see?
Voldemort's cold voice rang out, clearly indicating that the sudden appearance of this monster had not frightened the Dark Lord. Dumbledore, though silent, undoubtedly shared the same questioning look in his eyes as Voldemort.
"You're joking. Maurice is certainly not what I'm showing you; he's just in charge of guarding the laboratory. What I really want you to see is inside, Lord Voldemort, Professor Dumbledore. Please come with me."
Stuart bowed slightly, gestured, and led the way into the laboratory.
Behind him, Voldemort's eyes held a complex expression. Although he appeared calm, he knew in his heart that, given the speed that monster had displayed, if it had attacked him instead of the Death Eaters initially, he would likely have been on his knees as well. Yet Stuart had said that such a powerful monster was merely a doorman, which stirred something within Voldemort. The previously taken-for-granted "you" and "sir" now carried a hint of mockery.
Dumbledore, clearly not as calculating as Voldemort, or perhaps even more so, being far more cunning, wouldn't reveal his thoughts even if they were present. So the old fox chuckled and followed Stuart into the laboratory. His cheerful demeanor made him look every bit the kind old grandfather, showing no sign that he was the most powerful white wizard of the century.
Seeing Dumbledore enter the laboratory, Voldemort shook his head and followed. Neither the white wizard nor the black wizard showed any interest in checking on their fallen subordinates; with their keen eyesight, they could easily see that they had simply fainted.
After checking and confirming that their companions were alright, the members of the Order of the Phoenix and the Death Eaters hurriedly followed Lucius and Jaime into the laboratory, as they dared not stay with Maurice.
After confirming that everyone who could attend had arrived, Stuart took a bright green seed from his pocket and threw it on the ground. Moments later, everyone felt a vibration beneath their feet. While ordinary people were still looking around, searching for the source of the vibration, James and the other elites were already staring intently at the ground beneath their feet.
Something extremely large is approaching from below.
There was no earth-shaking tremor or dust flying; calmly and uneventfully, a huge hole appeared before everyone, but the thing that had opened the hole was nowhere to be seen. Ignoring the astonished looks on everyone's faces, Stuart offered no explanation and simply walked into the hole.
Dumbledore gave Voldemort a helpless smile and followed him inside. Voldemort, upon seeing Dumbledore's smile, snorted as if he had seen something disgusting and followed him inside as well.
With the leader inside, the underlings couldn't possibly wait outside. Watching them warily, the group cautiously entered the cave. Once inside, they discovered it wasn't as dark as they'd imagined. The ceiling was covered with vines that emitted a red glow; although the light wasn't strong, it was sufficient for seeing the path.
As the last person stepped into the cave, the entrance was instantly covered by a layer of earthen film. Everyone gasped in surprise, staring blankly at the sealed opening. But Stuart and the black and white wizards ignored the terrified crowd and continued walking at their leisurely pace. Thinking it safer to stay with their leader, the group rushed inside as if being chased by ghouls. After they left, layers of earthen walls collapsed, sealing the cave once more.
Within the collapsed earthen wall, crimson vines intertwined, resembling a group of snakes mating. At the very center of the vines, a large, blood-red eye stared intently in Stuart's direction, as if it could see what was happening there. In fact, the guardian could indeed see Stuart; the vines on the cave ceiling that provided illumination were all his eyes, allowing him to monitor those people at all times. If they harbored any ill intentions towards Stuart, the guardian could instantly cause the earth beneath their feet to collapse, burying them alive.
After walking for an unknown amount of time in the tunnels, some of the more mentally resilient individuals began to feel uneasy due to the prolonged confinement and the dim red light. Stuart and the leader of the black and white wizards, however, remained completely calm. They were now at the very bottom of the earth; if it weren't for the guardians providing oxygen, they would have long since succumbed to dizziness from lack of oxygen.
“Your name is Stuart, right? That’s what I heard Peter call you. The thing in front of the door just now, and the thing that opened the passage, were they all made by you? I remember you said you were a researcher, and that the Hydra was made by you.”
In the end, Voldemort was less cunning than Dumbledore, and he asked the question that both of them wanted to ask first.
"Yes, they are all my creations. Originally, I tried to create them just out of interest; I found it interesting to create a new species with my own hands. But then one day, an accident during a vampire experiment made me no longer satisfied with those minor modifications."
I began trying to create monsters that only existed in legends. At first, I failed repeatedly, never succeeding even once. But the accumulation of countless failures finally led me to the path of success. Yes, I succeeded; I created those legendary monsters.
However, a researcher's desires are not so easily satisfied. I still yearn to create an even more powerful being. Now, I'm about to succeed, just one small problem to solve—yes, a small problem.
And that is precisely why I invited you all here.
As long as no one knows the truth, isn't what I'm saying the truth? In the dim red light, Stuart's lips curled into a faint smile.
PS1, I'm going to be a bit pretentious lately... ahem, I'm going to recommend some books. Yes, that's right, even a lazy bum has the right to recommend books; nothing can stop a lazy bum. This time, I'm recommending Jinbi's "Listen to Your Teacher." Well, it's embarrassing for a nobody like me to recommend a book by a great author, but I'm still bravely putting the title up. This book has enough words, no need to wait for it to get fat, everyone can read it directly without worry... or, use it? Hahaha, I didn't say anything.

Chapter 47 An Accidental Outbreak
After Stuart answered Voldemort's question, the three fell silent again. After walking for a few more minutes, a small dot of light appeared ahead; clearly, they had reached the exit.
Upon emerging from the passage, everyone was stunned. They had never imagined that such a place existed underground. For a moment, they even thought they had entered a world that only existed in legends.
Looking up, the soft golden light emanating from above wasn't from the sun, but from a huge golden beetle perched on the cave ceiling. That radiant, sun-like light, illuminating the seemingly endless cave, emanated from its abdomen.
If a motionless beetle couldn't deliver enough of a shock, then a griffin perched atop a towering stone pillar, its sharp gaze fixed upon them, certainly would. Under that intense gaze, each person felt as if a sword hung over their head, ready to snatch their life at any moment.
Suppressing their fear of the sky's overlord, the group turned their gaze from above to what lay before them. Looking at the dense jungle before them, they were momentarily disoriented, finding it hard to believe that this seemingly endless forest was underground.
"Alright, if you all like to daydream, please continue later. Now, follow me closely. Our destination is a laboratory deep in the jungle. If you stray off the right path due to your own mistakes, you might not even find your corpse. Of course, those who are confident in their abilities can ignore what I say."
Stuart clapped his hands, not caring whether the people behind him followed, and strode into the seemingly dangerous jungle. James and the others who knew Stuart shuddered, but without hesitation, they followed, afraid of being even a little too slow.
As James passed by Dumbledore, he kindly whispered something in his ear.
“Professor, if we don’t want the Order of the Phoenix to suffer non-combat casualties, we should let them do as Stuart says. Stuart never jokes in situations like this.”
The old fox smiled and nodded, accepting James's suggestion. He tapped his throat lightly with his wand, granting himself a booming voice.
