"Hello, the carriages in front are all full. May we sit here?"

Sirius hesitated, glancing at Stuart. He knew his friend had chosen the last carriage for peace and quiet. What if too many people and too much noise annoyed him, and he wanted to beat everyone up and throw them into the aisle?

Noticing Sirius's hesitation, Stuart looked at the disheveled figure and the timid, short figure behind him.

"Of course, as long as Remus agrees, we certainly won't refuse two students who are having too much fun and can't find their carriages. You two must be freshmen too, could you please introduce yourselves?"

After Lupin said he didn't mind, the messy-haired boy put down his luggage and awkwardly introduced himself.

“My name is James Potter, my parents are wizards, and he is Peter Pediru. Um, like the student just said, we were having so much fun that we forgot to look for our carriage and almost missed the train.”

After introducing himself, although the young Mr. Potter was clearly a little arrogant, his good speaking skills allowed him to quickly integrate into the small group, and the group chatted happily.

This harmonious scene made Stuart, who was silently observing from the side, sigh inwardly. No wonder these four people would later form the Raiders group; their compatibility was indeed excellent.

Even Peter Pedro, the future traitor, can now happily join in on a topic that seems somewhat inexplicable to others.

Sirius Black's four friends are divided into four groups: one who became a werewolf and had no friends growing up; one who had only a cold-faced friend who was more violent than verbal due to family factors; one who had no friends because he was always timid and lacked talent; and one who had no friends because he was too talented and arrogant.

Their similar life experiences made the four hit it off immediately. The more they talked, the more they found the other three to be to their liking, and their conversation became increasingly lively. Eventually, they even forgot about Stuart's presence. Stuart, however, was quite content with this, casually picking up a book and flipping through it.

The group of people, each engrossed in their own activities, did not notice the passage of time until the train's announcement reminding them to disembark came on, at which point they realized the train had already arrived at its station.

Stuart put away his book, said a polite goodbye, and left the carriage, leaving behind four guys who were reluctant to part and were saying goodbye to each other, as if they wished they could chat in that carriage forever.

When Stuart took the small boat to Hogwarts Castle, he didn't see the four of them. Without a doubt, those guys must have deepened their friendship on some small boat.

After disembarking, Stuart strode past the half-giant who was gesturing for the new students to board, casually sat down in a small boat that already had three people, and took the last seat.

Because they were not familiar with each other and because of the beautiful lake scenery along the way, the four people on the boat did not speak to each other until they disembarked, except for a brief self-introduction.

After disembarking, before Stuart could even straighten his clothes, which had gotten wrinkled in the small boat, the four guys who were already so close they were practically arm in arm with each other suddenly appeared out of nowhere and tried to get him to join their lively conversation.

Stuart could only remain silent in response; he disliked overly enthusiastic atmospheres, as they annoyed him greatly.

Fortunately, the castle gates opened quickly, and a female professor who looked unapproachable walked out. Her serious and stern expression quickly silenced the talkative children.

Nodding in satisfaction, the female professor thanked the hardworking key keeper and led a group of trembling little wizards into the castle.

During the procession, the female professor first gave a brief self-introduction, telling the children that her name was McGonagall and that she would be teaching them Transfiguration. Then, with a few authoritative words, she easily subdued the children who were gradually becoming more active, before leading them into the hall that had been prepared for the Sorting Ceremony.

Upon entering the lobby and being watched by the upperclassmen, the four boys realized that they might be assigned to different colleges from their new friends, and they all became visibly nervous.

Peter, who had the worst mental fortitude, even started walking with his arms and legs moving in unison, which drew laughter from the older students in the audience.

But what no one knew was that Sirius Black, with his gloomy face, was even more nervous than Peter.

As a nobleman, he didn't know the specific steps involved in the college selection process. However, he was certain that the new students were assigned to colleges based on bloodline and personality.

As far as bloodline goes, Stuart, whose family has been Ravenclaw for generations, will certainly follow in the footsteps of his ancestors and enter Ravenclaw.

In terms of personality, the somewhat dim-witted Peter might go to Hufflepuff, the slightly reckless James is likely to go to Gryffindor, and the gentle Lupin will probably go to the wise and quiet Ravenclaw.

Only he, only Sirius Black, has a very high chance of being sorted into Slytherin because of his damned Black bloodline.

If he could, Sirius would absolutely not want to go to Slytherin, because everyone who knows a little about Hogwarts knows that Slytherin is the common enemy of the other three houses, and he doesn't want to be at odds with his friends.

The thought that "if I join Slytherin, I will most likely become enemies with Stuart and the others" made Sirius's body tremble uncontrollably.

While he was lost in thought and filled with anxiety, the people ahead of him had already finished their sorting. Professor McGonagall called his name several times, but he didn't react until Stuart patted him on the shoulder. Only then did he come to his senses and hurriedly walk towards Professor McGonagall.

But having been lost in thought, he had no idea what to do during the Sorting Ceremony and could only stare blankly at Professor McGonagall.

Chapter Fifteen: The Two Students' College Division (Revised)

Professor McGonagall clearly took Sirius's behavior as a challenge to her authority as a teacher. She glared at this troublemaker who dared to be so arrogant on the first day of school, determined to teach him a lesson later. She then shook the list in her hand and said with an even more serious expression.

“Now, Mr. Black, sit down on the stool and put on the Sorting Hat.”

Startled by Professor McGonagall's expression, Sirius quickly sat up on the stool, then put his dirty hat on his head and peered through the gaps under the hat at the long tables of each house, trying to find out which house James and the others had been assigned to.

Oh, child, your friends, James Potter, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pediru, they've all gone to Gryffindor, so now listen to me, okay?

Suddenly, a slightly shrill voice rang in Sirius's mind, startling him. He looked around frantically, hoping to find out who had spoken.

"Oh, child, don't be afraid. I am the hat on your head. Now, please listen to me carefully. You know, ignoring an old person is very impolite. By the way, you don't need to say your answer aloud; just think it in your heart."

Okay, please go ahead.

Forcibly suppressing the feelings of guilt that arose after hearing that James and the others had gone to Gryffindor, Sirius Black cleared his mind and slowly spoke in his mind.

"Oh, since you're ready, I'll begin. To be honest, in my thousand years of life, I've never seen a Black like you. People say Black is born Slytherin, but aside from bloodline, you don't meet any of the requirements of a Slytherin. You're more like a Gryffindor."

"For the sake of your bloodline, I can give you a chance to enter Slytherin. Choose, child, do you want to go to Slytherin or Gryffindor? The choice is in your hands now, please choose quickly..."

[Gryffindor!! I want to go to Gryffindor!!]

Before the Sorting Hat could finish speaking, Sirius Black, finally convinced that he wasn't hallucinating and that he really could go to Gryffindor, immediately roared excitedly in his mind.

Good child, the Sorting Hat follows your wishes.

"Gryffindor!!"

With a loud voice, the Sorting Hat announced the house where Sirius would spend the next six years.

Black, the heir to a dark family, a Slytherin who should have been the best, became a student of his arch-rivals, Gryffindor.

Immediately, the students from all four colleges were in an uproar, excitedly discussing this unprecedented event that had not occurred in a thousand years.

The Slytherin students, in particular, all had faces as gloomy as stone that could drip water.

Just moments ago, they were smiling and offering their blessings to the Black family heir, and now that person has entered Gryffindor. This is tantamount to slapping them in the face in front of the entire school.

Some of the older students even looked at Blake with a chilling gaze.

However, Sirius Black didn't care about the Slytherins' gazes; he wasn't afraid of them at all.

Although he did not agree with the Black family's ideology, he still had Black blood in his veins and was not lacking in the ruthlessness typical of the Greyhound family. If anyone dared to provoke him, he would not hesitate to teach them a lesson they would never forget.

After laughing and high-fiving James and the other two, Sirius looked at Stuart, who was still standing in the crowd, and waved to him with a bright smile.

Standing in the group, Stuart simply nodded calmly to Sirius without saying anything more.

"Halsen Stuart".

Upon hearing his name called, Stuart suppressed his smile, lest Professor McGonagall, who was in a bad mood, think he was being provocative.

With the Squadron on his head, Stuart wore an expectant expression. Although he could use Occlumency, he only concealed his memories of his past life and some parts involving human experimentation; the rest remained unhidden.

He wanted to see how this magical artifact, created by the four giants, would evaluate him.

"Oh, child, I have just met a Black I've never met before, and now you've shown me a human being I've never met before. Even Salazar back then didn't have such ambition as you, and your thirst for knowledge, that intense, almost obsessive thirst, reminds me of a second Rowena."

With a slight smile, Stuart was not alarmed by the Sorting Hat's words, even though in the eyes of most British wizards, the four great figures of Hogwarts were second only to Merlin and were revered as great heroes.

However, Stuart did not believe that he was inferior to the Big Four. In terms of talent, he was confident that he was no less than anyone else. In terms of effort, his efforts were enough to make those who were praised for their efforts feel ashamed. As for luck, someone who was 100% compatible with the legendary Anka was bound to have good luck, even if he could not be said to be favored by the world.

"I am honored to receive praise from the creations of the four giants and to be compared with two of them."

[Little fellow, hypocrisy is no good quality, and I feel no sense of honor from you. I must say, you've presented me with a great dilemma: pure-blooded, with immense ambition—a perfect fit for Slytherin's requirements.]

However, you also possess a strong thirst for knowledge, perfectly matching Ravenclaw's requirements. If those two were still alive, they would undoubtedly argue over the right to take you as their apprentice.

[You're like this, I have no idea which college to put you in. Little one, choose a college you want to go to, that way I won't have to worry about it.]

Since that's the case, then let me follow in the footsteps of my ancestors and go to Ravenclaw. Besides, I'm very curious about the knowledge there.

"Then, Ravenclaw!"

The Sorting Hat's booming voice echoed through the Great Hall once more, and immediately, enthusiastic applause erupted at the Ravenclaw table. The prefects stood up again to welcome the new students of their house, while Sirius Black and his three companions at the Gryffindor table waved and offered their blessings.

While shaking hands with the prefect with little smile, Stuart was already scheming in his mind how to make the most of the Ravenclaw library.

At first, he thought he would be sorted into Slytherin, after all, he was cold and ruthless and did things by any means necessary, which was very much in line with the requirements of Slytherin.

But to his surprise, even a thirst for knowledge filled with greed would be deemed by the Sorting Hat to meet Ravenclaw's standards, and even compared to the founder of Ravenclaw.

This made Stuart start to wonder if the woman known for her gentleness in history was actually the kind of person who would do anything to seize a rare book.

Soon, the Sorting Ceremony ended, and Stuart's college life finally began.

Chapter Sixteen: Idiot (Revised)

"Human beings always take it for granted that they are right, foolishly believe in their own judgment, and arrogantly think that the world will change because of their will. Such arrogance is truly laughable."

With his left hand flipping through a spellbook and his right hand gently rubbing his forehead, Stuart muttered to himself. This amused a Ravenclaw student next to him, who leaned closer and whispered a question.

“My gut feeling tells me that you were just describing yourself, Stuart, right?”

Stuart gave the senior, who was clearly gloating, a cold look in his eyes, and spoke in a calm tone.

"If you can tell from the tone of voice, don't attribute it to unreliable things like intuition. Ravenclaw doesn't believe in unfounded things."

Faced with Stuart's cold face, Blanche simply shrugged indifferently, not caring about his attitude. A year of getting along had long since made Blanche accustomed to this junior's indifference.

She shifted her chair and moved closer to Stuart, the somewhat thick-skinned girl staring curiously at his face.

"So you're not denying it, are you really talking about yourself? Tell me, tell me, what could possibly trouble the wise Mr. Stuart so much that he's even starting to mock himself?"

Stuart gave Blanche a cold glance. If he hadn't sensed that she meant no harm and was just curious, he would have cursed this senior who was trying to exploit his weakness.

After thinking it over for a moment, Stuart felt there was no need to hide what was troubling him, so he decided to tell this obviously curious senior student to save her from bothering him again.

After organizing his thoughts, he spoke slowly.

"Actually, I had done some experiments in my home lab before enrolling, and a month before enrollment, I had a great idea. But to complete it, I needed more advanced technology, which I didn't have."

"At the time, I thought that with so many books in Hogwarts, I could complete the experiment quickly by just looking up some information there. But the reality is that a whole school year has passed and the holidays are just around the corner, and I still haven't made any progress in my experiment."

"This year, I searched through the entire Hogwarts Library and Ravenclaw's collection rooms. While I can't say I've read all the materials, I can confidently say that I've looked at about half of them, but I still haven't found what I'm looking for."

"The lack of progress over a long period of time has made me somewhat doubt my experimental design. It's not that I doubt its correctness; I believe the experiment is definitely correct. However, it may not be something I can solve right now. Perhaps I need to conduct some preliminary experiments to accumulate some things that I don't yet possess."

Blanche blinked her beautiful, large eyes, her gaze fixed on Stuart's blue eyes with a "Are you an idiot?" kind of expression. Noticing her gaze, Stuart's eyebrows furrowed slightly.

"Senior, what's with that look you're giving me, like I'm an idiot?"

"Because you're an idiot, Stuart."

Upon hearing Blanche's words, Stuart frowned, looked at her with a puzzled expression, and asked.

"Senior, can you explain why you called me an idiot? Do you have a solution to the problem I just mentioned?"

In the end, Stuart smiled bitterly to himself, realizing he had been too hasty. He hadn't even explained the experimental details; how could an ordinary student like Blanche possibly have a solution?
