Conquer the world, young man!

"Looks like it still won't work." Totsuka shook his head slightly. Chrome's genjutsu was still somewhat immature compared to Rokudo Mukuro's. Such pillars of fire could indeed seem real for a moment, but it wouldn't be enough to truly fool Mammon. Mammon then confirmed this and also used his genjutsu to freeze all the pillars of fire, making the entire stadium seem to have entered a world of ice and snow.
"That's really powerful illusion magic." Reborn exhaled, his breath creating a white mist.
Totsuka wholeheartedly agreed; he could even feel the chill creeping in. The illusions created by such skilled illusionists were more real than reality itself. It seemed Chrome couldn't compare to Mammon in illusion magic.
“Let me expose your true colors…” Mammon pointed a finger at Chrome, “No matter how much you struggle, it’s useless, because you have become a part of my illusion world.” As he waved his finger, Chrome, whose legs were already frozen, was knocked aside.
After the illusion was dispelled, Chrome, lying on the ground, still tightly gripped the trident, which immediately made Mammon realize how important this weapon was to Chrome. Of course, he wouldn't leave such a weapon with Chrome, and directly shattered the trident into pieces.
"No!" Chrome cried out as her body collapsed. After losing the trident, Chrome's face turned noticeably pale, and her abdomen caved in as if she had lost her internal organs.
"What's going on?" Totsuka frowned and looked directly at Mammon.
Mammon floated around once and explained, "It seems that illusion magic was used to create her internal organs, allowing her to survive until now."
"Is this even allowed?" Sawada Tsunayoshi scratched his head in frustration, not wanting to see this newly appeared Mist Guardian in such pain.
“That concludes the competition, hehehe…” Belphegor laughed, confident of the outcome.
"No, Tsuna, look." Totsuka pointed to Chrome on the ground, who was now emitting white smoke, as if undergoing some kind of transformation.
"They're here!" Sawada Tsunayoshi covered his head, his face pale, and whispered, "It's that guy..."
"So it really was him?" Totsuka realized what was going on, a smile playing on his lips as he looked towards the center of the arena. The one who had risen from the ground was no longer Chrome; his left eye displayed a bright red six, and he was wielding a brand-new trident. There was no one else but him.
The rubble kicked up from under the floorboards sent Mammon flying to the side. The newcomer then said, "Don't you think you're bluffing too much? Kufufu... you're just a mafia member."
Standing upright, the pineapple leaf on his head still swaying in the wind, the newcomer turned around, a smile on his face, "I've returned from the end of reincarnation..."
"Mukuro, you still came." Totsuka chuckled, drawing the attention of the others on the other side of Varia. "But I didn't expect you to use a girl's body as a medium."
Rokudo Mukuro twirled the trident in his hand and let out a low laugh. "Kufufu... You're right. Since it's about dealing with the Mafia, I don't mind coming out and taking a look."
"You've already agreed to become the Mist Guardian, why are you using this excuse now?" Totsuka shook his head with a wry smile, but his expression darkened when he heard Mammon mention the Avengers Prison. After Rokudo Mukuro's escape, he was imprisoned in the Avengers Prison again, but this time in an even deeper level—the lowest level prison where even light and sound couldn't penetrate. An ordinary person would definitely break down in such a place.
Totsuka never imagined that Rokudo Mukuro would be in such a predicament. If it weren't for his genjutsu, he probably wouldn't be here.
"I exist right here." Rokudo Mukuro didn't care about Mammon's words. He glanced at the boy and emphasized, "I am right here."
"What a nuisance." Mammon didn't think he would lose to an illusion possessing a woman, so he immediately created a blizzard, freezing Rokudo Mukuro completely. "Alright, let me dispel the illusion!"
Ten beams of light remained fixed on Rokudo Mukuro, who was frozen in ice. They relaxed when the number six in Rokudo Mukuro's left eye changed to one. Mammon was immediately entangled by the lotus flower conjured by Rokudo Mukuro, the vines tightening their grip.
"Who are you calling an illusion?" Rokudo Mukuro, emerging from the ice, smiled more, the lotus flower he had been holding tightly around the other man now growing even more vigorously. "Alright, what exactly do you want to do, Alcobaleno? If you continue, you'll die..."
Of course, Mammon would not be so passively controlled. After unleashing a burst of light, he shattered the vines and transformed into countless figures.
The illusionary duel between the two elevated the entire spectacle to a new level. When Totsuka saw Sawada Tsunayoshi clutching his head and groaning in pain, he immediately placed his hand on Tsuna's forehead, using his mental energy to calm him. In that instant, he seemed to see a scene: inside a massive, water-covered cage, within a transparent dome, a blue-purple-haired figure chained... It was Rokudo Mukuro...
So, that was where Rokudo Mukuro was, the lowest level of prison? Then, he saw Rokudo Mukuro, Kakimoto Chikusa, and Joshima Ken escaping from the Avengers Prison. When they couldn't escape, he used himself as bait, allowing the other two to get away.
Just as he suspected, Rokudo Mukuro cared about his companions. This memory couldn't be fake, nor could his feelings.
"Are you alright, Tsuna?" Totsuka asked with concern, looking at Tsuna who had stopped crying out in pain.
When Sawada Tsunayoshi felt the warmth on his forehead, he quickly waved his hand, his face regaining its color from its previous paleness. "It's nothing, I just saw..."
“That person,” Totsuka sighed, his eyes brightening, “he will become a very good Mist Guardian. I think if it’s him, there’s no problem.”
Sawada Tsunayoshi also looked at that person. At this moment, the entire space of the stadium seemed to be distorted, and the illusion used by Mammon was also resolved by Rokudo Mukuro.
"Fall into hell and accept reincarnation." Rokudo Mukuro, whose entire body was covered by lotus flowers, raised his head and merged the Mist Ring he had obtained into one.
Mammon, already trapped in Rokudo Mukuro's genjutsu, was as if he had fallen into an abyss. His entire body was squeezed and twisted, and he let out a terrible cry before disappearing.
"There is only one reason why you will fail, and that is to be my enemy." As Rokudo Mukuro landed, he also dispelled all the illusions. When he opened his hand, he held a complete Mist Ring. "Is this enough?"
Totsuka thought about the missing Mammon. He should be alright. He could still feel Mammon's life force. It seemed that Mammon had just run away.
"Since both Rings of Mist are in Chrome's hands, Chrome the Skull is the winner of this match." Cerbero announced the final result after the match, and the barrier that had been protecting the non-participants was opened. Cerbero breathed a sigh of relief; this time, the Battle of Mist was finally not disrupted.
“Kufufu… It’s over.” Rokudo Mukuro walked to the boy’s side, leaned down to his cheek, and whispered, “I’ve truly appeared before you, Totsuka. Don’t you have anything to say about that?”
Totsuka reached out and hugged Rokudo Mukuro. "Hopefully, Chrome's body can handle it."
"You're quite perceptive." Rokudo Mukuro's smile widened, and he reached out to pull the boy into his arms. "You need to be careful of XANXUS; he's no ordinary person."
Totsuka nodded, still held in his arms, and was about to say something when he saw Rokudo Mukuro's eyes slowly close, his entire weight pressing down on him. "I'm a little tired..."
"Hey, Mukuro!" Totsuka felt the weight on him lighten, and the person who had been pressing down on him had become Chrome.
Totsuka picked up Chrome from his arms. The girl's health was already poor, and Rokudo Mukuro had borrowed her for a while. It seemed that only proper rest could help her recover.
"Human bodies are truly useless." Joshima Inu scoffed, then turned and walked towards the door.
Looking at the person in his arms, Totsuka quickly asked, "Aren't you bringing Chrome along?"
“If you want to take her in, go ahead.” Kakimoto Chikusa turned around, her glasses reflecting the light.
"Why is this happening?" Totsuka's lips twitched. If he really took Chrome in, Chrome's personal safety would be at risk. This made him follow behind the two of them. "Then I'll go with you and take her to your place."
Chisuke Kakimoto shrugged, said nothing, and walked out the door.
Totsuka nodded to the Vongola members behind him, "I'll go see them off now. See you in the next match."
"Goodbye..." Sawada Tsunayoshi waved blankly, but after the boy left, he couldn't help but tap his head. He should have gone with him!
"As expected of Tsuna." Reborn glanced at Tsuna and snorted coldly. "Compared to anyone, you are far too weak right now."
Sawada Tsunayoshi was dealt another blow. When would he finally...?
On the other side, XANXUS watched the direction the boy left in, his brows still furrowed. "What scum..." Why would such a strange person appear here? No matter who it is, he feels extremely annoyed!
Chapter 103100 A Day in Valia
Totsuka was surprised that Chrome and the two of them lived in Kokuyo Middle School. She had already witnessed how dilapidated the school was during her battle with Rokudo Mukuro. Was it really alright for a girl to live with them like this?
"You can just leave her wherever you want." Joshima Inu grinned, revealing a set of white teeth. "Since Lord Mukuro still values you, you can leave."
Chikusa Kakimoto adjusted her glasses, glancing at the person in Totsuka's arms. "Useless."
These three were all Rokudo Mukuro's companions, yet they seemed clueless about how to care for Chrome. Totsuka frowned slightly, then noticed the girl in his arms had also woken up. He quickly placed Chrome on the only worn-out sofa in the room and asked, "Chrome, how are you now?"
"Lord Totsuka?" Chrome looked up and saw the smiling boy. She blinked, then looked at the other two. "Chikusa, and Inu?"
"His body is too fragile." Joshima Inu said, then walked straight towards the door. "I'm going to buy some food."
Chrome reached out and touched her stomach, realizing she was indeed a little hungry. However, seeing the boy's concerned expression, she quickly waved her hand and said, "Lord Totsuka, I'm fine now."
"Are you okay with getting along with them?" Totsuka glanced at Kakimoto Chikusa, who was leaning against the wall, and whispered, "Actually, quite a few people already live in Tsuna's house. Tsuna's mother is very nice. Chrome, you can definitely live there. You'll have someone to take care of you."
Chrome shook his head and smiled, "Chikusa and Inu are both very good, and Mukuro-sama is the best."
Totsuka glanced furtively at Kakimoto Chikusa, noticing a slight smirk on his face when he heard Chrome's words. It seemed this guy wasn't as indifferent to Chrome as he appeared; as for Joshima Inu, hadn't he already gone to buy food? After confirming that the two were alright, Totsuka said goodbye to Chrome. If he went back any later, his family would probably worry again.
After speaking with Gilgamesh and Enkidu that day, Gilgamesh's attitude improved considerably. Although he was displeased with Suoh's unauthorized nighttime outing, he ultimately didn't cause any more trouble. Totsuka, reflecting on the days of the Ring Wars during which he hadn't visited Suoh Mikoto in Homra, felt a pang of longing. Even though he had sent him numerous messages over the past few days, he hadn't received any replies. He wondered if Mikoto was simply too busy.
Totsuka made up her mind to go to HOMRA, still without anyone by her side, preparing to go alone. However, halfway there, she suddenly got tangled in piano wire and heard someone's voice, "Hehehe... Prince, you've been caught!"
“Belfigor?” Totsuka turned around. The disheveled prince smiled smugly and even tidied up the piano strings wrapped around him. “What are you doing here?”
Belphegor looked at the boy's calm expression, and his smile widened. "How interesting. The prince would like to invite you to Valia as a guest."
"Since you're a guest, this doesn't seem like the way to treat a guest." Totsuka looked at the piano strings binding him, thinking that trying to use them to restrain him wouldn't be so easy.
Belphegor casually pulled out another small knife, pointing the tip at the boy. "Well, since you've been caught by the prince, you'd better not think about running away, or else, hehehe..."
Totsuka sighed slightly. It seemed that today's plans would have to be canceled. "Well then, lead the way. But you should put away the piano wires. I don't want to break your weapon."
Belphegor laughed so hard his shoulders shook, and the eerie chuckle didn't stop. But when he saw the boy's serious expression, he couldn't help but reel in the piano strings. "This is getting more and more interesting..."
Totsuka paid no attention to Belphegor's strange behavior; in his eyes, the people of Varia were far more eccentric than Tsuna and the others. Following Belphegor, despite being watched by Bel from time to time—even though he didn't know why Bel, whose eyes were covered by hair, could see—they still arrived at Varia's residence.
The living conditions in Valia were quite good, and it seemed that their tastes were exactly the same as Gilgamesh's. Upon entering the spacious hall, I saw the people I had met during the match.
"Hey!" The loud roar naturally came from Squalo, whose face contorted in distress upon seeing Totsuka. "Bell, why did you bring this guy here!"
“Hehehe, the prince brought him back…” Belphegor grinned, showing off his pearly white teeth. “After all, Mammon has always wanted this person. Maybe if he’s here, he can come back.”
Squalo's lips twitched, somewhat bewildered by the boy's nonchalant demeanor. "Hey! Kid, you just showed up like that?"
Totsuka glanced around. Gora Mosca, who was to compete against Hibari Kyoya that evening, stood motionless to the side. Leveltan, on the other hand, seemed to have a stern face the moment he saw him. Hearing Squalo's question, he raised an eyebrow and said, "Wasn't Bell the one who invited me? If I'm a guest, why didn't I come?"
Squalo sighed, "Does this brat even realize they're enemies now? What if the boss sees this...?"
"Hehehe, because the prince is so charming, he followed me here." Belphegor turned to the railing outside, looking up at the sky, in a good mood. "He should be back by now, little bean."
“The boss is in a bad mood, so Mammon will probably have to hide for a while longer.” Levitan walked over and, looking at the boy somewhat awkwardly, said, “You should leave the Vongola as soon as possible…”
"Papaya face, the prince won't agree!" Belphegor turned around, his smile turning somewhat bloodthirsty. "Don't make the prince angry."
Totsuka chuckled softly, "It seems like it wouldn't be bad to learn about the enemy's movements before the battle."
"Hey! Kid, what do you think this place is?!" Squalo had never seen anyone so bold before, daring to be alone in their assassination squad's concentration camp. Was this guy really not afraid of death?
Totsuka's gaze swept around before settling on Moska. He walked over, tilted his head, and asked, "Hey, hello there, robot."
Gola Mosca lowered his head, white gas emanating from the tube inserted in his head. Levi quickly walked over and waved Mosca away, "Go somewhere else."
Mosca turned around, his mechanical body making a rumbling sound as he walked, and soon disappeared from sight.
Totsuka frowned, stroking his chin. He sensed Levi was quite nervous about this robot. He wondered what was so special about this robot that had fought Hibari. Totsuka turned to Squalo and asked, "Your Varia should have six guardians, right? There's one I don't think I've seen before. How is he?"
"He's alright, he's not dead." After answering the boy, Squalo realized, "Why should I tell you, brat!"
"I'm just curious. It's always the same few of you at every match." Totsuka shrugged and sat down on the sofa. "Since I'm here as a guest, you guys shouldn't be so formal. Maybe we can try to get along normally before the match?"
Squalo's face twisted again. "You're not really planning to come here as a guest, are you? You'd better get out of here if you don't want to die!"
Belphegor, who had drifted back from the railing, sat down next to the boy, resting his hands on the sofa and looking at Squalo. "The prince said he wants to stay here!"
“Bel…” Levi wanted to say something more to dissuade Belphegor from kidnapping people before the battle, but a flying knife sliced off a few strands of hair from his cheek, and his cheek stung a little.
"Papaya face, you'd better stay out of the way." Belphegor turned his head to the boy, looking at him and starting to laugh strangely again. "Because I'm a prince!"
"Are you really a prince?" Totsuka was a little puzzled by Belphegor's constant self-proclaimed title and couldn't help but ask.
“Hehehe, of course.” Belphegor stretched out his hand and pointed to the crown on his head. “Since you’ve been so obedient, the prince won’t kill you.”
"No way, Bell." Totsuka blinked and chuckled, "I think you guys are pretty interesting too."
“Both Papaya Face and the Captain are boring.” Belphegor spread his hands and pursed his lips. “Little Bean is much more interesting, but he’s not back yet.”
"..." Watching the Vongola brat chatting happily with Bel, Squalo walked to the side with a conflicted expression. Seriously, who would smile so happily in front of their enemy?! Is that brat an idiot?
Mosca, who had been wandering off somewhere, came out again, pointed upstairs to Squalo, and exhaled another puff of white breath.
"Tsk, what's wrong with the BOSS now?" Squalo frowned, glanced at the two people on the sofa, and resignedly walked upstairs.
