Pokémon: Starting with Lucario and Gardevoir

It slapped the Tanabata bird with its claw.

The effect is outstanding!

"Xiaolong, continue." Haoyan simply repeated the sentence.

Charizard immediately chased after Altaria, brandishing its sharp claws.

"No, if this continues, there's no way we can win."

"To win, we must use cotton for defense to increase our defensive capabilities."

"Only in this way can we wear down Haoyan's Charizard!"

"But Haoyan will never let me have my way," Naqi thought bitterly.

Then he shouted at Altaria, "Altaria, use Sing!"

As Charizard's claws gripped Altaria once more.

A high-pitched and wondrous song emanated from the beak of the Bluebird.

The song carried a strange energy that rippled and spread outwards.

The Charizard that was closest to the dragon was the most affected.

His eyes, which were originally full of wildness and sharpness, now showed signs of sleepiness.

Altaria is the Pokémon most suited to singing in the Pokémon world.

Singing is a perfect fit for him.

Seeing that Charizard was a little sleepy, Naki was overjoyed and quickly commanded Altaria, "Altaria, use Roost to restore your stamina."

The bluebird immediately fell to the ground, its cloud-like cotton feathers showering down on him.

Use energy to replenish physical strength.

Haoyan glanced at Charizard's condition but didn't pay much attention.

The song of the bluebird on the seventh night of the seventh lunar month is meant to hypnotize a wild beast.

That's unrealistic!

"Roar! Roar!" The Charizard in the air broke free from Altaria's hypnotic state and let out a roar.

Haoyan silently shook his head; in his view, this round was over.

"Little Dragon, keep chasing after them and use Dragon Claw."

The flames on Charizard's tail blazed up, and with a flap of its wings, it immediately chased after the Altaria that had already landed.

The sharp claws in his hand swung out once more.

Charizard once again damaged Altaria.

Altaria had just used its roost ability, but its stamina was further depleted by Charizard's attack.

"Bluebird of the Seventh Night, sing!" Naki wanted to use the same trick again.

The Qixi Bluebird once again uttered a wondrous song, and energy rippled outwards.

"The more you use it, the more prepared you become." Haoyan wasn't worried at all.

A strange song entered Charizard's mind, only causing it to pause slightly.

Then continue the attack.

Naki's Tanabata was completely on the defensive.

Haoyan commanded Charizard to continuously use its claws to inflict wounds on Altaria.

... ...

"Poor Naki's Tanabata Bluebird," a spectator whispered in the audience.

"Yes, that trainer named Haoyan launched a fierce attack from the very beginning."

“Not giving Director Naki any chance at all.”

"Director Naki isn't that amazing. Hao Yan has been making that gray-black Charizard use Dragon Claw the whole time, and the moves haven't changed at all."

"But even so, Director Naki couldn't do anything about it."

"Are you kidding me? Curator Naki is weak?"

"It's because Haoyan's Charizard is too strong!"

The audience members sitting in the stands began to discuss the matter.

"Little Dragon, Dragon Claw."

Charizard once again swung its claws, hitting Altaria and sending it flying.

The Azure Bird had already collapsed, its energy and stamina completely exhausted, leaving it utterly powerless to fight.

"Roar! Roar!"

After winning the battle, Hao Yan's Charizard let out a huge roar towards the gym.

It seems there is dissatisfaction, dissatisfaction with the opponent's weakness.

"Round 2, challenger Haoyan wins!" The referee waved his flag and announced the result.

"I lost again!" Naki silently recalled the Tanabata Bird.

Silently watching the roaring Charizard in the arena.

The Charizard also wore heavy black protective gear on its limbs.

This pierced Naki's heart.

Despite wearing heavy protective gear, Charizard still managed to defeat her two Pokémon with overwhelming power.

... ...

Chapter 129 Asha: We're not weak, he's just too strong.

"Who should I send out in the final round?"

"Skeleton? No way! Skarmory is countered by Charizard."

"Tropical dragon? That won't do either!"

"Crow Leader? It'll probably be knocked down just like Swellow." Naki stroked the Poké Ball at her waist, choosing her Pokémon for the final round.

Actually, Naki has a beak that she has trained quite well.

Pelipper's Flying and Water attributes are perfect for countering Charizard.

But does restraint always guarantee victory?

Naki has lost two matches in a row and is now in a state of self-doubt.

If it's just a normal failure, then it's nothing.

But the first two losses were too frustrating!

Suppressing all the emotions in his heart, he was reminded of the many spectators watching.

The competition is still ongoing.

Naki could only force herself to stay focused and continue the battle.

"Come out, Peacock!"

"Pelican, good luck!" Nachi released her last Pokémon.

Automatically, the data on the Bigmouth Gull appeared in Haoyan's mind.

Pokémon: Pelipper

[Attribute]: Flying, Water

[Level]: 42

[Ability]: Keen Eyesight (Pokémon with this ability will not have their accuracy reduced by the opponent's attacks.)

[Description]: It can fly close to the sea surface in search of food. It will stick its large beak into the sea, scoop up the food, and swallow it in one gulp.

... ...

This time, Haoyan proactively raised his hand to signal the referee: "I need to change my Pokémon."

"Okay," the referee nodded from the side.

Hao Yan casually recalled Charizard and switched out Gardevoir.

In the battle against Swellow and Altaria, Charizard maintained a significant advantage throughout.

However, his physical strength was also greatly depleted.

After all, the opponent is the Gym Leader's signature Pokémon.

After two battles, Charizard's fighting spirit has been unleashed.

It's time to let him rest.

"Shanai~Shanai~"

As soon as Gardevoir appeared, it habitually placed its hands in front of its chest, ready for battle.

Naki breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that Haoyan had finally switched to Gardevoir.

She glanced at Haoyan with a hint of gratitude.

She didn't know if the Pelipper could beat her.

After all, Charizard was wearing heavy protective gear.

But if Big Mouth Gull also loses, then Haoyan will have won a 1-3 victory.

A gym leader, using his main Pokémon, battled against a human, only to be defeated in a 1v3 match.

That would be so embarrassing!
