Pokémon: Starting with Lucario and Gardevoir

That's Haoyan, of course!

His mosquito coil swimmers all lost.

Could Tengshu win?

But would Ah Si directly say that Teng Shu will lose?

will not!

After all, Teng Shu was his apprentice.

On his apprentice's home turf, he directly said that his apprentice would lose.

Does that vine have no shame?

"There are many factors that determine the outcome of a match, so it's hard to say who will definitely win."

"However, Mr. Haoyan has a better chance of winning." Ah Si could only evade the question tactfully.

Vivian clearly wasn't going to let Ah Si off the hook so easily, and continued to ask questions.

"Mr. A-Si, when Hao-Yan was challenging the other gym leaders earlier..."

"He always defeated his opponents with a huge lead."

"Among them is the extremely powerful Master of the Thousand Mile Pavilion."

"Could it be that Haoyan only has a few advantages?"

“… …”

Ah Si, who was not good with words, had no idea how to answer.

Seeing the start of the match, he breathed a sigh of relief and said, "The match is about to begin, let's watch it together."

Just as A Si had said, Hao Yan and Teng Shu had already entered the arena, and Vivian stopped lingering and focused her attention on the two opponents.

... ...

"Each of the two players will use three Pokémon. The challenger, Tengshu, cannot change Pokémon during the battle, while the challenger, Haoyan, can change Pokémon at any time."

After confirming that neither side had any issues, the referee waved his flag: "The battle begins!"

"Come out, Breloom!" Tengshu was the first to release his Pokémon.

"Come out, Little Dragon."

Haoyan also released his Pokémon.

"Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!"

As soon as the gray-black Charizard appeared, it let out a warlike roar.

A wild roar echoed throughout the dojo.

Ah Si shook his head as he looked at the two Pokémon on the field and muttered, "The Breloom of the Vine Tree won't last more than five rounds..."

Vivian, who was standing nearby, overheard Ah Si's words and joked, "I think he might not even last three rounds..."

... ...

Chapter 165 His mind contained a high-speed computer.

Pokémon: Breloom

[Type]: Grass, Fighting

[Level]: 43

[Ability]: Spore (When attacking a Pokémon with this ability using a contact move, there is a chance that the Pokémon will become paralyzed, poisoned, or put to sleep.)

[Introduction]: The kangaroo mushroom is shaped like a kangaroo and spreads poisonous spores that will deliver a heavy blow to any opponent who inhales them and suffers pain.

... ...

When Teng Shu saw Hao Yan's fire-breathing dragon, he felt a pang of bitterness in his heart.

Flying types are the most effective counter to Fighting types.

With very few exceptions, Fighting-type Pokémon are generally not good at ranged attacks.

Flying-type Pokémon have a significant advantage in the air.

It also has an advantage over the fighting type in terms of skills.

As for winning?

Teng Shu hadn't thought of that.

Even Ah Si's star Mosquito Swimmer was sent flying off the field by Lucario.

How could he possibly have a chance?

The only thing is, I don't want to lose so completely.

"I still have a chance!"

"As long as I catch them off guard, I still have a chance!"

Thinking of this, Teng Shu felt a little more energized.

"Hylocereus, make your move according to our previous plan!" Tengshu shouted at Hylocereus.

Before facing Haoyan, Tengshu had already made a plan.

Therefore, no specific moves were announced.

"Straw hat!"

The mushroom closed its eyes, seemingly sensing something silently.

Then he quickly opened his eyes, and his originally round eyes suddenly became sharp.

The fruit, which was originally green at the tail, has turned somewhat yellow.

With a sudden, forceful flick, the fruit scattered and flew towards the Charizard from various angles.

Watching the fruit hurtling towards the fire-breathing dragon at top speed.

Hao Yan wasn't in a hurry at all, although he didn't know what trick Teng Shu would have the straw mushroom use.

However, one can guess from the actions.

A hint of admiration flashed in his eyes.

"Teng Shu has a good ability to understand."

"This combination technique is very creative and has a great idea."

"The moves were very fast and quick, they must have practiced beforehand."

"Unfortunately, I already guessed it."

Once your intentions are exposed, you'll be full of flaws!

"Little Dragon, use Flame Charge," Hao Yan said softly.

"Roar! Roar!"

Charizard roared, and the flames on its tail turned a deep reddish-gold.

Flames swept across his body.

In an instant, it had covered the entire body.

It used to be a fire-breathing dragon, but now it has become a completely fiery dragon with flames all over its body.

It plummeted straight down from the air, aimed directly at the mushroom.

Flame Charge is a powerful skill with a damage rating of 120 points in the League of Legends.

While dealing damage to enemies, you will also suffer a certain percentage of damage yourself.

As it plummeted downwards, the yellow berries emitted by the Breath of the Mushroom exploded with a "pop" upon contact with the flames of the Charizard.

The yellow powder covering it was scorched to ashes by the flames on the dragon's exterior.

"boom!"

Charizard crashed onto Breloom like a meteorite.

Fire-type Pokémon are extremely effective against Fighting and Grass-type Pokémon like Breloom.

With a powerful skill like Flame Charge, it can instantly kill you.

"Haoyan challenges Teng Shu, the master of the martial arts dojo, and wins the first round!"

Upon finding the Mushroom lying on the ground with its eyes darting around, the referee waved his flag and announced the result of the match.

The entire room fell silent.

The audience members who came to watch had probably already guessed that Haoyan would win.

After all, Charizard completely outclasses Breloom in terms of type.

This leaves the phenolphthalein with virtually no room to maneuver.

But to their utter surprise, the vine's hat mushroom was destroyed so quickly!

"Roar! Roar!"

The Charizard sustained some injuries from the recoil of its fall to the ground.

However, being full of wildness, he didn't care at all and roared wildly.

... ...

Vivian, sitting in the commentary booth, joked before the match that Teng Shu might not be able to withstand three rounds.

Surprisingly, the velvet mushroom fell down in just one round.

Unexpectedly, her words came true.

While marveling at Charizard's power, Vivian was also puzzled and asked Ah Si, "Mr. Ah Si, why did Hao Yan make Charizard use the Flare Blitz move?"

"Why not use a flying-type move that's less powerful but has the same effect?"
